‘The Rite’ Trailer is Beyond Creepy

Here’s the creepy trailer for the upcoming horror film The Rite starring Anthony Hopkins.

Based on true events? Creepy! This movie looks downright disturbing, obviously not for the faint of heart. Anthony Hopkins hasn’t had a meaty role like this in a while, hope it’s actually good!

New ‘Wolfman’ Poster Shows Off the Full Beast!

The Wolfman

Here’s the latest poster for the upcoming horror remake The Wolfman.

Well this poster certainly puts it all out there, I can’t help but feel like this movie is going to be really bad. I really hope I’m wrong, but in any case I still don’t see any reason for it being made other than simply profit.

Kat Dennings Joins the Cast of ‘Thor’

Kat Dennings

Kat Dennings is the newest addition to the cast of the upcoming comic book film Thor.

Natalie Portman revealed to MTV this weekend that Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist) will have a role in director Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. She didn’t reveal what role Dennings will be playing, however.

Dennings is joining a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan Skarsgard, Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano and Idris Elba. The Marvel Studios adaptation will be released in theaters by Paramount Pictures on May 20, 2011.

The cast and director give me a lot of hope for this film, although when it was announced I was expecting junk. Every person they’ve added to the cast so far has made me happy. Hope the script is good!

This movie is going to be big, the cast is all ready to go. I actually have a lot more interest in this one now that Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins are involved.

Emily Blunt is Freaked Out on New ‘Wolfman’ Poster

Wolfman Poster

Here’s the newest poster for the upcoming film Wolfman starring Emily Blunt and Benicio Del Toro.

She looks scared, this movie just doesn’t look very scary. I have huge doubts about this one, I’m expecting it to be bad. Why else would they have pushed it’s release to mid February? Oh well, maybe I’ll be wrong.

Anthony Hopkins to Play the Father of ‘Thor’

hopkinsthor

Here’s some great news, Anthony Hopkins is set to star in the upcoming Marvel film Thor!

Hopkins will play Odin, the father of Thor and Loki. Chris Hemsworth is playing Thor, and Tom Hiddleston plays Loki. Kenneth Branagh will direct.

Natalie Portman is also set to play Thor’s love interest, Jane Foster.

Scripted by Mark Protosevich and Zack Stentz, pic tracks partly disabled med student Dr. Donald Blake’s discovery of his Norse god alter ego, the hammer-swinging Thor.

This movie is looking very promising, I really love Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman. Having an actor like Hopkins added to the cast instantly gives the movie a whole new level of credibility. The fact that it’s about a superhero with a giant hammer seems less and less of a concern.

New Woody Allen Film Gets a Title: ‘You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger’

slice_woody_allen_01

Woody Allen’s newest film finally has a title, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger. The film stars Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Naomi Watts, Gemma Jones, Lucy Punch, and Freida Pinto.

So today, months after the shoot has ended, it’s news that Woody Allen’s newest movie has a title. You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger, which sounds either like a prophecy or a threat, will be coming out in about a year.

It’s strange how long it takes for him to decide on a title to his films. I have no clue what this movie is about, but the cast is enough for my interest to be peaked.

New ‘Wolfman’ Trailer Much Better

wolfman

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming horror remake The Wolfman starring Benicio Del toro.

I wasn’t all that impressed with the previous trailer for this film, this one makes it look a lot better. I still don’t feel like this movie is pulling off anything new or exciting, but I love the cast. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

‘Wolfman’ Trailer With Benicio Del Toro

wolfman

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming Universal horror remake The Wolfman starring Benicio Del Toro.

This trailer really doesn’t impress me, you can’t just remake a film that started it’s own sub-genre and expect it to be as impressive when there have been hundreds of wherewolf movies since.
