X-Men: First Class

The big highlight this week is definitely X-Men: First Class, one of my favorite movies of the summer. It’s my favorite of all the X-Men movies and well worth buying. Hanna is also out this week, which was also a good film. And don’t forget the Scarface limited editions that are coming out, a must have for true fans.

This week’s highlight is the new sci-fi comedy Paul starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Seth Rogen and Kristen Wiig! I haven’t gotten the chance to see it yet, but it’s supposed to be really funny. Other than that the only other releases worth mentioning are The Lookout (excellent film) and the modern classic Dazed and Confused.

This week’s highlight is Source Code starring Jake Gylenhaal. It’s a great sci-fi thriller that takes you on a fast paced ride with great performances and solid direction. If you didn’t catch it in theaters it should be at the top of your rental list! Avoid Dylan Dog: Dead of Night like I did, it only got a 3% on Rotten Tomatoes! That may be the worst score of the year.
