Christina Applegate is on this week’s cover of People magazine and the actress is positively gushing about being a new mom.

Applegate and her fiance, Martyn LeNoble welcomed daughter Sadie Grace on January 27th and the actress says her life is changed for the better and she couldn’t be happier:

Yeah, now I’m Mom. She’s healed me in so many ways,” says the actress. “She’s just made my life so much better. She’s opened my whole soul.”

The actress shares with the magazine:

“I felt my heart literally open up for the first time and like wrap itself around her. It was profound,” she says. “And I’m more in love with her every minute of the day.”

Christina’s issue is on sale Friday, February 18th.

Christina Applegate has given birth to her first child.

The Samantha Who actress and her fiance, musician Martyn LeNoble, had a baby girl on Thursday, January 27th. Their daughter weighed in at 7lb 8 oz and is named Sadie Grace.

Applegate, 39, survived a bout with breast cancer 2 years ago and had a double mastectomy, which she credits LeNoble, 41, for helping her through.

The couple began dating three years ago and became engaged on Valentine’s Day 2010. This is their first child.

Uh oh!  Christina Applegate’s fiancee, Martyn LeNoble spilled the beans on the sex of their baby!  Christina isn’t due until February, but the news is out now!

An insider told In Touch,

“He said he was hoping for a boy, but Christina wanted a girl.”

I am really happy for them!  I think Christina deserves to get her girl.  She’s the one going through the pregnancy and Martyn is going to love having a daddy’s little girl.

Christina Applegate is an amazing woman who deserves all the happiness in the world.  She has been through so much, beating breast cancer and keeping that beautiful smile on her face throughout.  I couldn’t be happier when I heard the news.  Applegate’s rep confirmed to People,

If you loved Samantha Who?, you might want to try and forget about it and move your interests elsewhere.  ABC has let the show go and well, sent Christina Applegate packing.

The network has picked up 10 new shows yet can’t keep Samantha Who? for budget reasons.  Go figure.

Were you a fan of the show or just a fan of Christina Applegate?  I really hope she finds another show that she loves.  I want to see her stay on the primetime circuit.

Christina Aguilera and husband, Jordan Bratman, got a chance to get some Christmas shopping done without baby, Max, around. There really is nothing like being able to run into a store without having the kids with. It’s quicker plus you don’t have them nagging at you all the time.

Christina looks like she is dressed festively in her plaid red shirt, even though the last button is so low her girls might fall out…and look at the way she is puckering her lips for the photographers. That’s a hot mess! And it’s great how Jordan is walking behind her. That’s a man letting the diva be in front.

Christina Applegate has revealed that she took hundreds of nude photos before her double mastectomy. She was recently on the Oprah Winfrey show to talk about her battle with cancer.

�I did my first and last nudie photoshoot at home. I made sure that I have close-up photographs of them from every angle, so I can kind of remember them.�

Christina is trying so hard to stay positive about the whole situation. Obviously, she’s being doing something right because she looks radiant. But, there are some downsides to the surgery..

�You�ve got scarring and there�s a lot of things you�re missing� and the shape is not the same and it doesn�t feel the same and it�s hard to carry your purse and there are so many limitations.

�It�s sad. I cry at least once a day about it because it�s hard to overlook it when you�re standing there in the mirror.�

I think her deciding to have a double mastectomy is so brave. I don’t know if I could do the same thing if I was faced with the same thing. What a great role model for others.

Christina Applegate was shining on the red carpet at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles. It was a night of happiness for Christina knowing that it was a victory that she made it there. She was nominated for Best Actress In A Comedy but she was thrilled that she could be there after her cancer diagnosis in August.

�One thing my mother always used to say when she was going through cancer, was she said cancer is a word, not a sentence, and being here and being in a dress and feeling good, it�s such a victory,� Applegate said. �You can get past this thing and all of those things that defines you as a woman. There�s so many other things that define you as a woman, so you know, I�m alive and I feel fantastic.�

What a strong woman to talk about what she has been through. She’s a survivor and we should always remember that. We all are so glad she is okay now.
