Charlize Theron Adopts A Baby

Charlize Theron is a new mom!

The Young Adult actress has kept her parenthood aspirations under the radar (good for her!) and has adopted a son.

“Charlize Theron has adopted a child.  She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson,” her rep confirmed to US Weekly.

No further details were released officially but a source close to the actress tells the magazine the child is from the US (other outlets are reporting the child is from her native South Africa) and is African-American.

The 36 year-old Oscar winning actress split from her long-time partner, Stuart Townsend, in 2010 but said she was still interested in becoming a mom.

“I want a baby. If it would happen tomorrow I would still be very happy about it,” she said to Germany’s In Touch magazine.

Pregnant Jessica Simpson Poses Nude For Elle Magazine

Jessica Simpson lands the April 2012 cover of Elle magazine and gives up a familiar pose.

The 31 year-old Fashion Star mentor and business woman revealed she’s having a girl and is worried she’ll be sports-minded instead of a shopaholic…

“I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!” she told the magazine.

“Eric is so athletic – we’re gonna have this athletic girl and I won’t even be able to take her shopping, ’cause all she’s gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!”

The same I’m-pregnant-and-naked-but strategically-covering-my-boobs-pose was unique in 1991 when Annie Leibovitz shot Demi Moore for the cover of Vanity Fair but now it’s been done too often.

It’s most famous reenactments have been Britney Spears for Harper’s Bazaar in 2006 and Marie Claire’s cover with Christina Aguillera in 2008, as well as supermodels Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer.

I wish Elle magazine had tried to do something unique. But the shopping quote kills me. Seriously Jessica?

Report: ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Snooki Is Pregnant

Is Snooki pregnant?

The New York Post is reporting that MTV reality star Nicole Snooki Polizzi is three months along with boyfriend Jionni LaValle‘s baby.

Snooki confronted these rumors earlier this month, denying the pregnancy on GMA.

“I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant,” she told Lara Spencer on February 2nd. “Being pregnant should be a real thing and a happy thing, and I’m not.”

A baby could hamper the reality star’s antics for her new spin off show Snooki & JWoww vs The World, which she began filming with fellow Shore star Jenni JWoww Farley.

TMZ, E!’s Mark Malkin and multiple outlets are claiming sources have spilled the beans on the impending Jersey baby. Snooki’s pals are saying she lied because she hadn’t hit the third month of her pregnancy and didn’t want to jinx it.

Snooki, those oversize shirts and big bags aren’t going to cut any more.

It’s A Boy For Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck

There will be a little more testosterone in the Garner-Affleck household!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are welcoming a son after the actress gave birth in Santa Monica, CA a source revealed to People.

The name the couple has chosen for their son has not been released and he will join his older siblings, Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3 years-old.

In January, Garner told Jay Leno that they knew the sex of the baby (but weren’t going to reveal it then) and their daughters were discussing names for their new sibling:

“Our girls are working on names,” Garner told Leno in January. “At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck.

“And then they’ve moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee.”

Affleck and Garner met in 2003 while shooting Daredevil. They married in 2005.

UPDATE: Jen & Ben have named their son Samuel Garner Affleck

It’s A Boy For Susan & Robert Downey Jr.!

Susan and Robert Downey Jr. welcomed a baby into their lives on Tuesday.

Susan, 38, gave birth in Los Angeles to the couple’s first child, a son. The couple have named their 7 lb., 5 oz. baby boy Exton Elias Downey and he joins the Iron Man star’s 18 year-old son Indio, from his first marriage to Deborah Falconer.

“Everyone is healthy and they couldn’t be happier,” a friend of the couple tells People magazine.

Although Robert told Jay Leno in December the couple was expecting a boy, he had expressed his desire for a baby girl earlier this year:

“I think we should probably try to have a girl because I don’t want another male entity to have to compete,” he said during the Due Date promo tour in August. “I don’t want Indio to feel there’s another boy in my life.”

Although he did get another son, I imagine the actor is thrilled to have a healthy child and a beautiful newborn in his life.

Molly Sims Is Pregnant With Her First Child

Molly Sims will join the mommy club this year.

The 38 year-old model and her husband, producer Scott Stuber, are expecting their first child.

Sims already feels the that “pregnancy glow”:

“There are simply no words to describe the feeling,” Sims posted to her official website. “I finally get what they mean when they say pregnant women glow.”

The Project Accessory host said she chose a unique way to let her husband know she was pregnant – a fortune cookie message!

“I hijacked a fortune cookie and typed a new message so that when he opened his cookie at the end of the meal, he found out he was going to be a daddy,” she wrote. “You can only imagine how nervous I was during the entire meal — I think I ate a total of two bites — but the look of surprise and pure joy on his face was priceless.”

Sims has said in the past she planned on both biological children and adopted.

“I will adopt and I definitely do want to have my own children,” she told Aspen Peak magazine. “Absolutely, my biological clock is running. I find if we start with our little ones, it may not be where the most improvement is, but it’s where the most hope is.”

Sims and Stuber were married in September. She is due in June.

“It’s a little bit of a challenge to try to balance my work with my family, but my family comes first.”
