It’s the end of the road for one of Hollywood’s cutest couples.

Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth announced they are splitting after 11 years of marriage.

The Twilight Breaking Dawn actor and Beverly Hills, 90210 alum released a statement through their reps:

“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time,” People reports.

There is speculation that Facinelli, 38, may have had an affair, ending their union.

“Peter had been seeing another woman for quite some time,” Perez Hilton quotes a source as saying about the split. “They tried to make it work for the sake of their children and Jennie played housewife for as long as she could but finally had enough.”

No other parties have come forward and identified themselves as the “other woman” so it’s also possible Garth and Facinelli just grew apart.

Facinelli and Garth, 39, met in 1996 and married in 2001. They have three daughters: Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5 years-old.

Facinelli will return to Showtime’s Nurse Jackie for the fourth season and has The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 opening later this year.

Pop stars Nick Jonas and Delta Goodrem have decided to end their relationship.

Jonas, 19, and Goodrem, 27, began dating in the spring of 2011 and had managed to keep a pretty low profile while romancing each other.

Jonas’ reps did not comment on the split but Goodrem’s team released a statement saying the couple would continue to be pals.

“Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths. They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future. There will be no further comments regarding this matter.”

Jonas is working his magic on Broadway following Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss in the revival of the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Goodrem is set to be a judge alongside Keith Urban and Seal on the Australian version of The Voice.

Looks like the rumors were unfortunately true: Hollywood power couple Heidi Klum and Seal are ending their marriage. They made the following statement on Sunday:

“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.

“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

“We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

It’s a very civilized statement, but the current buzz is that Klum just can’t deal with Seal’s bad temper anymore, especially its effects on their children, Leni (7), Henry (6), Johan (5) and Lou (2).  Other sources say that she’s tired of all the partying he does while he’s on tour.  And then again, there’s always that pesky little seven year itch…

The couple were known for renewing their wedding vows each year on their anniversary.  They had just done so in May 2011, in Palm Beach, Florida.

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner supposedly ended their relationship last week, but their recent Tweets to each other might indicate otherwise.  Although several sources reported earlier this week that the couple broke up, they’ve continued to send each other very sweet messages on Twitter.

On Wednesday, Jenner Tweeted:

It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories. Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her

Lavigne responded:

luv u 2!!! @BrodyJenner

The rumor mill has suggested that Jenner doesn’t just want to be Lavigne’s “plus one” and follow her on tour – he wants his own career.   However, with Tweets like that, we just can’t tell what’s going on, can we?

Speaking of tours, Lavigne kicks off an Asian tour next month; she’ll hit cities in Japan, China, Malaysia and the Philippines.  Whew!

Sinead O’Connor and Barry Herridge have already called it quits – just days after their Las Vegas wedding at the beginning of December.

The 45 year-old singer revealed her split from Herridge on her website and told a British publication she realized it was doomed shortly after exchanging vows.

“It felt like I was living in a coffin. It was going to be a coffin for both of us and I saw him crushed,” O’Connor told The Sun. “The whole reason I ended it was out of respect and love for the man.”

Among the problems that came to light for the couple was that O’Connor took her newlywed husband to buy weed – and he’s a drug counselor.

“We ended up in a cab in some place that was quite dangerous. I wasn’t scared — but he’s a drugs counselor. What was I thinking?” she said. “Then I was handed a load of crack. Barry was very frightened — that kind of messed everything up a bit really.”

The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer decided she needed to end the union to the 38 year-old, which took place on December 8th at the Little White Wedding Chapel.

“The whole reason I ended it was out of respect and love for the man,” O’Connor said.

O’Connor also said she won’t marry again and that she doesn’t think she “will even date anyone” else now.

This was the fourth marriage for Sinead.

Demi Moore is filing for divorce from her husband of six years, Ashton Kutcher.

The 49 year-old actress released a statement:

“As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” she said.

After news broke of Kutcher’s alleged affair with 23 year-old coed Sara Leal, Moore and Kutcher have spent time working on their marriage, including a camping trip with a Kabbalah instructor and time at Demi’s ex-husband Bruce Willis‘ vacation home in the Turks and Caicos.

“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail,” Kutcher tweeted.

It shouldn’t have been a surprise to her but Kat Von D says she wanted to believe in Jesse James and got burned in the end.

The LA Ink star and tattoo artist took to her facebook page to admit to the world she was wrong about her ex-fiance James and that yes, he did indeed cheat on her, just like he did with his ex-wife, Sandra Bullock.

“Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year,” her post titled “Thank You, Jesse James” begins.

Von D said she was hoping that the world would eventually see James in a positive light, one where he wasn’t always the villain like he was portrayed in the media but in the end he’s still in a “dark place.”

“I think it just made me sad today to imagine him still in that dark place – where seeking validation through the attention of women takes precedence over being a good father, a sincere friend, a better coworker, and a happy individual.”

She acknowledges that people want to tell her “I told you so” but wants to move forward and not live in the past.

“It would be nice to move on now, and kindly thank you all in advance for your support, love, and positivity,” Von D wrote.

“Life is far too grand to focus on the negative and put each other down.”

I don’t think she said anything terribly negative but I don’t get why she’s writing this now. Was the 19th woman the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back? The 16th, 17th, 18th (or heck, the 1st, 2nd or 3rd) didn’t bring her to this place of reflection?

I suppose bringing this up and addressing it months later, after your break up is moving on.

Kim Kardashian has decided to cut her Australian promotional tour short and flee Down Under because she’s having a hard time dealing with the stress and questions surrounding her decision to file for divorce just 72 days after marrying Kris Humphries.

The 31 year-old reality star was lined up for an appearance at an Australian horse racing event and a visit to Melbourne Cup Carnival for Swisse vitamins marquee on Saturday for which she was reportedly expected to make more than $150,000.

Kim, who did make an appearance in Sydney at the Westfield Miranda shopping center with her sister and brother-in-law Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian-Odom, said although she wasn’t able to make Saturday’s appearance, she wants to come back.

“I’m very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time,” Us Weekly reports.

In the one interview she did give with Sydney’s Sunrise show, Kim said the rumors of money grubbing is what’s bothering her the most.

“I think what really just, I think, upsets me most is that there has been from the start so many rumors of money and dollar signs all these things thrown up in the air… and so much of it not being true,” Kardashian said.

“It’s kind of what you get from living your life so publicly on a reality show. I get that,” she claimed.

The New Girl will be going solo.

Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Ben Gibbard have announced they are splitting up.

Dechanel, 31, and Gibbard, 35, met 3 years ago when their mutual music manager set them up together. (Zooey is in the group She & Him and Ben fronts Death Cab for Cutie.)

The pair subsequently married in Seattle, Washington in 2009.

A source says the separation isn’t messy.

“It was mutual and amicable,” the source shared. “There was no third party involved.”

People magazine reports that a divorce is on the horizon and this does not appear to be a trial separation.

Deschanel is currently busy with New Girl, her hit show for Fox, and she just released a holiday album – A Very She & Him Christmas.

Skeptics aren’t buying the fact that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries televised wedding and subsequent 72 day marriage wasn’t a publicity ploy and that angers Kim.

Kardashian, who filed for divorce from Humphries on Monday, tries to set the record straight for all the Doubting Thomas’ that her wedding was not a sham just for television.

“First and foremost, I married for love,” she wrote on her blog. “I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!”

Kim further states that she did not make money off her nuptials and that all the gifts will be given to charity.

“There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.”

So I guess she didn’t sell the rights to the photos of her wedding for millions or the licensing deal with E! to televise it for millions? She gave it away for free?

Kardashian chalks up the whole experience to “getting caught up with the hoopla” and says she is a “hopeless romantic.”

This is Kim’s second marriage. Her first, when she was just 19, was to record producer Damon Thomas and lasted 4 years.
