The early morning hours were not friendly for former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes.

The 26 year-old tried to go around a police car at 3 AM and instead ended up clipping the back panel of the cop’s vehicle. Bynes was immediately pulled over and police found her unfit to be behind the wheel.

Bynes was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station for booking. She was released after posting $5,000 bail.

The Easy A star has not had a court date set and the investigation is still considered ongoing.

Bynes has hit the Hollywood party scene recently and TMZ reports the actress was in the process of receiving a ticket for driving while talking on her cell when she fled the scene.

The website also noted they filmed her coming out of Greystone Manor on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) and she appeared intoxicated but still drove herself home.

Russell Brand is sick of the paparazzi and he wanted to make sure the unsuspecting office windows of New Orleans know it.  The actor, who is in New Orleans filming a movie, got himself in a bit of trouble this week when he decided a photographer went just a little too far.

On Monday, Brand evidently snatched an iPhone from a paparazzo, who was taking his picture, and threw it through the window of a local law firm.  The photographer filed charges for criminal damages amounting to $700, and a warrant was issued for Brand’s arrest.

Ever the responsible citizen, Brand turned himself in to the New Orleans Police on Thursday.  He was booked and released shortly thereafter.  He also paid $240 to the law firm whose window he smashed.   Presumably he can afford to replace the guy’s iPhone, too, so why the charges?   Is the pap just trying to make a point because he can?

Country music superstar Randy Travis was arrested in Texas last week for public intoxication on February 5th after a Super Bowl celebration and his arrest video was just released.

The tape was recorded by a dashboard camera from the police car and shows the officers approaching Travis, who was sitting in his car, but not driving.

The 52 year-old was cooperative with authorities, answering their questions, but was incredulous when he was informed he was being taken into custody.

“Really? Are you kidding me?” Travis asks the officer.

The “Forever and Ever, Amen” singer was more worried about getting back to his car, wondering if someone would “drive me back to my vehicle” after his arrest.

Travis was eventually booked on misdemeanor public intoxication in Sanger, Texas and released after a few hours in custody.

“I apologize for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl,” Travis said in a statement the next day. “I’m committed to being accountable, and apologize for my actions.”

Randy and Evi Quaid are in a lot of trouble for stiffing hotels.  The crazy couple is out on bail (details here) and Evi isn’t letting her arrest lightly.

TMZ is reporting that evil Evi Quaid just drove a huge truck up and parked it in front of Mayor Dan Dunlaps office in Presidio County.  Then she got up on a chair and painted a banner to smear the name of the deputy that arrested her and Randy, on the side of the trailer!  It says, ”Deputy James Davis takes payments … call & make offers.”

Deputy Davis isn’t going to take much more of crap,

“She’s entitled to her freedom of speech, but at some point it becomes libel. I’m considering legal action if it continues.”

This is hilarious.  How pathetic are these people?  Randy Quaid, get a grip on your wife.  Pay your bills.  Quit embarrassing yourselves and your family.  Geesh!

Actor Matt Dillon was caught speeding down the highway on Interstate 91 in Newbury, Vermont on Tuesday night and was promptly arrested by the authorities.

Law enforcement sources tell us Dillon was pulled over going over 100 MPH on Interstate 91 in rural VT, and had to be arrested because he was going so far over 65. We’re told if he’d been doing 80-90, he could’ve gotten by with just a ticket.

At least Matt was sober (which is no excuse for speeding!) but he still didn�t escape the humiliation of having his pretty mug shot all over the internet today. Actually I think he was enjoying the photo shoot way too much� that�s the closest he has got to the spotlight in a long time!!

Why do celebrities like Charles Barkley go and drive drunk?� Why don’t they use some of their oodles of cash and pay a driver to get them home safely?� I think it’s SO annoying and obviously irresponsible.� Come on.� It’s not like they don’t have the means to do the right thing.

Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of DUI early this morning in Arizona.
Barkley was arrested by the Gilbert Police Department at a DUI checkpoint and had his blood tested on scene by a mobile DUI task force.

He was released later which tells me all his money started talking and he will likely get away with the DUI.

Hey Barkley, you couldn’t wait to start ringing in the New Year?� Wish ya woulda’ waited now, huh?

I wonder if this will affect his chances of winning the election for Governor of Alabama in 2014?

Latina babe Laura Zuniga was just stripped of her “Queen of Hispanic America” title after getting popped at a Mexican checkpoint with her boyfriend, his posse and trucks filled with weapons and cash.

Included in the bust: AR-15 assault rifles, 38 specials, 9mm handguns, nine magazines, 633 cartridges and $53,300 in U.S. currency.

Zuniga is being held for 40 days while investigators consider charges.

How the heck did Laura NOT know there was an arsenal trying to cross the border with her?!?� I find that part a wee bit suspicious and I don’t know if she’s gonna get away with it.� 40 days in the slammer is gonna really do a number on this “Beauty Queen”.

At the very least, OJ Simpson will spend 9 years in prison.� Perhaps he will be spend the full 33 years he was given. But, I doubt that will happen.� Does anyone really care that OJ is going to be locked up for armed robbery and kidnapping?� It is morbid, but, it kinda cracks me up!� The jerk has been in need of a prison sentence for a million years now.� So, it’s about time!� OJ, you’ve had prison time knocking on your door for many moons now.� See ya!!

It’s a proud day for all of us in Louisiana. Miss Teen Louisiana, Lindsey Evans, has been charged with possession of narcotics and theft.

Miss Teen Louisiana, Lindsey Evans, was arrested along with three friends for allegedly doing a dine and dash over a measly $46.07 bill.

Here’s the best part. Evans left her purse in the restaurant and came back for it. She was arrested, and then guess what cops found inside the bag — weed!!! She’s charged with theft and pot possession.

A spokesman for the Miss Louisiana Teen USA organization says they haven’t decided her fate. Her reign ends next month.

Somewhere Tara Conner is raising a drink- or 10- to this girl for taking over the bad pageant girl title. Lovely, isn’t it?

Mere hours after checking into a Los Angeles jail, Khloe Kardashian has been released. She was booked at 8:52 a.m. PT this morning and was declared free to go at 1:29 p.m.

Geesh…how will anyone learn in this world?
