Anna Faris stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City on Tuesday, September 27th.

The 34 year-old star of What’s Your Number talked to the host about her early acting days, including a commercial that she says kept her a virgin for a long time.

“It was this sort of fat free frozen yogurt that’s supposed to be, like, an alternative to ice cream, or whatever,” Faris said. “And, I was hired because I was chunky.”

“You have no idea, I did not hear the end of that in high school,” she said.

“In fact if you want your kid to stay a virgin, put them in headgear and put them in a fat-free frozen yogurt dairy commercial,” Faris added.

Faris joked that she thought it was part of her parents strategy to keep on the straight and narrow.

Anna Faris has taken on a whole new look for the upcoming movie The Dictator starring Sasha Baron Cohen. Her new short pixie cut and brown hair are a major departure from her usual blond haired look. I think it works just fine on her, the fact is, no matter what she looks like she’s still going to be as funny as she always is. She’s got to be one of my favorite comic actors these days, even if some of her movies are beyond silly.

I’m sure The Dictator will be an off-the-wall ridiculous romp, but I expect nothing less from Sasha Baron Cohen. The Dictator is set for release on May 11th, 2012.

The hot new designer collaboration, William Rast for Target held a private shopping event in Los Angeles at Building A at Factory Place on Saturday. Lots of celebs hit the invite only occasion to celebrate the limited edition line’s launch. Rachel Bilson, Glee’s Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss, Anna Faris, Malin Ankerman, Ryan Kwanten, Sarah Hyland and Minka Kelly all hit up the VIP shopping.

The holiday family film, Yogi Bear debuted Saturday night at the Mann Village Theater in Los Angeles, California and the stars hit the brown carpet (that’s sounds terrible!) for the premiere. Anna Faris, Dan Ackroyd, Tom Cavanaugh and Justin Timberlake posed happily for photos and with Yogi and Boo Boo.

Timberlake, who voices Boo Boo in the film, said it was challenging getting the tone of Boo Boo’s voice correct:

“It was one of those things where his voice actually — if you really wanna know — his voice is in a certain register, so it took me about 20 to 30 minutes to get my voice warmed up into that register,” Timberlake said.

Yogi Bear opens in theaters Friday December 17th.

There is a Yogi Bear live action/CGI movie coming with Anna Faris, Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake in talks to star.

The film is being directed by Eric Brevig and produced by Donald De Line and Karen Rosenfelt as a live-action/CG hybrid.

Faris will play a nature documentarian who follows the antics of a bear in fictional Jellystone Park. Aykroyd will voice Yogi, and Timberlake may voice Yogi’s companion, Boo Boo.

This sounds a lot like Alvin and the Chipmunks, and that was just terrible. I do love Anna Feris, she’s hilarious, but I don’t know if the is a good idea overall. We’ll have to wait and see.

Thoughts: This movie in its very basic concept seems like it would be mindless, but I must admit I think it looks like a lot of fun, especially in 3D. Not to mention the quality actors lending their voices to the film, this could be good.

Anna Faris (Housebunny) and her boyfriend, Chris Pratt tied the knot….. over a month ago!  Yes, on July 9th Anna went from Miss to Mrs.  She and Chris wanted a small, intimate ceremony  in Bali.

I think that’s totally romantic. Who needs all that craziness when all you want is to marry the person you love.  I think they were very smart.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Anna Faris was spotted today shopping in West Hollywood with a pair of short shorts on. I have to say that it looks like summer has sprung with everyone in their skimpy clothes and sandles.

Anna recently admitted that she wasn’t afraid to puke for a movie role she had.

“I did some vomiting in one of the Scary Movies. I’m experienced at it. I’ve done a little in real life as well. I think you have to embrace a lack of vanity. I think any comedy takes a bit of courage. You have be OK with people perceiving you as a pretty unintelligent person and you know, that’s OK. Maybe I am.”

I couldn’t even imagine having to do that infront of a whole crew of people. But I can gag so easy that maybe people would want me around to just for the shock value.

I think Anna is doing great for herself. Right now, she is starring in the movie Observe and Report.
