This morning on Good Morning America, it was announced that Brooke Burke is going to be the new co-host on Dancing With The Stars. Brooke put in her ‘time’ on the show so she’s going to have lots of sympathy for the contestants.

This is true. BUT, personally would have preferred Melissa Rycroft who was in the running for the job. Oh well. Congrats to you Brooke. I am sure you will do a great job. See you March 22nd for the premiere!

Brooke Burke a hot mommy of four did this photo shoot for Razor magazine. I have to admit, I am insanely jealous that she looks amazing. (Although, I do see a bit of photoshopping.). Brooke recently won on Dancing With The Stars and says that her babies are more important to her right now instead of dancing.
“I will probably host another show. I just want to make sure it is something that I am passionate about. I am really spending a lot of time on my Internet business because I am passionate about motherhood.”
Brooke’s internet business is baboshbaby.com. It has a line of post pregnancy wraps that can help you lose weight faster. And I from following her blog on the site that she used it after her pregnancies and they obviously worked on her.
She also commented on who she would like to see on the new season of the show that starts on March 9.
“I think it is really important that they find people without dance experience. I think that keeps it fair. I don’t have any idea who they are hoping for.”
I agree with her there. It seems like the people they are picking are way too talented. We want to see people hurting!!

The queen of the dance, Brooke Burke, found out what it was like to be a lowly normal contestant on Dancing with the Stars last night. Her first dance, the jitterbug, earned her straight 7s… At this point in the game, that’s a major ouch. The fact that she went for a major lift in the semi-finals definitely rubbed Carrie Ann the wrong way, and her technique was horrible. She came back with a vengeance, looking like a completely different dancer for the salsa, scoring a 29.
Lance Bass was the star of the evening, with a 28 mambo and 29 jitterbug. His total score of 57 was eight points higher than the stars who tied for second, Burke and Warren Sapp (who could charm the pants off anyone). Cody Linley‘s cheesiness is slowing killing him and he brought up the rear with a total of 46.
Unfortunately, Julianne Hough‘s days look numbered, but she will be performing on tonight’s results show- not dancing, singing.

The top 2 dancers for yet another week on Dancing with the Stars were Brooke Burke and Warren Sapp. In the video intro, we saw Derek Hough and Brooke really getting into it, with Brooke even walking out of rehearsal. Ouch! But they brought beauty and elegance to their Vienesse Waltz and scored a 28, with a perfect 10 from Len Goodman. Warren showed his softer side and proved to be a real contender in the competition. Who knew a huge man like that could glide across the floor? He got a 25. Lacey Schwimmer and Lance Bass finally went the fully traditional route and even showcased their dance at a nursing home to make sure it was old-fashioned enough, but Len thought Lance was flat-footed and had bad frame…They still managed to score 22. Cloris Leachman was once again dead last with a whopping 16… Maybe it’s finally her time to go!

No big shocker here… Comedian Jeffrey Ross and partner Edyta Sliwinska were the first couple to get kicked off this season of Dancing with the Stars. I was pretty surprised with his graciousness and humility throughout the whole thing. Unlike Cloris Leachman, he was never rude or inappropriate. On Good Morning America this morning, Edyta publicly apologized for hurting his eye and he wanted no part of the apology. He was just happy to get to be part of the show. And the producers are even going to let them perform the second routine he learned on tonight’s show. Edyta and Jeffrey tried to keep it in the family by urging viewers to vote for her hubby, Alec Mazo and partner Toni Braxton.
Cloris Leachman got the worst score of the night with a 16/30, while Brooke Burke brought home the bacon with a 26/30! Once again, Kim Kardashian was at the bottom of the pack, proving to be the biggest diappointment for me so far this season.

Here’s the 411 on Derek Hough‘s new partner on Dancing with the Stars, Brooke Burke.
A host, actress, entrepreneur and celebrity mom, Brooke Burke has truly done it all. She has graced numerous magazine covers, has her own top-selling swimsuit calendars, and is regularly ranked in men’s magazines as one of the sexiest women in the world. Recognized worldwide as host of the hit travel series Wild On!, Brooke has since hosted several high profile network series, including Rock Star: INXS and Rock Star: Supernova. On the acting front, she has guest-starred on such television series as Las Vegas, Less Than Perfect, Eve, It’s All Relative, The Bernie Mac Show, Monk, Rock Me Baby and That’s Life. For the first time ever, all thirteen teams must prepare two routines for the first week of competition, one of which they’ll perform on Monday night. The judges will score the performances on Monday while the viewers cast their votes for their favorites. Only twelve will have the chance to showcase their second dance on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (9:00-10:0 p.m., ET). In dramatic style on Tuesday’s show, one couple will be eliminated as the remaining contestants perform their second dance of the season. The judges will score the dances on Tuesday and the viewers will once again cast their votes before a second duo is dismissed WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).
Here are some of the more exciting couplings…
In news that I am VERY excited about, So You Think You Can Dance Season 3 finalist Lacey Schwimmer will be joining the cast of professional dancers and will be partnered with Lance Bass. Derek Hough’s girlfriend and former dance partner, Shannon Elizabeth, was probably upset when she heard he would be paired with uber hottie Brooke Burke. A couple that I anticipate a lot of passion from is chef Rocco Dispirito and Karina Smirnoff. She has a history of hooking up with her partners. Will it happen again? Former fastest man in the world, Maurice Green, will be with two time champion Cheryl Burke.
Kim Kardashian, reality TV hottie and girlfriend of NFL star Reggie Bush, will be dancing with defending champ Mark Ballas, whose father is also joining the professional dance crew. Julianne Hough will be the older woman for the first time in four seasons as she dances with Hannah Montana star Cody Linley. Two time Olympic gold-medalist Misty May-Treanor now joins a new teammate, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who returns for his fifth season. Those are two strong-minded people, which makes for great television.

For all you reality tv junkies out there, here are the premiere dates for the new season of reality shows.
Of course, some shows have already started. The Hills is on MTV Mondays at 10, followed by My Super Sweet Sixteen Presents: Exiled. Making the Band 4 comes on MTV Tuesdays at 9. And good ole’ Big Brother still airs on CBS Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights!
