The Jonas Brothers are already ridiculous popular among tween and teen girls, but perhaps now they’ve endeared themselves to their parents as well. The talented singing trio appeared on Good Morning America to make a $10,000 donation to the One Warm Coat drive.  But they not only gave cash - they donated their very own coats too!   One Warm Coat’s goal is to give any person in need a warm coat, free of charge.

Despite rumors the couple might be ready to split, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden seemed to be still completely in love with each other judging by these photos taken at UNICEF’s Light The Night Christmas lighting ceremony.

Nicole is definitely a lucky woman! She got the cutest of the Madden twins too (take that Paris Hilton!!) and they have a 10 month-old daughter, Harlow Winter Madden. I have read somewhere (can’t remember where! I read a lot, ok?) that they want to expand the family with one condition: Nicole wants to get married!!

It really seems that lately Justin Timberlake is conquering all. He seems to be able to do everything…and do that everything flawlessly. And now he is playing golf for the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open as part of the PGA tour at TPC Summerlin golf course in Las Vegas, Nevada. Which means…he has a huge heart. Roselyn Sanchez (from Without a Trace) has been engaged to her man Eric Winter (from Days of our Lives) since January, and it looks like a wedding is happening soon.

Roselyn’s co-star Poppy Montgomery (whom I totally love) threw her a wedding shower this weekend.  Among the attendees was Eva Longoria Parker.   Who even knew they were friends?  Is it the TV thing, or the Latina thing?  Anyway, it sounds like a relaxing girls’ afternoon:

“Eva got her tarot cards read while Poppy and Rosalyn got manicures and pedicures,” says a partygoer. Between the spa treatments and storytelling, guests munched on Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn and watched a video that Montgomery made for the guest of honor.

Oh, now that’s classy.  Microwave popcorn for a wedding shower?  Poppy!  You are seriously hot and all, but that is no excuse for serving tacky party food!

By the way, if the guests were following directions, they came empty-handed.  Roselyn and Eric have said that they don’t want gifts.  They’re asking their guests to make a donation to the San Jorge Children Research Foundation.  This group helps children with congenital or acquired malformations, or cancer.   Bravo to them!

Crazy lady Heather Mills told Hello! magazine that she has spent most of her insane $48.5M divorce settlement from Sir Paul McCartney.

‘A lot of it has already gone to charity, and I kept some to invest in projects and causes that will make this world a better place.

‘It’s been a very, very difficult time, the hardest ever, but I now want the chance to focus on charity and continue my work with the causes I really care about.’

She’s using all the money on charity projects?  That doesn’t sound like “secur[ing] mine and my daughter’s future,” which is what she said the settlement was for back in March.

I hate her even more now.

Seems that former The Bachelor Andy Baldwin is quite the athlete and do-gooder. He’s even an ordained minister!

Dr. Andy Baldwin became famous on The Bachelor and is using that as a podium for community service and athletics. “[Philanthropy] is what I’m all about,” the U.S. Naval Officer, triathlete and physician, 31, tells PEOPLE. “I don’t have that much money to begin with, but to use the fame to give back, and promote things that you’re passionate about, that’s the way I’m living my life right now.”

He spends much of his time mentoring medical students, giving motivational speeches or fighting for pancreatic cancer awareness.

This doesn’t leave him much time to date, but he says that he’s looking for a girl who gives back – and isn’t afraid to get a little sweaty. ”I think it’s sexy to be with somebody after you worked out.”

Ideally, he says, he seeks someone who is “very giving and [into] helping others.”

Baldwin likes to work up a sweat himself and On Sept. 14, he came in first in his division – bettering Matthew McConaughey! – in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon.

“It was a fun time – I defended my title!” he says, adding that his heavy work schedule makes training difficult.

He enjoyed meeting the other celebrity competitors and told People magazine that it was nice to meet Matthew McConaughey. At the end of the race Matthew even commented, “Man! You didn’t tell me you were that fast! You gotta give me some tips.”

He had this to say about J.Lo ”She was sweet, I was giving her some pointers on [swimming] and helping her relax.”

Andy Baldwin, who is also a certified minister, will marry DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak on May 9th next year as he has been asked to officiate their wedding.

Geesh, Andy. Leave some accomplishments for the rest of us!

Finally, a The Hills star that is actually doing something substantial to help people. Here’s the scoop:

Lauren Conrad, who is currently filming the fourth season of The Hills, has joined up with mark cosmetics to fight dating violence. Part of the profits from mark, the beauty and accessories line she promotes for Avon, will be donated to groups involved in stopping dating violence. Conrad, 22, serves as the spokesperson for the campaign as well as the first Honorary Co-Chair of the M.powerment Expert Advisory Board.

She wrote on her MySpace celebrity blog, “I have partnered with mark in its first initiative, aimed at ending the cycle of dating abuse and violence. Women ages 16-24 experience the highest rates of partner violence, and mark and I want to change that statistic.”

Avon says in a product listing that 100 percent of the net proceeds from Conrad’s Have A Heart Necklace will be donated to the Girls M.powerment Campaign. That means that $20 from every $22 necklace sold will help fund the project. Lauren commented, “Abuse is a devastating cycle. By purchasing this necklace for yourself and your friends, you’ll support the cause and raise awareness.”

You go, girl! Further reason why I am 100% team Lauren!

Jennifer Lopez can say now that she accomplished her goal, she finished her first triathlon Sunday in Malibu in 2 hours and 23 minutes. I think she deserves a big pat on the back for that one! Seeing her throwing up her hands when she crossed the finish line is amazing considering she gave birth to twins just seven months ago.

And what did Jennifer say after she crossed the finish line?

“Thank you guys so much. This is an amazing day. I feel really great and so glad I finished and that I made it out of the water but more amazing than that, I feel really great that we raised $127,000 for the Children’s Hospital [of Los Angeles] and hopefully it’ll go to good use.”

It’s amazing to see the evolution of Britney Spears in the past 6 months, she went from train wreck to normal and we are really starting to believe in a titanic comeback. Till then, Brit gets back to charity by donating an autographed portrait of herself.

The 5-by-4-foot oil painting of the pop star was given to the L.A.-based Promises Foundation, which provides behavioral health services to low-income women and their children.

“The Spears family gave us this painting out of their generosity,” says the organization’s director, Lisa Rogg. “It was their idea for the auction.”

The auction is open on eBay for everyone who has at least $10,000 to spare. The unique piece of art comes with a letter of authenticity from her Brit’s father, Jamie, which states: “I hereby verify that the portrait of my daughter, Britney, has been in our home since it was completed by the Daniel Maltman Studio.”

The painting is beautiful but I think the auction would be a lot more successful if they could guarantee Britney herself would personal deliver it. If you are spending that kind of money, you might as well get a little bonus…

Gazbillionaire Oprah Winfrey is at the top of Parade Magazine’s list of 2007’s most generous celebrities.  She donated a whopping $50.2M to charities last year.

A lot of money that celebs donate to charity goes to their own foundations to support their own pet projects, and Oprah is no exception - much of that went to the Oprah’s Angel Network and the Oprah Winfrey Foundation.
