Celeb Quote Of The Day: Nicole Kidman

“We have a thing where we’re not separated for more than seven days. It’s not a negotiation. It is such a desire to be together. It’s a lovely place to be in a relationship where you just desperately want to be together. We’ll do whatever it takes. He flew to Australia once for six hours so as not to break the rule of being away, and I said, ‘Oh, you don’t have to.’ He said, ‘It’s not have to, it’s I want to.’ That was big — I heard that loud and clear, ‘There’s no have-to, Nicole.’ Which is a lovely thing.”

Nicole Kidman on how she and husband Keith Urban keep their marriage strong despite their respective demanding work schedules.  Read more of her interview here.

Celeb Quote Of The Day: Halle Berry On Sex

Recently nominated sexiest woman alive by Esquire, Halle Berry says on interview:

“I”ll tell you this: I’ve learned my tricks. I know what I like. I do not wait around. I initiate. And I’m not all about frequency. I favor intensity. There have been some men in my life who have been wickedly sexy and have taught me much about sexual pleasure. There are a few men I should thank, and others I need to forget.”

Girl knows what she wants and takes it! Confidence is SEXY! The frequency vs. intensity debate is a little controversial but everyone is different! As long as you are happy and satisfied…

Celeb Quote of The Day: Sharon Osbourne Insults Nicole Kidman

“Oh my God! Those liars! I hate them! Those b*tches! They are like, ‘I didn’t do anything.’ Meanwhile, their eyebrows are here. Lying b*tch!”

“Nicole Kidman’s forehead looks like a ****ing flatscreen TV! How big is that forehead?”

-Sharon Osbourne, a confessed plastic surgery lover, doesn’t seem to understand or like people who want to keep their close encounters with the knife a secret. Sharon was really rude to Nicole Kidman but she just said what we all want to say and can’t. It’s so painfully obvious, you better just admit it!

Celeb Quote Of The Day: Kirsten Dunst

“Everybody in life goes through obstacles in different times of their life, and this year was my difficult time.  It’s part of life and it’s just called growing up.  What I have learned is if you make it out of this business and realize the whole bigger picture of it all, you are in a good spot. It’s just seeing what is important and the bigger things in life.”

Kirsten Dunst on her stint in rehab and how it helped her. Now, she says she went to Cirque Lodge for depression, not addiction, but I am not sure I believe her.  They don’t appear to offer a depression treatment program there, unless she has so much money from playing Mary Jane Watson that she got them to customize her a treatment package.  I mean, not that it’s any of my business, but I’m just saying.

Celeb Quote Of The Day: Michael Cera

“Not at all…I mean, I just … I mean … no. It didn’t change at all. The show never took off to the point where I couldn’t walk out my door. I’d just have people rush up and calmly say that they liked me. And that was nice.”

– Actor Michael Cera on the low-key fame he enjoyed after landing his 2007 roles in Superbad and Juno. His latest movie, Nick and Nora’s Ultimate Playlist hits theaters on October 3rd. How modestly, nerdishly cute is he!

Celeb Quote Of The Day: Dolly Parton

“Somebody asked, well, why didn’t you and Lily and Jane be in the play? I said it’s still called 9 to 5, not 95

Dolly Parton on the new musical based on her Oscar-nominated 1980 movie 9 to 5, in which she and co-stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda get revenge on their “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot” of a boss. The musical premiered in Los Angeles this weekend, and is headed for Broadway.

Honestly, I’m surprised Hollywood hasn’t remade this movie yet!

Celeb Quote Of The Day: Samuel L. Jackson

“I never worry about that. If people want to think of me as a role model then they should watch how I live my life. I’ve been married for over 30 years, I graduated from Morehouse College, I am a father who drove in carpools, I love my daughter, I respect my mom, I go to church. If you see me on the screen saying the N-word or four-letter words 50 times that has nothing to do with who I am. I throw myself into my characters the way I throw myself into life. But if you meet me on the street you’ll find out I’m just Sam.”

Samuel L. Jackson on whether playing bad guys in film projects the wrong image.  He discusses his new movie, Lakeview Terrace, at Parade.com.

Celeb Quote Of The Day: Matthew McConaughey

“My compass is just to keep on living and then you can’t ever really make the wrong choice. It’s when you’ve got everything going for you and you think, ‘How do I do something with all the gifts that I’ve been given?’ Sometimes you have to really bear down and get serious and go to work. Other times it’s time to sit and relax and just have a little listen to some music. That’s what has helped me navigate.”

Matthew McConaughey with wise words on what’s important to him “in life and career.”  We should all follow his advice, don’t you think?  By the way, did you know Matty’s shirtless throughout the entirety of his new movie, Surfer, Dude?

You can read the whole interview with him at Parade.com.

Celeb Quote Of The Day: America Ferrera

“‘I’m very lucky in that respect – the expectations are really low for me because I play Ugly Betty. I can just walk out in jeans and a T-shirt and people are like, “Man, you look good!””

– The decidedly non-ugly America Ferrera on the public’s surprise at how gorgeous she really is.   You can read more of her interview with The Mirror here.

Celeb Quote Of The Day: Lance Armstrong

“Uhmm, yeah. I don’t discriminate — on anything. [As long as she's] hotter than doughnut grease.”

Lance Armstrong, on whether he prefers blondes or brunettes.

Gross.
