MADONNA just gave BFF GWYNETH PALTROW a verbal bitch-slappin’ for publicly babbling to the press that she’s been “helping Madonna through her divorce.” In a murderous mood, Muscular Madge furiously ordered Gwyneth The Good: “If you want to help me and be supportive of me, then keep your mouth SHUT! Say nothing about me or my divorce.”

Reportedly Pink and John Mayer were involved in some kind of really dull conversation when they started talking about John’s relationships. Now that is interesting!! I can think of a couple of jokes to be made about how badly John really sucks in the whole women department.

Pink, 29, explained: “I got into an argument with him. He said something along the lines of, ‘I only s**g really stupid women’, and I said, ‘I guess they would have to be.’

“I don’t get him and Jennifer at all.”

First of all I don’t think Pink is exactly calling Jennifer stupid! Pink is trying to say John is a douche and it’s obvious only stupid women fall for that type. Which isn’t exactly what always happens but we understand Pink this time.

Jennifer Aniston doesn’t see it like that. Come on, John can be her future baby’s daddy, Jen is pissed.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “She’s livid that Pink would suggest she is stupid like that in public. But Pink was actually defending Jennifer - John infuriated her by talking about women like that.

“Jennifer has already made it quite clear that Pink is to be blacklisted among her circle.”

Ah, William Shatner.  Lover of so many female alien lifeforms, negotiator of so many prices.   He’s built his whole career on being a cocky bastard, and he is really quite good at it, don’t you think?   But I think he’s gone a bit too far with a new video posted on his website.  In it, he lashes out at George Takei, claiming that his former Star Trek co-star “harbors a grudge against him that kept him from being invited to Takei’s nuptials.”  (Takei was married last month to his longtime partner Brad Altman, with other Star Trek alums in attendance.)

Interviewed by his daughter, Shatner says:

“The whole thing makes me feel badly,” Shatner said in the video. “Poor man. There is such a sickness there. It’s so patently obvious that there is a psychosis there. I don’t know what his original thing about me was. I have no idea.”

For his part, Takei says that Shatner WAS invited, he just never RSVPed.

“It is unfortunate that Bill was unable to join us for our wedding as he indeed was invited to attend,” Takei responded. “It is our hope that at this point he joins us in voting no on Proposition 8, which seeks to eliminate the fundamental right for same-sex couples to marry in California.”

How does Shatner feel about the gay issue?

“Who cares? Be gay. Don’t be gay. That’s up to you, George.”

Wow.  I’d sure want someone with that attitude at my same-sex wedding.   Shame on you, Shatner!  Are you really that mad over a wedding invitation?  Just send them a nice gift and stop being so bitter!

Is Simon Pegg taking the title of his latest film How To Lose Friends And Alienate People a bit too far?  He recently launched a few barbs at his fellow countryman Ricky Gervais on a British radio show.

Speaking on the Jamie Theakston and Harriet Scott show on Heart FM, Pegg was asked

whether he - like Gervais - was feeling the pressure of the LA lifestyle.

Instead of responding in his usually mild-mannered style, he said: ‘He says a lot of things, that man. He said there’d been no good British films since 1950. What an idiot.’

He then continued:

‘If you go to LA, you can get sucked into that.

‘I’ve seen people go there and suddenly become rake thin because there is a slight pressure on you to be thin. I’ve also seen a lot of fat people there.’

When the topic of Gervais’s portly figure was later brought up, Simon rubbed salt into the wounds by adding: ‘He’s one of the fat people in LA, yes.’

Damn, Simon!  What did Ricky ever do to you?  The Daily Mail was surprised that Simon went there unprovoked, because Ricky hadn’t been saying nasty stuff about Simon, but he just might start now.  Or maybe this is just a bit of that British humor that Americans have so much trouble comprehending?
