There were some amazing performances last night, some great winning moments, beautiful fashion statements, and then there was Britney Spears.  Brit, Brit, Brit.  What on earth possessed you to wear that awful “dress”?

Britney Spears has won the Worst Dressed title for the 2010 Grammy Awards.  With her man, Jason Trawick at her side, Britney took the red carpet by “ugly” storm wearing a see-through, black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress over a bodysuit, paired with fishnet stockings, Penny Preville earrings and studded Brian Atwood pumps.  Aggg!

Maybe now I know why Britney Spears looked so horrible yesterday (photos here).  The judge had just decided to extend her conservatorship.

Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears is going to continue to receive a $16,000/month salary for his duties. The co-conservator, Andrew Wallet  also made bank, receiving $174,569.10 for all his ‘hard’ work from July 2009 to November 2009.  Good grief!

To top it off, Brit had to pay up $300,000 in lawyer fees.  How lovely for her.  I am guessing that Britney was really hoping to have her freedom back. Hopefully in another 6 to 12 months she will be able to break free from her mooching father.

OMG.  I cannot believe these pictures.  It’s like looking at a younger version of Pamela Anderson, the TRAIN WRECK! Agggg! Britney Spears was in New York City catching a plane at JFK airport when she was photographed looking like hell.  Honestly, what is she thinking?  Britney Spears is in the middle of a huge comeback, you can’t go out in public like that! You have a fresh, new image to uphold.  That hair, those glasses, it’s all wrong.   Britney is far too young for this.  I love you to death, Brit!  Get your stylist on it quick!

One pop star isn’t enough for the cover of Elle, so this month they offer up two:  Britney Spears and Lady Gaga both appear on covers of Elle’s January 2010 issue.

I don’t think I’m feeling either of these covers.  Lady Gaga looks like a very tired Madonna circa 1992.  And Brit-Brit is super cute with Jayden and Sean, but Elle is a fashion magazine, and this is not a fashion image.   It’s a PR shot if anything.

These snaps totally made me laugh. Britney Spears just celebrated her 28th birthday yesterday (December 2) and she kicked off her day with some shopping.  Where else but Fred Segal in West Hollywood.  LOVE that shop! She even had her man, Jason Trawick with her for the fun.  When you see the pictures (below) you notice that Brit went into Fred Segal with her hair down, then when she exits, she’s got her hair up and covered with a hat and some goofy glasses on!  Ha!  I don’t know if she really believed that would throw the paps, but it certainly didn’t work.

Congrats to Britney Spears.  The Billboard Hot 100 comes out tomorrow (October 15th) and Brit’s hitting the top at number 1.  For the first time in over 3 years, a song will debut at number 1 and Brit gets that honor.

‘3′ is Britney Spears’ hot new track centered on a 3-way.  Hmmmm…..  This song will be featured on her upcoming ‘hits’ album, The Singles Collection that comes out on November 24th. ‘3′ already had 255,000 downloads in it’s first week!

We’ve all been saying this Circus Tour and album was Britney’s big comeback.  I think we were very right.

Congrats again, Brit.  You have earned it!

Britney Spears may have had her 50/50 custody of her children extended while she continues on with her Circus Tour, but she’s already making plans for when it wraps up. Britney is preparing to file the paperwork to get full custody of her two sons, Preston and Jayden, because she is afraid they are picking up bad habits from their father, Kevin Federline.

A source says, “She is ready to fight to get her boys back. Britney feels that leaving Kevin in charge has turned her sons into cursing, ill-mannered little boys who don’t behave. Britney wants to be the one who chooses where the boys go to school and where they go to church. She wants full custody and for Kevin to have visitation.

Britney feels that Kevin is now the one with problems that the judge needs to hear about. She believes he’s become a poor role model for Sean and Jayden. The boys are used to Kevin’s foul-mouthed, lazy, unemployed dancer friends, who either live at the house or hang out there.

Britney doesn’t want the boys growing up thinking that kind of lifestyle is acceptable”.

I can kind of see where Britney is coming from on this one. Kevin doesn’t seem to be the best example for anyone’s kids let alone his own.  But, doesn’t she spend the same amount of time with her sons, too? I mean she’s come a long way in the past two years, granted, but I don’t see Britney as the tea drinking church going mother the source is making her out to be.
