Avril Lavigne was out shopping at the Burton Snowboards Flagship Store on Melrose Avenue sporting a tough bra.  Her sheer sweatshirt showed off her skull and cross bones bra, which I am sure was the point.

OMG!  I was already a bit surprised by the recent make out session (photos here)  between Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner.  But, hey… they are young, single, and Brody likes a variety of notches on his bed post right?  But hello!  Tattoos?  Yes, tattoos. Brody and Avril were at the opening party for Mario Barth’s King Ink down in Las Vegas this weekend where the PDA was abundant.  Before the night was over, they were getting tattoos.  Avril got a 30 with a lightning bolt through it on her wrist and Brody got a matching lightning bolt below his ear.

It’s just so permanent and this fling is so NOT permanent.

It’s only been a few months since Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley officially split (September 2009), but both are moving on with their love lives. Deryck has already stepped out with a new girl, and Avril has been getting cozy with Wilmer Valderrama.

“They have been friends since working together on Fast Food Nation in 2005, but things heated up last month,” an insider tells Life & Style. “One of their first dates was Oct. 29 at Nobu in West Hollywood.”

“She had her hand on his knee and they were whispering in each other’s ear, laughing,” says a witness. “They even closed the club, sneaking out just after 2.”

Wait, Avril and Wilmer? I would never have seen that combination coming together.  So what do you think?  Is Wilmer an upgrade from Deryck?

Friday night it was on.  Deryck Whibley hasn’t wasted any time moving on from his wife, Avril Lavigne.  It hasn’t even been a month since they decided to end it and Deryck is hooking up with a new girl.

Who’s Deryck new ‘thing’ you ask?  None other than Hanna Beth Merjos.  She is a model/designer who spent a lot of time with Deryck in Sin City.  They started off at The Mirage and finished their night at around 3 am in the Jet Nightclub.

I can only imagine how hurt Avril must be. You can’t go out like that with another woman before the other side of the bed has cooled.  It’s selfish and hurtful.

What do you think?  Is Deryck free to do what he wants since they called it quits or is this a low blow?

Avril Lavigne and her soon to be ex, Deryck Whibley are officially in the process of getting a divorce and have left us all wondering what went wrong in their relationship.

Apparently, Avril wants to spread her wings and Deryck was somewhat holding her back…

“She married too young and she finally realized that,” says a source. “Avril realized she needs her own life and needs to explore things without him.”

The couple has been having problems for about 6 months but no one was cheating.  Deryck has already moved out of their home in Bel Air.  I wonder if Avril will sell the place or stay in it?  I couldn’t stay.  Too many memories.

Avril Lavigne attended the 16th annual Race to Erase MS Gala at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City.   Is it just me, or is she finally looking pregnant for reals?  Or is it the dress?  Which I pretty much love, by the way, but the belt does kind of cut poor little Avril in the middle.  I dunno.  Her boobs look rather larger than normal too… and there was the whole baggy hoodie fixation last month.

Could be…. we’ll just have to wait and see…

Pop/punk fans have smartened up since the debut of Avril Lavigne, and even though she’s maintained somewhat of a fan base, it’s safe to say she’s nowhere near being as successful as she once was.  Well, according to the somewhat newlwed’s Myspace blog, she’s snagged a gig as the Canadian Ambassador for the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China.

On Friday, I was in Vancouver and honored as the Canadian Ambassador for 2010 World Expo, Shanghai, China. It’s really exciting as it’s the first time China has ever hosted World Expo and the theme is “Better City, Better Life”. It’s really cool that over 200 countries and international organizations are coming together at World Expo, Shanghai to create a better future for the world. I’ve played 2 shows in Shanghai. It’s a great city and i look forward to visiting again next year. Avril.

Now the real question: can homegirl stop dressing like it’s two thousand and late?
