Oscars 2012: Who Took Home An Academy Award

The 84th Annual Academy Awards were held in Hollywood at the Kodak Theatre (or as host Billy Crystal quipped – the Chapter 11 Theater) on Sunday night and there were few surprises.

Crystal was his usual affable, likable self; the ratings were up slightly from last year but there were no really big wow moments to the 2012 Oscars.

The biggest winners of the night were Martin Scorsese‘s Hugo and Michel HazanaviciusThe Artist – each taking 5 wins, although The Artist won the biggest nods of Best Director, Best Feature and Best Leading Actor among it’s accolades.

The Help star Octavia Spencer had a very sweet moment at the podium when she was genuinely overcome with emotion as she accepted her Best Supporting Actress gold statue.

Chistopher Plummer and Meryl Streep were also very engaging during their thank you speeches and Jean Dujardin shared a moment with Uggie, the Jack Russell terrier of The Artist that has become a fan favorite.

Viola Davis and George Clooney were hot contenders for Best Actress and Actor categories, respectively, but both walked away empty handed.

Among the presenters for the evening: Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hanks, Cameron Diaz, Tina Fey, Michael Douglas, Bradley Cooper, Chris Rock, Melissa Leo, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph and Emma Stone.

Cameron Diaz Proves She’s Still Choice Among Teens

Cameron Diaz walked the blue carpet of the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night for the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.

The 38 year-old actress wore a dull beige strapless mini by ALC and strappy heels from Burak Uyan. Cameron’s dress and hair were so similar she was just one bland shade head to toe.

Diaz’s fashion pick wasn’t stellar but she proved worthy of the not-really-just-teenagers vote and nabbed a surfboard for Choice Movie Actress Comedy for her role in Bad Teacher.

Cameron Diaz & Justin Timberlake ‘Bad Teacher’ Premiere

The former lovers were reunited but only for the walk down the black carpet; Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake hit the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City for the premiere of their film Bad Teacher on Monday, June 20th.

Diaz, 38, was on-fire hot in her super-short, see-through Chanel knit dress. If there was ever any doubt, Cammy has killer legs!

The actress, who relished playing the super-sexy teacher, told MTV that her character Elizabeth was completely wrong for teaching.

“The wardrobe is really good. Elizabeth is a working girl, if you know what I mean,” she laughed. “So she has to look a certain way: She’s always either coming in from the night before or going out and she never wants to be mistaken as a teacher and she wears [Christian] Louboutins every day of her life and she just doesn’t belong in school.”

Timberlake, 30, opted for a black Simon Spurr suit with lapel detail for the premiere and said it wasn’t awkward working with his ex on screen.

“We think the world of each other,” Timberlake admitted. “[I] thought it could be a lot of fun and so, we just jumped in and did it.”

Cameron Diaz At 2011 MTV Movie Awards

Cameron Diaz never misses a chance to look totally hot and she showed that perfectly at last night’s 2011 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.

Diaz, 38, showed her sexy legs off in a killer short Phillip Lim jumpsuit with strappy sandals from Lanvin.

The Bad Teacher actress hung with her costar Jason Segal in the press room after they presented little Alexys Nycole Sanchez with the award for Best Line in a Movie.

Cameron Diaz’s Sexy & Sunny Cosmopolitan Cover

Age-defying Cameron Diaz is sexy and showing some side-boob in a racy snakeskin top. The Bad Teacher actress shares her thoughts on getting older and living life on her terms.

“I think you get better as you age. You know what you want, and you become stronger mentally, emotionally and physically,” she tells Cosmopolitan‘s June issue.

“But also, things have happened recently that have pushed me to grow. My father died, and having gone through that really made me think about my life and how I want to live it.”

“I don’t care what other people think,” the Charlie’s Angels star proclaimed. “It’s my life, and I live it the way I want to.”

Drew Barrymore enjoys both sides of Cameron and their friendship is still tight because she’s up for anything.

“She’s my sister, but we bro out and have crazy adventures. I always know that she is game,” Drew said. “Most people don’t know this, but she’s very edgy. That has been a big part of our friendship, knowing that she will throw down at any time as well as that sisterly, cozy, nurturing love that we have.”

Cameron Diaz Says Marriage Is A Dying Institution

She ranked number four on Maxim’s Hot 100 list but nabbed the cover for the June issue anyway (and it makes you wonder why she wasn’t number one.)

Cameron Diaz tells the magazine that marriage just isn’t relevant in the modern world.

When asked if she thought marriage was a dying institution, Diaz, said, “I do. I think we have to make our own rules. I don’t think we should live our lives in relationships based off of old traditions that don’t suit our world any longer.”

Diaz said that her relationship with the NY Yankees Alex Rodriguez was “awesome” and shares a tip for keeping things spicy with your mate.

“One should dry-hump as much as possible,” Diaz insisted. “It leads to great things. I’d prescribe at least once per day. What’s also nice about dry humping is that it can happen anywhere.”

Diaz’ next film, Bad Teacher, reunites her with old flame Justin Timberlake and is in theaters June 24th.

Cameron Diaz Has Her Legs Up for First ‘Bad Teacher’ Poster

Here’s the first poster for the upcoming comedy Bad Teacher starring Cameron Diaz.

This poster doesn’t sell this movie very well, not much to be told here. The trailer for the movie, on the other hand, is pretty hilarious. (watch it here) I’m actually looking forward to this movie, Diaz really does have the chops to take on a role like this and run with it.
