Custody battles can turn ugly in the blink of an eye and the one brewing between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer and her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer is beginning to take that nasty path.

Kelsey, 56, filed for primary physical custody less than a month ago and now Camille, is fighting back with her own petition.

The reality star says the court documents filed by the former Fraiser star were “done in order to create a false impression to the media and to wrongfully disparage her,” adding that he acted “in bad faith.”

In Kelsey’s filing, Camille would only have the children for half of their summer break and the winter school breaks, while they lived with Kelsey and his new wife, Kayte Walsh, moving them to his residence in Chicago.

Camille says the children, daughter Mason, 9, and Jude, 6, shouldn’t have their homes or routines upset.

“The children have routines, school, friends and are surrounded by people they know and love,” a source told PopEater. “To move them across the country to spend time with their dad and his new wife, whom they hardly know, and nannies while their father is working makes no sense at all.”

Camille’s friends say part of the problem is that she has tried repeatedly to work things out with Kelsey, but he’s been unwilling.

“She will continue to fight aggressively to keep her kids and keep her kids together,” a source close to Camille tells PEOPLE. “Kelsey’s not been civil. [Camille] has tried to reach out without lawyers on multiple occasions and been rebuffed.”

One of the more surprising things to come out of all this – Kelsey’s court paper documents propose splitting the sibling up.

When Camille accused Kelsey of only wanting custody of their son, Jude, his legal eagle quickly denied it.

Kelsey’s lawyer, Lance Spiegel, tells TMZ, “Their statement is inaccurate, as indicated by our papers filed with the court today.  Kelsey’s priority is to protect both of his children and he will not make further comment, except that their statement is inaccurate.”

But TMZ has a letter from Kelsey’s lawyer stating it differently with Kelsey proposing to enroll Jude in school in Chicago:

“Kelsey proposes … Kelsey shall have primary physical custody of Jude and Camille shall have primary physical custody of Mason.”

This sounds like it’s just the start of a long and terribly ugly protracted mess with the two kids caught in the middle.

Charlie Sheen had to hand his twin sons, Bob and Max over to Los Angeles deputies as his soon-to-be ex-wife was granted both a temporary custody and restraining order against the embattled actor.

Brooke Mueller’s lawyers went to L.A. County Superior Court with an affidavit from Mueller stating Sheen threatened her allegedly saying:

“I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom”

The court documents also show Mueller claims she was at Sheen’s residence on February 23rd when he threw a phone and threatened to stick a pen knife in her eye.

Sheen’s lawyers were not notified of the court appearance and are planning to head to court today to argue against the order.

The Two and a Half Men star refutes those allegations and went live on the Today Show saying:

“it’s colorful … that’s a good one I guess. If you spend enough time around me you can formulate things and make it sound like it could have come from my mouth, but you can do that watching reruns.”

Custody battles are rarely pleasant or easy but add two high profile celebrities in the mix and the drama tends to get very ugly very fast.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry are locked in a legal (and publicity) war over which parent is worse for their daughter, 2 1/2 year-old Nahla.

Berry’s friends are reporting on Aubry’s alleged rotten behavior, including hurling the N-word at the star:

Aubry’s former friend and business partner Stephane Bibeau claims the model became ‘verbally threatening’ to Berry after they separated.

Bibeau also accused the model of using a racial slur against the actress, according to the latest issue of America’s People magazine.

The respected publication reports several other sources close to Berry, 44, also supported Bibeau’s accusation.

‘He is a vindictive guy,’  Bibeau said.

Aubry’s friends are coming to his defense and painting Berry as the one who flies into wild rages and has left him loads of vicious, bitter text and voice messages that document her anger issues:

‘I honestly think Gabriel should release some of these messages he has from Halle, and tell his side of the story, but he won’t, he said he’s going to save them for family court, which will be a private, press-free environment,’ the source told the website.

‘I know it sounds like I’m painting a picture but Gabriel truly does not want to do anything at all that could potentially damage his daughter, and he knows attacking Halle in the press would ultimately do that.’

Unfortunately for little Nahla, this public and legal match appears far from over.

Halle Berry has “serious concerns” about Gabriel Aubry’s daddy time with their daughter, Nahla.

Berry’s rep released a statement:

“Halle has serious concerns for her daughter’s well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her.”

The actress is so worried, she has dropped out of the upcoming film New Year’s Eve to clear her slate for a legal showdown with Aubry.

Aubry filed for paternity in December to be officially recognized as Nahla’s father as their is no formal agreement between the two regarding custody.

“She has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter’s father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention,” her rep says.

Berry and Aubry split in April of 2010 after 4 years together. Nahla is 2 1/2 years old.

Adam Dell has engaged the very private Padma Lakshmi in a public battle for their daughter Krishna Thea.

The Top Chef host has been hit with court papers from Dell, a venture capitalist and brother to computer guru Michael Dell, who is suing for full custody of their child. Dell and Lakshmi have had an out of court agreement due to expire on February 20, Krishna’s 1st birthday. In that arrangement, Dell was allowed 9 days with his daughter.

Dell is also reported to still be bitter about the baby’s name:

Sources tell us Adam is still furious over the name Padma chose for the baby.  We’re told two days after Krishna was born, Adam went to the hospital and launched into a 4-hour tirade over the name.

Lakshmi, who has never publicly confirmed the paternity of her child, is upset about the publicity this generates and wanted to handle the disagreement privately.

The former model and wife of author Salman Rushdie is currently involved with billionaire Theodore “Teddy” Forstmann.

The star wide receiver for the playoff bound Arizona Cardinals, Larry Fitzgerald is being accused of beating his wife.

TMZ has the scoop:

Angela Nazario claims she brought the couple’s son to visit Larry at his Phoenix home last October when the former lovers began arguing.

Nazario alleges in her legal papers filed in Arizona, Fitzgerald attempted to “diffuse the situation” by raising his fist and challenging her to a play fight. Nazario admits she responded by swinging at him and “may have hit his face.”

Fitzgerald then turned from playful to enraged, allegedly pushing Nazario down to her knees. She claims he “grabbed me by my hair with both hands on the back of my head very very hard and tossed me across the room.”

Later, when she tried to leave with her son, Nazario says Fitzgerald “grabbed the back of my neck and slammed me down on the marble floor … [I] was disoriented for awhile and could not get up, I remember he mumbled something about ‘that’s what happens when you try taking my son away from me.’” As she got in the car to leave she realized she had lost “chunks” of hair.

I am not sure what this could mean for Fitzgerald and his position with the Arizona Cardinals.� This could be very damaging to the Cardinals chances of winning their playoff game on Saturday vs. the Atlanta Falcons.� If the Arizona Cardinals organization decides to take diciiplinary action against Fitzgerald, it could spell a loss for the team as a whole and knock them out of the playoffs prematurely.

Kevin Federline has a thing for crazy, nutjobs.� Hence his relationship with Victoria Prince. This girl might have a “sweet” sounding name.� But, she has got herself quite a record and I can’t wait to hear more about all the skeletons in her closet.

TMZ gives us the backround on Victoria:

K-Fed’s new squeeze, Victoria Prince, has had her share of run-ins with the law. Just last year, Prince was arrested for assault and disturbing the peace. But, she pled not guilty and the case was eventually dismissed.

Back in her high school days, she allegedly waged a terror campaign against three kids at her high school. Their parents filed a temporary restraining order against her, but the judge rejected it, telling the school to deal with it.

But wait, there’s more. Vic was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school premises (a stun gun) and possession of alcohol by a minor — The docs were destroyed so we don’t know how it all turned out.

Vic told us the stun gun was for protection, because she had to walk to her car late at night after volleyball practice — she didn’t mention the other stuff.

I am sure she didn’t mention the rest…..why would she?!?� I am sure Victoria Prince wants the world to forget her shady past and look forward to her shady future with Kevin Federline.

Looks like there’s a little more to Paige Peterson than her sexy bod.� This girl doesn’t take to authority well at all.� My oh my……

The woman who played the hot orgy girl in “Meet the Spartans” has been arrested and jailed for allegedly beating up her boyfriend, and she could win the vulgar award of the year.

Paige Peterson, a Maxim model who played quarterback in the Lingerie Bowl, was busted on Thanksgiving day at around 5:00 PM for alleged misdemeanor domestic battery. Law enforcement sources say she was one of the worst inmates ever in jail, “yelling, kicking and fighting” inside her cell. She was so bad, cops had to handcuff her to the bench in the holding cell.

She was allegedly hurling profanities at the officers to the point they turned on a tape recorder because they felt if the case ever went to court, no one would believe someone that pretty and petite had that kind of foul mouth.

Peterson’s BF wasn’t injured during the incident at their Hollywood home. She is still in custody.

Good grief.� Thanksgiving Day?� Girl, you’ve got some problems.� Simmer down.� Maybe it’s time to start focusing on some New Year’s Resoultions…….

Our very own American Amy Winehouse;�Britney Spears is once again being investigated by�child services in California for abuse allegations.

In a request to unseal parts of the case file, an attorney for the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services wrote that there are concerns about the safety and welfare of the two toddlers, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, if they are left in their mother�s care.

Though the agency mentioned investigating referrals relating to [Kevin] Federline, the documents released Tuesday don�t provide details. After-hour calls to attorneys representing Spears and Federline were not immediately returned.

Doesn’t she have a court appointed monitor with her now at all times? What are in those reports?

Now let’s just put Britney, Amy and Pete Doherty in a house on a deserted island ala Survivor and see which one eats the other first.

In the ongoing and messy custody battle between former Beatle Paul McCartney and his soon-to-be ex-wife Heather Mills, McCartney’s friends and family are expressing his outrage over Mills�rants in TV interviews against him and his daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney. She has claimed she is receiving death threats and that McCartney is not helping her, she has said she was suicidal and Sir Paul did nothing to help her and that his daughter, Stella, was “evil” to her and tried to wreck the marriage. The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, had an interesting and telling comment for Mills, as she has also been in the public spotlight for less than favorable reasons.

Fergie said of being in the spotlight: �It�s quite difficult when it�s right in your face. But there�s always a reason for it, so maybe you have to change something in yourself.�

Sir Paul is very concerned with his daughter Bea’s emotional health after all this mudslinging and rightfully so. It won’t be long before she can google this whole messy affair and have every miserable thing said about either parent right in her face. That’s the biggest shame of it all.
