When runaway bride Crystal Harris left her ex-fiance Hugh Hefner at the altar this summer, he was kind enough to let her keep her engagement ring.    Crystal tried – unsuccessfully – to sell the $90,000 rock shortly after their split, but her payday has finally arrived:  she sold the ring at auction this week.  The sale price?  $38,000.

While Crystal made significantly less than the ring was worth, she got more than expected.  Christie’s valued the 6.47 carat diamond ring between $60,000-$80,000 but anticipated that it would sell at less than $30,000.

Poor Hugh could have just given her the cash in the first place and been done with it!

Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have split following five months of togetherness.

The pretty pair were first photographed aboard Steven Spielberg‘s yacht in May during the Cannes Film Festival with Lively and DiCaprio taking romantic strolls throughout Europe.

The 24 year-old Gossip Girl star made at least one trip down under to hang with the 36 year-old actor as he filmed Baz Lurhman‘s adaptation of The Great Gatsby. Lively was thought to be the frontrunner to land the role of Daisy in the flick until Carey Mulligan was cast.

A source told People magazine the breakup was “amicable.”

Lively didn’t stay out of the spotlight long. The Savages actress was spotted with her Green Lantern costar Ryan Reynolds in Boston, riding the train together and grabbing sushi at O Ya restaurant.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have been the center of infidelity and breakup rumors before but this one seems to be sticking to the couple.

Moore, 48, referenced a quote from Greek philosopher Epictetus earlier in the week that many have taken as a sign of trouble in paradise.

“When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself and study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger,”she tweeted.

This comes on the heels of a report of Kutcher’s fling with 23 year-old actress Sara Leal at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.

According to the source, the Two and A Half Men actor told Leal that he and Moore have already separated, it just wasn’t public knowledge yet.

Kutcher, 33, and Moore, who tweet each other regularly, have not been sending the lovey-dovey messages they once did and Moore has cancelled a public appearance to promote her new Lifetime movie Five.

He stayed in San Diego and partied with his former That 70s Show costar Danny Masterson on the couple’s anniversary, while Moore stayed in New York City.

Neither Kutcher nor Moore’s representatives have responded to requests for comment.

Both actors are usually pretty quick to denounce the rumors but this time both have stayed silent, until today.

Kutcher tweeted a link to his account on Spotify with the Public Enemy song “Don’t Believe The Hype.”

Some of the lyrics that Kutcher may be referring to:

“Some media is the wack
As you believe it’s true
It blows me through the roof
Suckers, liars, get me a shovel
Some writers I know are d*** devils
For them I say, don’t believe the hype.”

While Kutcher tweets songs, Leal is reportedly headed to a lawyer to explore her legal options.

Kat Von D and Jesse James just need to make a decision and stick with it.  Are they split up?  Or are they back together?  They change their minds about as frequently as most people change the baking soda box in the fridge.   They originally announced their break-up back in July, with Jesse blaming the geographic distance between them (he’s based in Texas, she in Los Angeles), and Kat blaming herself.    In August they were not only back together but engaged again.

But change being the only constant, alas, now they are through once again.  Kat spilled the beans on Facebook, saying:

“I am not in a relationship.  And I apologize for all the ‘back and forth’ if it’s caused any confusion.”

Not so much confusion but derision, but um, what?  She explained to People:

“It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life.  My friend put it best when he said I could never be more deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it’s important to know your value and never lose sight of that.”

So basically, Jesse is some kind of a jerk (duh!) and she deserves better.   Tune in next month to see whether she changes her mind. Again.

Lea Michele and boyfriend Theo Stockman have split.

The Glee star and her Broadway actor beau had been dating for over a year and vacationed together in Hawaii in July.

The relationship just ran it’s course according to her publicist.

“They will always be friends,” the rep told People.

Michele told Cosmo UK earlier this year about what her perfect night with her then long-distance boyfriend Theo was like.

“Take a shower, put on a bathrobe, pour myself a glass of wine and Skype with Theo. That’s the best.”

Michele and the rest of Glee make their season 3 debut tonight at 8PM on FOX.

The infamous White House gatecrashing couple, Tareq Salahi and Michaele Salahi are headed to divorce court.

Earlier this week, Tareq was frantically looking for his wife, telling authorities he thought she had been kidnapped.

Within hours of the police report, it was discovered that Michaele was not in jeopardy but had run off to be with Journey guitarist Neal Schon.

The 47 year-old winery owner wasted no time filing for divorce citing adultery and abandonment at the end of the week.

Among the humiliating things Tareq has endured according to court documents, he received an email photo from the musician of his 57 year-old schlong. Blech.

TMZ reports “Tareq says in the papers, “the paramour [Neal] sent to my email account … a email with an attachment of a penis” — presumably his.”

Tareq says that there is a pre-nup between him and Michaele.

Schon will probably receive his walking papers too. He was married just two months ago in Paris to Ava Fabien and she is none too pleased with the rock star.

Mark Ballas and Pia Toscano have ended their relationship.

The reality/competition TV couple began dating in April but both have busy careers that are said to have gotten in the way of their romance.

“They both decided with everything going on that they couldn’t give each other what would be fair,” a source told People. “They mutually decided this.”

Ballas, 25, is rehearsing with Kristin Cavallari, his partner in the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.

Toscano, 22, is finishing up with the American Idol tour and will work on a solo album next.

Michaele Salahi was not kidnapped as alleged by her husband, Tareq Salahi.

A few hour after Tareq called authorities and claimed the Real Housewives of DC star had been abducted, the news surfaced that she is alive and well and going to concerts in Tennessee.

Michaele is hanging with Neal Schon the guitarist for Journey. Who saw that coming?!!

TMZ learned that Michaele has been dating Schon and went to the Journey/Foreigner concert in Nashville the previous night and yesterday was in Memphis with the bands.

Scoop Marketing, the rep for Journey, confirmed “Nobody kidnapped her and they are in Memphis together.”

Tareq does not seem satisfied with this. Even though authorities have contacted her, he believes she is being held against her will and is not making decisions of her own free will.

“It is our belief as of last night, that Michaele Salahi may have been kidnapped or abducted and being held under duress and forced to tell persons, including authorities she is okay,” a statement by Tareq posted on TMZ said.

It’s tough to take this couple serious about anything.

The Salahis became infamous for crashing a White House dinner party in 2009 and earlier this year, Michaele was asked to leave the show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew for not having an addiction problem.

Minka Kelly flaunts her hot body on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s October issue.

The 31 year-old is clad in a cleavage-revealing yellow tank top and low rise jeans for her sexy cover look.

The magazine promises the issue will reveal how Kelly’s “turbulent past helped launched her career” and “the real reason” behind her split with boyfriend Derek Jeter. It’s unlikely she’ll reveal anything scandalous about her breakup with the NY Yankee. Talk about over-selling.

Cosmo isn’t giving much up at all about this interview except this quote from the actress about her new show, Charlie’s Angels.

“I’m excited by the idea of three women kicking ass and taking names, ” she says.

Charlie’s Angels premieres on ABC Thursday, September 22nd at 8pm.

Minka’s issue of Cosmo is on sale Tuesday, September 13th.

Melissa Gilbert has turned in the paperwork to end her marriage to Bruce Boxleitner.

The 47 year-old actress announced the split from her husband of 16 years in winter of this year but until yesterday, no one had filed the legal docs to permanently end the marriage.

“We have loved each other for a very long time and we share four incredible sons together,” Gilbert said in a statement at the time of the separation. “On behalf of our family we ask to be allowed our privacy during this very difficult time.

Gilbert and her lawyers turned the petition in to LA Superior Court with a separation date in January of 2011. Citing “irreconcilable differences,” she is seeking spousal support and joint physical custody of their son, 15 year-old Michael Boxleitner.

The couple also have other children. Gilbert has one son, Dakota, from her previous marriage to director Bo Brinkman. The 61 year-old Boxleitner has two sons; Sam and Lee, from his previous marriage to actress Kathryn Ogilvy.

Gilbert’s sister and The Talk co-host Sara Gilbert also split from her partner, Allison Adler this week.
