Actress Alyssa Milano and her husband, David Bugliari welcomed the birth of their first child earlier this week.

Milano delivered Milo Thomas, a baby boy weighing 7 lbs at 9:27 am on Wednesday, August 31st.

The Charmed star says the name is to honor both of Milo’s grandpas.

“For all of you asking, Milo was named after his two Grandfathers, Miller and Thomas,” Alyssa tweeted. “Two very important men in my life.”

She also told fans that she is loving her new role in life.

“Breastfeeding. Poop. And bliss,” she said on twitter. “I love being Milo’s mother!”

This is the couple’s first child.

Alyssa Milano and her husband, Dave Bulgiari announced they were expecting their first child this week and Milano brought the baby bump out last night for the debut.

The actress hit the red carpet premiere of her latest film Hall Pass held at the Cinerama Theater in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday night, February 23rd.

The movie costars Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Christina Applegate, Jenna Fischer and is from the minds of the Farrelly Brothers. It opens Friday, February 25th in theaters.

Wearing a retro red and black one shoulder dress, Alyssa Milano came out for the Family Guy: It’s A Trap DVD release party at Supperclub in Hollywood. FG creator Seth MacFarlane and voice actor Seth Green were also at the party for the third Star Wars parody the series has produced.

The DVD will be available December 21st.

The former Who’s the Boss, Melrose Place and Charmed star will have a presence on the online TBS show Hot Corner. She will travel to ballparks, have commentary on the games and behind-the-scenes peeks of the playoffs.

Milano, who says she’s been a lifelong baseball fan and is a Los Angeles Dodgers season ticket holder, also has an mlb.com “Touch ‘Em All” blog, where her takes include saying “baseball is a gift. Every single game � wins and losses and the spectrum in between � is a gift.”

Ever the savvy business woman and dedicated fan, she also has a licsening deal with MLB for a womens line of clothing.

“Every game I attended, I would rush into the team shop and look to see if there was anything new and cute to buy. I would look for something that would fit my body and that wasn’t pink! I was always disappointed.”

Sports commentary is still a male dominated world and with a clothing line, that will make it harder for her to generate respect.�Best of luck to her.
