Last fall, Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin took a lot of abuse when she was suspected of stealing Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez.  Now she wants to let the world know her side of the story, which is, essentially:  “I’M INNOCENT.”  Palvin spoke with Celebuzz recently to clear her name and explain what really happened – or didn’t – between her and the Biebs.

It all started with a picture, taken backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where Bieber was a musical guest.   Palvin posted it to Instagram, and that’s when all hell broke loose.   She told Celebuzz:

“You know how the drama started — Selena retweeted the picture.”

The Hungarian model is clear, though, that her only interest in Bieber was as his fan.

“I wanted to meet him real bad. I watched his movie [Justin Bieber: Never Say Never] and I was like, ‘He’s such a cool kid, I want to meet him.’ And then when I did at the [Victoria’s Secret] show we met and of course we had a conversation and then I took the picture with him.”

And what about their supposed “date” to see The Lion King on Broadway?

“It was my sister’s first time in New York and we so wanted to go to Broadway, but there were no more tickets.  I just came up and was telling him, ‘My sister is here, but she’s sad because we can’t go to Broadway, no more tickets.’ And he was like, ‘Well, I can get you one.’ And his friends came . . . like six people and then me, my sister and agent. So friends.  [After the show] we were just like okay, nice to meet you, that was fun, and then bye.”

That opportunistic move earned her death threats.  But it’s OK, because her conscience is clear.

“I’m okay to talk about it because I know there’s nothing. It’s ridiculous how this got to the news.”

Jelena’s breakup didn’t last long, and neither did their rekindled relationship:  they’ve called it quits again.  Do you think they’ll give it another try, or are they done for good?  And now that there’s nothing standing in the way of Bieber and Palvin getting together, do you think they should? After 5 1/2 years, beautiful couple Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou are calling it quits.  Simmons’ rep confirmed the split to People on Wednesday.

Simmons and Hounsou were never legally married, but in 2008 they participated in a traditional commitment ceremony in Hounsou’s native Benin (West Africa).   The couple are parents to a son, Kenzo Lee Hounsou (3 1/2 yrs).  Simmons is also mom to two daughters, Ming (12) and Aoki (10), with her ex-husband Russell Simmons.

Hounsou can next be seen about  year from now in The Seventh Son, a fantasy adventure flick.   Simmons is the President and Creative Director of Just Fab, a shopping website.

The romance is over for one of Hollywood’s cutest young couples.  E! is reporting that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have split.

E!’s source says the pair’s busy schedules were too much for these two youngsters, and that they ended it about a week ago.  However, social media may tell a different story.   Model Barbara Palvin tweeted a photo of herself and Bieber backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.  To be fair, she posted equally cozy photos of herself with Alfredo Flores, photographer Russell James,  Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and Bruno Mars.) The model also turned up in the background of a photo of Bieber with the rapper Lil Twist.   This last photo got Gomez’ attention; she re-posted it with the comment “……”.

But that’s not all.  Bieber was also spotted out last night at the Lion King Broadway show, in a group of people that included Palvin.

As you can imagine, both Bieber and Palvin’s social media accounts are flooded with nasty comments today.

Gomez and Bieber outed themselves as a couple in February 2011; they’d been rumored to be dating for some time before then.

No matter how much Ethel Kennedy loves Taylor Swift, it looks like the “Red” singer won’t be joining the Kennedy clan after all.  Rumors suggest that the short relationship between Swift and Conor Kennedy is already through. A source says:

“It’s been over a month since they’ve seen each other.  With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year… It’s just a distance thing.  No hard feelings.  They’re fine.”

Swift was recently reported to have purchased property in the same Cape Cod neighborhood as the Kennedy compound, a move that Ethel Kennedy applauded.  When asked how she would feel about Swift joining the family, she gushed, “We should so lucky.”

Swift just kicked of a promotional tour for her new album, Red, which has already topped sales on both iTunes and Amazon.  We can probably expect to learn more about her summer love with Kennedy on her next album.

Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez, we hardly knew ya together.  After just three months, the pair are a pair no longer, confirms Longoria’s rep to TMZ. But it’s OK, really it is.  Sanchez’ rep says they’re just too busy to see each other:

“Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.”

The Huffington Post reports that it may have been about lifestyle as well, citing sources who say that Longoria wanted to focus on her career and charity work, while Sanchez was more interested in going out and partying.  (Chalk that up to their 12 year age difference; she’s 37, he’s 25.)   Yet other insiders say that he may have cheated on her.

Longoria was divorced from NBA player Tony Parker in 2010.  She was seen out and about this week with a red splotch on the back of her neck where a tattoo of Parker’s jersey number used to be, presumably the result of laser treatment.  Sanchez’s past companions include Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Kate Upton.

She’s gorgeous and is single again. Scarlett Johansson has split from her boyfriend, ad exec Nate Naylor.

The pair have been under the radar for about a year with the first public sighting of the two holding hands in January of this year.

The 27 year-old Avengers actress and the 38 year-old exec were quiet about their romance, although Johansson did tell Vogue that Naylor was having a hard time being in the spotlight.

“It’s totally bizarre. It’s an adjustment – I mean, it’s got to be an adjustment for him way more than it was for me at nineteen. But he’s really remarkably good about it,” she remarked.

Johansson, who’s famous exes include Ryan Reynolds (who just married Blake Lively) Sean Penn and Jared Leto, was subject to innuendo last month when she was spotted holding hands with Leto at the Democratic National Convention. Her rep issued a denial saying the pair remained friends after their breakup and it was perfectly innocent.

Johansson’s next on screen role is as Janet Leigh in the biopic Hitchcock, due in theaters in November.

Actor Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer have reportedly split, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

The separation comes after Crowe and Spencer have spent most of the last year apart due to a very heavy filming schedule; he will appear in several movies in the next year, including Man Of Steel, The Man With The Iron Fists, Broken City, A Winter’s Tale, Les Misérables, and Noah.  This summer, Spencer was seen out with her Australian Dancing With The Stars c0-star Damian Whitewood.

The couple first met in 1990 while playing opposite each other in the movie The Crossing.  After several years apart, during which Crowe had a much-publicized relationship with Meg Ryan, they got back together and married in 2003.  They have two sons together, Charles (8) and Tennyson (6).

Say it ain’t so…

Actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are separating after being married for 30 years.

DeVito, 67, and Perlman, 64, wed in 1982 and were together for 11 years before tying the knot. They met in the early 70s when DeVito was working on Broadway. A rep for the pair confirms the split but no other details are available.

The It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia actor and Cheers actress have had tremendous success on television as well as being partners in Jersey Films – a production company responsible for a number of blockbuster movies. Matilda, Pulp Fiction, Erin Brokovich and Garden State are among the hits under their company’s banner.

The couple have three grown children: Lucy, 29, Grace, 27, and Daniel, 25.

Looks like Karreuche Tran has finally had enough of Chris Brown kickin’ it with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.  Brown released a statement today saying that he and Tran are over – and RiRi is the reason.

“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”

In other words, he and Rihanna are getting back together.

Tran should feel lucky that she got out of that relationship before Brown punched her in the face t0o.   Rihanna, on the other hand, needs to rethink her judgment on this one.  Just because someone is “the love of your life” doesn’t mean it’s healthy or a good idea to be with them.

Gillian Anderson is back on the singles market.

The actress best known as Dana Scully on The X-Files has ended her relationship with boyfriend Mark Griffiths.

“Gillian Anderson and her partner Mark Griffiths have amicably separated after six years together,” a rep told Us Weekly.

The couple have two children together, Oscar, 5, and Felix, 3.

Anderson has another child, her 17 year-old daughter, Piper, from her first marriage to director Clyde Kotz. She was also married to Julian Ozanne until 2006.

Anderson spoke to Out magazine in March and revealed she had been in a relationship with a girl during her teenage years.

“I was in a relationship with a girl for a long time when I was in high school,” the 43 year-old actress said.

Anderson went on to say she has had relationships with women throughout the years but never defined herself as a lesbian.

“If I had thought I was 100% gay, would it have been a different experience for me?” she wonders. “Would it have been a bigger deal if shame had been attached to it and all those things that become huge life-altering issues for youngsters in that situation? It’s possible that my attitude around it came, on some level, from knowing that I still liked boys.”

Anderson has a few projects coming up for 2012/2013 including the films I’ll Follow You Down and The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet. She will also star in the BBC mini series The Fall.
