Jon Cryer Talks About Charlie Sheen: “Nobody Was Prepared For This”

Jon Cryer sat down with David Letterman last night and the talk show went right into the Charlie Sheen meltdown with Cryer.

“Boy, you’ve had an eventful six months, huh?” Letterman said to the Two and A Half Men star.

The Late Show host asked Cryer if he recalled when or how it all went so wrong and Cryer said he really didn’t know when it started, but he knew things were out of hand when he got an odd text from a friend.

“No, I don’t. It’s as much a mystery to me as everybody, I think,” the actor said. “My favorite moment… I got a text from somebody, I don’t remember who it was, saying Charlie Sheen just called Thomas Jefferson a p***y”

“I said ‘I think are getting out of hand.’”

Letterman made a great point – that things seemed tolerable to everyone until he started going after Two and A Half Men producer, Chuck Lorre.

In the end, Cryer was incredibly supportive of Sheen and wished him well.

Watch the video and tell us what you think.

Ashton Kutcher ‘Two And A Half Men’ Casting Is Like Winning ‘The Lottery’

Ashton Kutcher is very excited about his new gig on Two and A Half Men.

Joining the established comedy after Charlie Sheen and the powers that be had their infamous public falling out, CBS presented the new cast at the Upfronts held in New York City yesterday with Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones.

There was no mention of Sheen by the network whatsoever, including a clip reel of past seasons of the show without Charlie.

Kutcher, for his new part, is feeling the love.

“I’ve never, probably in my 13 years of show business, received more emails or calls congratulating me about getting a new job. I almost think I won the lottery,” he said. “Which I kind of did.”

Nina Tassler, CBS entertainment president, welcomed Kutcher officially saying “Deep cleansing breathe. “Well, it’s been an educational few months for us. Thanks to a tweet … we all learned the square root of 6.25.”

“We could not be happier to actor, producer and multimedia mogul Ashton Kutcher joining the cast of ‘Two And a Half Men.’”

The network did not reveal any character information or how they planned to write Charlie Sheen’s character off the show.

Ashton Kutcher Inks Deal For ‘Two And A Half Men’

Ashton Kutcher quietly inked a deal with CBS and Warner Bros. to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and A Half Men.

Deadline reports the No Strings Attached star will step into the show made famous (and infamous) by Sheen and work directly with Chuck Lorre, show runner and creator of the sitcom who had such a public (and brutal) falling out with Sheen.

Kutcher can bring a lot to the table. He has extensive television experience as both actor and producer on shows such as That 70s Show, Punk’d, The Beautiful Life and True Beauty.

The actor has a considerable twitter following as well and that could add up to more viewers. Kutcher tweeted a hint about joining the show.

“what’s the square root of 6.25?” he asked his 6.7 million followers. (2.5 if you haven’t figured it out yet.)

Lorre, Warner Bros. and Sheen’s nasty battle this past spring looked like it would end the successful TV show as it appeared too much of a minefield for any actor to want to step in and take on.

But behind the scenes, Lorre has been working to fill the role with someone he could get “excited” about in that role.

It was revealed just a few days ago that negotiations with Hugh Grant as the new Men star fell through but Lorre must’ve had a back-up plan all along.

Now how the format is retooled and Kutcher ends up fitting into the show will be interesting. Kutcher’s character will need to fill out the other Men in the show: Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones.

What do you think? Ready to give the show a try with someone else? Or still invested in Charlie Sheen as the right man for the job?

Natalie Portman & Ashton Kutcher At ‘No Strings Attached’ Premiere

The Natalie Portman/Ashton Kutcher new movie No Strings Attached held it’s Los Angeles premiere at the Regency Village Theater on Tuesday night.

Portman disguised her baby bump pretty well with a black retro halter maxi dress by Vena Cava with Tiffany black tassel and pearl earrings.

Kutcher was accompanied by his wife Demi Moore who chose a Carven dress with ruching through the middle, a cut out in the back and exposed zippers through the front.

Portman and Kutcher Half Naked with ‘No Strings Attached’ Poster

Here’s the brand new poster for the upcoming film No Strings Attached starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher.

A guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it’s not long before they learn that they want something more.

Wow, not exactly the most original idea here huh? I do love Natalie Portman, but this doesn’t sound appealing.

Wardrobe Malfunction! Demi Moore, What’s Wrong With Your Dress?!

Demi Moore and her youngin’ husband, Ashton Kutcher were at GQ’s The Gentlemen’s Ball in The Edison Ballroom in New York City last night.  I am not really feeling it with Demi’s dress.  It’s pretty fugly if I am being honest.  But the real problem is the bottom seam.  The dress is obviously really short.  But was it beyond short and Demi realized she’d be putting on a side show if she didn’t act quick?

Demi Moore, When Will Your Age Catch Up?

To me, it looks like she ripped out the bottom hem to make the dress  tad longer on her way to the event.  What do you think?  Just a horrible design or did Demi rip her dress?

Ashton Kutcher – Second Mistress Talks Sex – Photos

So how many women are going to have to come out of the woodwork before we really start believing that Ashton Kutcher is cheating on Demi Moore?  I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around the idea of it all.

The first cheating report was centered on a hot blonde female (details here.)  Now this new, alleged mistress has come forward with her sex story.

A 21-year-old brunette claims that she met Ashton while he was bowling at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood with Demi and the kids.  She ended slipping him her number on a napkin before she left.  Just days later, she says that she found herself having sex with Ashton on his couch…. in the house he share with Demi and the kids.  As if that wasn’t tacky enough, she adds,

“I felt totally comfortable in his arms,” she tells Star. “It was tender and nice — not some random sex act.”

Disgusting.  Seriously.  Really?  Is this true?  Say it ain’t so….please?
