Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie At The 2012 SAG Awards

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie both wore black to the 2012 SAG Awards on Sunday night.   Angelina chose a halter dress by Jenny Packham that was just about as uninteresting as Jennifer Aniston‘s DGA dress.  (Oh dear, I just pitted Angelina and Jen against each other… that was a cheap one, wasn’t it?)

Most folks don’t care what designers the men wear, but in case you’re curious, Brad’s suit is by Balenciaga.

Angelina Jolie Keeps Her Wild Side Alive With Brad Pitt

The darker side of Angelina Jolie has often been a subject of speculation throughout her years in the Hollywood spotlight.

She has been known to wear a vial of blood (when she was married to actor Billy Bob Thornton,) shared a kiss with her brother at the Oscars that raised eyebrows and has admitted to a fascination with knives when she was younger but now Jolie tells 60 Minutes she’s “lucky” to have gotten through those times alive.

“I went through heavy darker times and I survived them,” the Oscar winner said. “I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things.”

Correspondant Bob Simon asked for more specifics she replied:

“I was hoping you’d miss that!” laughed Jolie. “Nothing I want to go into a lot of detail about but I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst—and for many reasons I shouldn’t be here.”

But Jolie isn’t leaving that side of herself behind completely, she just knows how to channel it now and shares it with her partner and the father of her six children, Brad Pitt.

“You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far,” Jolie said. “I’m still a bad girl. I still have that side of me…It’s just in its place now…it belongs to Brad. Or…our adventures.”

The actress is talking about her life and her directorial debut In The Land of Milk and Honey. Jolie’s interview airs Sunday, November 27th on CBS.

Brad Pitt Says He’s Going To Retire At Age 50 But Might Have More Kids With Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt says his days as a leading man are numbered.

The 47 year-old is thinking of retiring from acting by the age of 50 and perhaps dabbling more in the behind-the-scenes areas of filmmaking.

“Three years,” he told the Australian version of 60 Minutes. “Hell if I know [what I'll do next]. I’m really enjoying the producorial side and development of stories, and putting those pieces together, and getting those stories to the plate that might have had a tougher time otherwise.”

Pitt also said his children with partner Angelina Jolie influence the projects he picks. The father of six – Maddox, 10, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3 years-old – wants his kids to be proud of their dad.

“If I’m choosing a film now, I want it to be maybe less immature than things I’ve done in the past. I’m very conscious they’re going to see it when they’re adults. I want it to mean something to them. I want them to think dad’s alright. It changes everything. Everything. And it’s so damn interesting,” Pitt said.

While he isn’t happy about the level of attention his family gets (“It’s the only thing I get hot about, that I’m ready to fight about,” he told the program,) the Moneyball actor knows his kids have a life of privilege that he’s happy they get to experience and says there is a possibility of more Jolie-Pitt offspring in the future.

“I don’t know that we’re finished. I don’t know yet. I don’t know,” he said.

Brad Pitt’s ‘World War Z’ Set Warehouse Raided By Hungarian SWAT Team

Brad Pitt is starring in and his Plan B production company is producing the zombie apocalypse film World War Z which just ran into some true modern day troubles – an Anti-Terrorism Task Force.

A SWAT team from the Hungarian authorities raided a Budapest warehouse and seized weapons marked for use on the film however 85 automatic guns with documentation labeling them as non-functional were in working condition.

Hajdu Janos and Zsolt Bodnar, the director and deputy director of Hungary’s Anti-Terrorism Unit, told Us Weekly: “Guns like these are highly illegal to transport even if they were to used as stage guns, which hopefully they weren’t.”

Pitt, 47, is not happy. His film is already over budget and the delay could be time consuming and costly, especially if they are fined.

World War Z has spent much of the summer filming in Glasgow, Scotland where Pitt and his family with Angelina Jolie have been spending time.

WWZ is slated for release in December of 2012.

Angelina Jolie & Gwen Stefani Get The Kids Together For Primrose Playdate

Famous pals Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani met up for a playdate at Stefani’s home in the Primrose Hill area of London.

Jolie, 36, brought four of her children for the afternoon of fun. Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt enjoyed the afternoon with Kingston and Zuma Rossdale.

Angelina sent her bodyguard out for some take out food for the kids at Wagamama’s restaurant and as they left, it was apparent the kids had some face painting time with the two celeb moms.

Stefani, 41, and her husband, singer Gavin Rossdale, had some curious (and famous) neighbors peeking out their windows to see what the commotion was all about.

Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver‘s wife Jools was photographed with her daughter trying to see what the commotion was going on outside.

Angelina and the kids are in the UK while her partner and the kids’ father Brad Pitt films the zombie apocalypse movie World War Z.

Brad Pitt Wants You To Know He Was Dull & Boring – Not Jennifer Aniston

The never ending saga of Jennifer Aniston/Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie triangle was entered into again, this time by Brad himself.

Whether he meant to or not, Pitt gave the impression he felt his life was uninspired when he was married to the Horrible Bosses star.

“I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony,” he told Parade magazine. “I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic.”

“It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself,” Pitt continued. “I think that my marriage [to Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”

This caused a backlash towards the actor whose words many interpreted to put his marriage to Aniston in a negative light.

Pitt released another statement to clarify that he wasn’t referring to his time with Jennifer as being dull but that he was the one who became pedestrian.

“It grieves me that this was interpreted this way,” Pitt said. “Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself – and that, I am responsible for.”

I think Pitt lives in a pretty isolated world to not understand that his original statement would be seen the way it was. He connects his dissatisfaction with his marriage, but he does not ever say it was Jennifer that was the cause.

It almost seems to me he’s trying to say he loved Jen but wasn’t in love with her or the life they had together. That happens to many people.

How do you see it?

Angelina Jolie Says There Is No Secret Wedding, No Pregnancy And No Adoptions Planned

Angelina Jolie talks to Vanity Fair for the October issue and sets the record straight about her life and her upcoming directorial debut, In The Land of Blood and Honey.

On her personal life: “There is no secret wedding… I’m not pregnant. I’m not adopting at the moment,” she said, quashing the rumors.

On why she chose to direct Blood and Honey: “It was something I didn’t trust out of my hands,” she explains. “So by default I ended up putting myself in as director.”

On Brad Pitt’s support for her and the project: “He’d come in and say what he liked or what he didn’t understand. Like any woman, I would listen to most of it and fight a few things. He’s been so supportive. But it’s hard to separate the person that loves you from the critic, so I don’t think he’s a fair judge.”

The Angelina issue is on sale for NYC and LA September 1st and nationwide you can find it on newsstands September 6th.

Brad Pitt Rescues An Extra On ‘World War Z’

Brad Pitt came to the rescue of an extra who fell while filming World War Z on August 25th.

The woman was among the hundreds of extras filming a chaotic war scene when she stumbled and was headed for the ground. The scene was so crazy, if she had fallen, it was possible she could’ve been trampled in the confusion.

The 47 year-old actor’s quick thinking kept the woman from ending up with more than a scraped up knee.

“It was total chaos as 700 extras were trying to get down the street – they were banging into moving cars, cameras and military who were carrying heavy machine guns,” a set source told The Scottish Sun. “Lots of people hurt themselves, and Brad came to the rescue of a woman who slipped.”

“I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up. He didn’t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot,” the insider continued. “But she said afterward how grateful she was, despite having a badly-grazed knee.”
