Maria Shriver Will Definitely File For Divorce, Say Friends

Former First Lady of California Maria Shriver has told friends that she intends to file for divorce from husband Arnold Schwarzenegger following his public acknowledgement of his 14-year old love child Christopher Baena.

Friends had speculated that her Catholic faith would prevent her from actually divorcing, but sources now say:

“Maria absolutely will be filing for divorce…It’s not a matter of if Maria will file for divorce, but when.”

Meanwhile, TMZ has posted photos of Shriver attending Christopher’s baptism in 1998, smiling and posing with her own children, her husband, his mistress Mildred Baena, and baby Christopher.

How Maria hasn’t knocked Arnold out yet, I don’t know.   Wishing her luck through this ugly process.

See Arnold Schwarzenegger & Mildred ‘Patty’ Baena’s Love Child

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s recent admission to fathering a child with the family’s housekeeper of 20 years, MildredPattyBaena, have sent the star and his family, wife Maria Shriver and their four children Katherine, Cristina, Patrick and Christopher reeling.

But Arnold didn’t admit that he had another child freely. Maria had to ask Mildred about her suspicions to get a straight answer, according to RadarOnline.

“Maria has suspected this for a long time and she asked the housekeeper,” a source close to the situation told Radar. “The housekeeper admitted it.

“Maria then went to Arnold and he confessed.” He didn’t volunteer the information,  and it could have remained a secret if Maria hadn’t asked.

The child is the same age as Maria and Arnold’s youngest son, Christopher as Baena and Maria were pregnant at the same time.

Baena has a MySpace page up with photos of her and her son, and she hasn’t changed it to a private page. She says she’s a single mother who’s looking for a serious relationship.

There is definitely a resemblance between Arnold and the child, don’t you think?

Upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger Movies Halted

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s upcoming movie projects are on hold while the former California governor deals with his personal life.

Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger put his movie comeback on hold Thursday as he deals with fallout from his affair with his housekeeper and braces for what could be a costly divorce.

A statement from Schwarzenegger’s office said the former “Terminator” star has asked his talent agency to put all his motion picture projects that are currently under way or being negotiated on hold until further notice.

“Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines,” the statement said. “This includes ‘Cry Macho,’ the ‘Terminator’ franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides.”

All this news that has been surfacing in the last few days is definitely major for him. It makes perfect sense that he take the time to mend all the broken pieces in his life. Terminator 5 isn’t going to be out until 2014 anyway, so it’s not like this little break is going to hurt that schedule. Cry Macho is obviously going see a bit of a delay, but it’s not like he’s never going to come back. Hopefully he deals with all the issues and gets back to what he’s best at soon.

Maria Shriver Hires Top Celebrity Divorce Attorney

Maria Shriver is exploring her options and doing it with a very high-profile attorney.

Shriver, 55, has separated from her husband, Terminator actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, 63, after learning her husband had fathered a child with former household staff member MildredPattyBaena over a decade ago.

Celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser was hired by Shriver before the affair went public but the former California First Lady has not made up her mind what she wants to do.

“Maria hasn’t decided yet if she wants to end her marriage,” a source told People magazine. Shriver’s Roman Catholic faith is said to be one reason for her hesitation in seeking a divorce.

“This is a painful and heartbreaking time,” Shriver said in a statment. “As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”

Wasser’s clientele has included Kiefer Sutherland, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

Mildred Baena: Mother Of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Love Child Revealed

The identity of the mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s alleged love child has been revealed according to multiple reports.

Mildred Baena, a 50 year-old former housekeeper and assistant to the family for 20 years, is the mother to Arnold’s son.

The child is believed to be about 14 years-old and Baena and Schwarzenegger’s wife, Maria Shriver, are said to have been pregnant at the same time. Shriver would have been expecting the couple’s youngest child.

Baena’s MySpace page has several photos of the woman and her son, and on the social networking site, she claims to be ‘dating’ and ‘looking for a serious relationship.’

TMZ reports that Schwarzenegger paid Baena $1,200 a week and didn’t find out that he was the father until the child was a toddler. The website also reports the child’s age to be around 10 or 11.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Says He Fathered A Love Child, Why Maria Shriver Left Him

Arnold Schwarzenegger has come forward to say that he fathered a child with another woman and that is why Maria Shriver left him.

The former California Governor’s love child’s mother is a former member of their household staff who retired in January of 2011 after 20 years of employment with the family. The child was born over 10 years ago, before Schwarzenegger took public office, according to reports.

When Shriver found out, she moved out of their Brentwood estate and the couple are now separated. Schwarzenegger released a statement to the LA Times:

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” Schwarzenegger said Monday night. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

“I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time,” the statement concluded. “While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not. ”

Schwarzenegger came under scrutiny during the 2003 California recall election of then Governor Jerry Brown. Several women came forward with claims that the Terminator star had groped them. Shriver stood by her husband and he was elected to public office.

Arnold and Maria announced their separation last week with no reason given for the seemingly sudden turn of events.

It is being reported that Schwarzenegger has assumed financial responsibilty for the child since birth and that he has known of the paternity all along.

The staff member has refused to comment. There has been no statement from Shriver at this time either.

‘Terminator 5′ Moves Forward, Justin Lin Directing

Terminator 5 was announced recently, but until now hadn’t been secured and set to move forward. Now Justin Lin is attached to direct and the movie is definitely going to happen.

Megan Ellison has won an auction for the rights to make at least two more installments of The Terminator franchise, with Fast Five’s Justin Lin attached to direct and Arnold Schwarzenegger attached to star.

This movie series is certainly one of the most iconic in the entire history of film, it was only a matter of time before another one would be on the way. With  Schwarzenegger attached and now Justin Lin directing I’m sure the next film will be a better entry than Terminator Salvation was. The deal includes at least two more films so expect many more years of Terminator talk, Terminator 5 isn’t even out until 2014.

Arnold Schwarzenegger And Maria Shriver Separate

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver have announced their separation after 25 years of marriage.

Shriver, who reportedly moved out of their Brentwood home a few weeks ago, and Schwarzenegger released a joint statement Monday evening.

“This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us,” the statement reads. “After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship.

“We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public.”

Shriver, 55, and Schwarzenegger, 63, first met in 1977 when Tom Brokaw introduced the pair at a celebrity charity tennis tournament. They married in 1986.

The couple have four children together; Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher.

The couple is reportedly set to host Prince William and Kate Middleton when they visit California in July this year on William’s first official visit to the U.S. and Kate’s first trip ever to the States.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Will ‘Cry Macho’ Before ‘Terminator 5′

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t just dipping his toes back into hollywood, he’s doing a cannonball! Before shooting Terminator 5, he’ll start back with a new film called Cry Macho.

…for his first post-gubernatorial picture, he has picked Cry Macho, a drama to be directed by The Lincoln Lawyer‘s Brad Furman and produced by Al Ruddy, the producer of Oscar-winning movies like Million Dollar Baby and The Godfather. The plan, we’re told, is to shoot as early as this summer…

…The movie is based on the 1975 novel by the late N. Richard Nash (a playwright famous for The Rainmaker, he also wrote the Cry Macho screenplay before he died in 2000). This won’t be a throwback to Arnold’s heyday of silly action flicks: Schwarzenegger is said to want to utilize some acting muscles for his return to the big screen. He will play a damaged-goods horse trainer who’s just been ignominiously put out to pasture by his feckless boss. In exchange for some retirement money, the broken — and broke — horseman agrees to kidnap the boss’s 11-year-old son from his rich Mexican ex-wife. Things take an unexpected turn, however, when the ex-wife is all too glad to be rid of her juvenile delinquent.

I half expected Schwarzenegger to take steps towards some serious dramatic roles, but as everyone can see, he’s sticking to his action roots. I’m glad he’s not trying to do anything too dramatic actually, he’s probably the most definitive action star in the history of movies. Arnie needs to get all that action out of his system anyway, he’s not getting any younger!

He’s Back! Arnold Schwarzenegger Returning for ‘Terminator 5′

It’s official (almost) Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning for Terminator 5.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is attached to star in a rights package that CAA is shopping today that will revive The Terminator, one of Hollywood’s most iconic scifi franchises. The agency is dropping the package on studios this afternoon. I’m told that already, Universal, Sony and Lionsgate, and CBS Films are looking hard at the package. There is no screenwriter attached at this point, and Robert Cort is producing.

Schwarzenegger needs this to salvage his career after ‘governating’ for all this time. I’m glad he’s attached, It’s about time he got back to doing what he’s good at. I really hope they can bring this iconic franchise back from the poor and disjointed Terminator Salvation. Getting Arnold involved is probably one of the best ways to do it, you better get back to the gym Arnie!
