Blake Lively Says There’s No Feud With America Ferrera

Last week footage was shown on The Soup where America Ferrera rolled her eyes at Blake Lively talking about her show, Gossip Girl. Blake denies that there is a feud between the two of them…

“She’s one of my best friends in the whole wide world and honestly, when you’re sitting in a room for three hours doing satellite interviews… We were staring at a Post-It (note) with a smiley face, so I think I probably rolled my eyes a hundred times. I’m like, ‘Oh gosh, this thing is still going on?.’”

I’m glad that Blake said something. I knew that America wasn’t that way. Even though America is such a diva!

America Ferrera, What Are You Wearing?

To be fair, I should probably say, “Betty Suarez, what are you wearing?”  I swear I think the costume designers for Ugly Betty have the best job.

Here’s the lovely – and when not in character, very chic – America Ferrera on the set of her hit show, which has just begun filming its third season in New York.  This is actually one of Betty’s better outfits, I think.  At least the colors match!

America Ferrera Not Engaged After All

After America Ferrera was seen on the set of Ugly Betty wearing “a big diamond ring on that magic finger,” rumors started to fly thick and fast that boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams had popped the question.

However, her rep tells Us Magazine that the couple are not engaged. The magazine claims that “the ring could be part of a plot twist on her hit ABC show.”

Betty Suarez is getting married? Now that’s news!

America and Ryan were previously rumored to be engaged in February 2007, but since they’re not married yet, we can assume that either this is the longest engagement in Hollywood, or that like most rumors, it just wasn’t true.

Lindsay Lohan Not Guest Starring on ‘Ugly Betty’

Lindsay Lohan

Rehabbed sometime actress and current personal shopper to herself, Lindsay Lohan, has been pulled out of a guest starring role on the hit TV show ‘Ugly Betty‘.

Lindsay was set to play a girl who works in a fast food restaurant that is befriended by the show’s star Betty, played by Emmy-winning actress America Ferrera. The plotline involved Betty trying to get Lindsay’s character a job at Mode fashion magazine.

We hear that Lindsay’s PR company pulled the plug, telling the Mean Girls’ actress that it “wouldn’t be a good for her PR wise.”

How is having her on a hit show, actually doing some work not a good PR move? We all hear she is filming in between shopping and she shows up at a dance studio to be convienently photographed, we haven’t seen her do anything work related. The movies she’s chosen recently have been box-office bombs. It’s silly to not get her on a hit show and get some good press for her work.

America Ferrera Named Hispanic Woman of The Year

America Ferrera

Actress America Ferrera is on top of the world. The star of the ABC hit tv show, Ugly Betty, has been named Hispanic Woman of The Year by Billboard and Hollywood Reporter.

Publisher John Kilcullen says, “(Ferrara) is a leader for all women, but especially those in the Hispanic community. (She is) dedicated to advancing the position of Hispanics in television and film.”

She has also earned the Latina Leader award and been named by Hispanic Business Magazine to their 2007 100 Most Influental Hispanics list.
