On October 25, Brad Pitt and his beard took to the streets of L.A. on his favorite motorcycle, and ended up in a little fender bender. While the father of six was fine, he said that it was his ego that got a little bruised from the crash.

“I had a little mishap,” he said at an Inglourious Basterds event in Tokyo on Wednesday. “No injuries, except my ego. I was trying to get away from some paparazzi and instead gave them a good story.

“It was my favorite bike, so that is really sad,” he added.

Oh those paparazzi. Brad should know that they always win. Especially in Los Angeles. There’s no escaping them if you’re famous.

At least he has a sense of humor about it all.

Angelina Jolie reportedly is so mad at Brad Pitt for lapsing into “middle aged schlubbiness” and growing a beard that she’s resorted to name calling.

Their “friend” says that she has started calling him “Billy Goat Gruff” in order to “shame him into getting rid of” his facial hair.  Supposedly she can’t even stand kissing him anymore.

His beard really has grown pretty long.  Just this summer it was much more trimmed and neat looking.  But he still looks good to me - if the man wants to grow a beard, let him grow a beard.   And honestly, can you really believe a story told by a so-called friend to a tabloid?

That’s right there’s a sequel already in the works for the upcoming film Sherlock Holmes. Rumor has it that Brad Pitt may play the legendary Sherlock Holmes villain Moriarty in the sequel!

Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of Sherlock Holmes won’t hit the big screen until Christmas, but Warner Bros is already developing a sequel.

According to Risky Business, Kieran and Michele Mulroney have been hired to pen a draft for a continuation. The brother screenwriting team wrote the imaginary Superhero coming-of-middle-age dramedy Paper Man which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival and the dumped DC Comics live-action film Justice League: Mortal. Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham, Lionel Wigram and Simon Kinberg all worked on the screenplay for the first film.

This isn’t surprising news as the project has been groomed as a potential franchise. Last month, it was rumored that Brad Pitt had filmed some scenes as Holmes’ nemesis Moriarty during a set of secret reshoots, but Warner Bros denied these claims. The character does make a breif cameo appearance in the first film, setting up a potential sequel, but those who know claim the character remains in the shadows and cannot be recognized.

We assumed the previous rumor was a complete fabrication but, The Hollywood Reporter now claims that Brad Pitt has in fact had discussions with producers to play Moriarty in the developing sequel, though there is no deal in place as of yet. Pitt starred in Ritchie’s second feature film Snatch.

If these rumors turn out to be true, it would be an instant mega-hit, undoubtedly. Brad Pitt obviously has the star power, but him playing a major villain like this would be an even bigger draw. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see with fingers crossed.

Brad Pitt has reportedly spent $82,000 on a custom-designed home for his kids’ pet gerbils.   Ridiculous, right? At first I thought it could possibly be true, though… after all, Brad spent a hell of a lot last year on some bizarre furniture and rugs.  And plus, he’s freakin’ Brad Pitt - he has enough money to spend as much of it as he wants, however he wants, right?

But then I read the description of the gerbil habitat, supposedly designed by Brad himself.  It includes:

labyrinths, tunnels, multiple platforms, seesaws and heated swimming pools

And honestly, they had me until the swimming pool part.  Gerbils are desert animals and they don’t like to swim!  Silly celebrity gossip.   Wait, what?  Me?  No!  See, I don’t make UP anything.  I just report on what I hear.  I’m not that creative!

Maddox Jolie-Pitt is just eight years old, but evidently he’s old enough to understand tabloid headlines.  He’s apparently seen too much of the gossip rags talking trash about his parents, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and “has been asking a lot of questions.”

So, according to the Chicago Sun-Times‘ source, this is why Brad has been giving interviews everywhere lately.  Even though Maddox and sibs

‘’see the true, loving relationship Angie and Brad have with each other [and] they really don’t think their personal lives are anyone’s business, I think by putting out positive stories about their relationship, they believe it will make their son happy.  They want to give him some headlines that are true and will settle him down.”

I’m sorry, but that’s ridiculous.  First of all, how frequently are the kids out at the grocery store or other places where they see these headlines with any regularity?  Second, there is no guarantee that “positive” stories will result from any interview.  Third, does Brad really think that saying you should “take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts” instead of your own wife’s butt is a positive reflection of his relationship, and a model he wants to offer to his son?    I don’t usually believe “sources” but this one is particularly lacking in credibility.

It must be a day ending in ‘Y’ because we have a new Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston rumor.  This one is a little more interesting, Jennifer may be thinking she’s pregnant.  So who does she call to tell?  Her ex-husband Brad of course.

“Brad could tell right away by Jen’s voice that something was wrong,” a source said. “That’s when Jen confided she was late on her monthly cycle and thought she might be pregnant, before asking Brad point blank how he felt about it.

“He calmly told her that if it was true, it wasn’t a bad thing; that she should just stay calm and look at everything as sensibly as possible”

Jen has recently been linked to Bradley Cooper and co-star Gerard Butler. Now why would she be asking Brad how he felt about it? Is it just because they really are friends still? An insider said it could be more sinister than that.

“Brad’s a very trusting guy, but he’s being warned by friends that Jen’s baby revelation could be a ploy to keep him on the hook emotionally, because deep in her heart, he’s the man she really wants to share her life with,” said the insider.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens, as with all the rest of the Jennifer Aniston baby rumors.

Last week, Angelina Jolie made a trip to Iraq, and Jordan, visiting a refugee camp and the military based at Camp Liberty. Angelina didn’t go alone, as an early 8th birthday present, she brought along her oldest son, Maddox. But the idea of their son going to Iraq didn’t sit well with daddy Brad Pitt. He was said to be very upset at the idea of Maddox headed to a war torn area, where Angelina even donned a protective vest.

“He told her that it’s no place for a child Maddox’s age,” the associate explains. “But she insisted it wasn’t dangerous and took him anyway.” …

“He called her irresponsible,” explains the associate. “He had told her taking Maddox to Iraq was ridiculously dangerous, but she disrespected his wishes and went anyway.”

Angelina, never being one to hide her opinion, fired back at Brad.

“She said Brad’s ignorance about how dangerous Iraq is underlines why she should take trips there with Maddox - so he can know better.”

The fight escalated until they were “both talking and screaming at the same time,” the associate says, adding that while “Angie finally backed down,” the pair slept in separate bedrooms that night and have barely spoken since.

A friend of the family goes on to say that this was the first big fight they’ve had over how to raise the kids.

“They’re keeping things civil for the sake of the kids, but their relationship has pretty much dissolved into nothing more than co-parenting.”

This is definitely NOT your average fight a couple would be having about their kids. It’s not every day you can take your kids to see the military and a refugee camp.

Brad Pitt will always be a babe.  That’s just how it is.  He was in Berlin for a photo call and the premiere of Inglorious Basterds today (July 28th).  This film has been making waves since the first word of it broke.  Quentin Tarantino is amazing and his work speaks for itself.

There were some very happy Brad Pitt fans out there in Germany, check out the look on those girl’s faces.  I think they are in shock.  I would be too.  He’s just too hot!

Here’s the international version of the Inglourious Basterds trailer starring Brad Pitt.

This version doesn’t show much more, but it certainly gives a good feel for the comedic aspects of the film. Tarantino has a knack for dark humor, he’s just never applied it to WWII situations.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been worried about the health of their younger children, twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, who will celebrate their first birthday on July 12. According to Life& Style, Brangelina have submitted their twins to various medical tests and have been keeping them hidden from the public eye because of their infinite allergies.

“Knox has trouble holding down his food. He spits up nearly every meal.” Vivienne, meanwhile, has food and environmental allergies, explains the insider: “Right now, she’s on a lactose and gluten-free diet, and she’s still underweight.”

“Because of their delicate state, Knox and Vivienne need to be kept away from anything they could possibly be allergic to,” the insider explains. “That’s a lot easier to do when they’re home and in a controlled environment.”

Again tabloids are just exaggeration and blowing this out of proportion. The twins are still young, they probably can’t even walk yet… what are people expecting to see? Vivienne and Knox might be very special babies but they aren’t super babies. I think Brangelina is right to keep them home and away from the media’s scrutiny.
