Illusionist Criss Angel got his friends together to celebrate his birthday and the 1,000th  Criss Angel BeLieve Show, at the LAX Nightclub at The Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday (December 11th) night.

The Mindfreak star has a very generous side and he has celebrated his birthday not by asking for gifts but by donating his time and money.

This week to mark his birthday, Criss donated $25,000 to the group on top of the tens of thousands he’s already donated. Criss contributed $10,000 to the children’s annual Christmas party yesterday at The Rio. Criss donated 350 of his magic kits, signed autographs and took photos with all the kids. He also granted a wish for 13-year-old Cashel, who wanted a tour of his private estate Serenity here in Las Vegas.

He also donated over $5000 to a local TV station raising money for cancer research and another $15,000 for a different toy drive in Nevada. Angel said:

“I have been so blessed in my life,” Criss told me. “I never forget my own tough times, and now that I have the Mindfreak TV series and The Strip show, it’s my joy to help others, especially at this time of the year. We’re also reaching our 1,000th show and my birthday at the same time, so it’s great to include everybody in the celebration week and show my thanks this way.”

Impressive! It’s nice to know that he’s just doing this – not pimping it out for publicity.

I think finally all my prayers have been answered. Criss Angel and Holly Madison have broken up. Yes, I still like Criss no matter how gross people say he is. I just had this feeling that Criss and Holly weren’t meant to be. Maybe Holly just really liked that Criss had money?

“She was very much in love with him and they’re still very close friends,” a source [said]. “It was a conflict of schedules. She felt she couldn’t devote 100 percent of her time in Vegas and his career at the expense of her career and her goals.”

I’m sure it had nothing to do with Holly being 29 and Criss being 41. I’m sure Criss is getting ready to settle down now that he is a millionaire and Holly wanted to do more. I’m going to do another happy dance.

Now that we all know Holly Madison and Criss Angel are in love we have to hear sickening stories about it. Criss shared with everyone the other day how all he wanted for Christmas was Holly. Holly is now saying that she is going to be the one to propose to Criss.

“I actually made Criss a paper ring, but he won�t wear it,” Madison, 28, [said]. “When he starts wearing his paper ring, I will be the one to propose.”

Added Angel: “You know, what Holly and I have is really something that money can�t buy. She is enough for me.”

The two of them are so cute. It’s about time Criss finally has someone to love him! Holly also spilled what she’s getting Criss for Christmas. So hopefully Criss will skip over this part…

“I am getting him all snowboarding stuff. But I�m not supposed to tell you that!” Madison whispered.

They have plans to share an intimate New Years together…

“We are going to spend it here in Las Vegas,” Angel said. “I have a private room booked for dinner and then we are going to go out.”

And their parents will be joining them. Holly says it will be the first time they all meet. How cute. I can see them married by the end of 2009!

Criss Angel and Holly Madison are so completely in love it’s sickening to hear them talk about how all they want for Christmas is each other, that’s so cheezy, even for them!!

“I don’t want anything for Christmas,” Angel, 41, told People. “I just want Holly, love, health and happiness, and I have all of those things.”

As for his birthday request, he said, “I’m hoping Holly will just put a bow in her head and that will be my present.”

The birthday girl seems to want a similar gift. “I just want you,” Madison, who actually turns 29 on Tuesday, told him. “I’m in love and I’m so happy.”

I can hear Mariah singing! Don’t you just love the Christmas spirit?? It truly brings out the best in people. I thought all Criss Angel wanted was fame, fortune and paparazzi following him around everywhere, while Holly would want to release a sex tape and be more popular than Paris Hilton. Merry Christmas!!

You can hate on Criss Angel and Holly Madison all you want but I think they are great for each other. She is really taking this less makeup thing seriously. By the looks of it she was just able to get dressed before she could tear herself away from her new lover, Criss. She deserves it…she probably hadn’t had sex for along time with her ex-boyfriend, Hugh Hefner. Let the baby bump watch begin!

Yeh… You read that right. Holly Madison-the Playboy Playmate ex-girlfriend of gross old man Hugh Hefner- is cutting back on the make-up wearing since their break up. She credits the desire to make out with Criss Angel as the reason.

“I think the breakup is partially the reason,” the model told Life & Style, regarding the basis for her diminished use of foundation, fake eye lashes and lip gloss. “The truth is, I barely wear lip gloss anymore because I’m always making out with my boyfriend, so it comes off in two-and-a-half seconds… Apparently, I wasn’t making out with Hef as much.”

I totally don’t get what this chick sees in either one of the guys she’s dated last, but I definitely think she could do a lot better. What do you think of her more “natural” look?

The very much over Hugh Hefner hottie Holly Madison is not wasting any time being seen out and about with new beau Criss Angel. As we reported here, the duo have been getting cozy since her break-up with the geriatric Hef. Last night they caught the premiere of Paris Hilton‘s Repo: The Genetic Opera at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, his professional lie isn’t going as well as his personal one. His show Believe is getting horrible reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Holly Madison was seen arm in arm (and even kissing) Criss Angel on the black carpet premiere of Criss’ new show Believe. The two of them have denied being together but now that Holly isn’t with Hugh Hefner she is free to show that she loves Criss. How could she do that? I would totally stay with Hugh…even if I like Criss…I would stay with Hugh!

UPDATE: Extra has confirmed that they are in fact dating. Who knows Criss looks like he has cleaned up a bit. May be Holly can make him an honest man.

Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony, snuck away for the night and went to see Criss Angel‘s Believe show in Las Vegas. After the show Jennifer and Marc partied with Criss at LAX at a VIP table. I know everyone has said the Believe show is a disappointment which is sad, Criss has been really excited about it and I hope it gets better reviews.

I just have one question with this picture…who is the biggest douche?

Pamela Anderson decided to let a dummy escort her to the Vivienne Westwood show in London on Thursday. There have been blogs saying they know who it is…most of them say Michael Jackson…but I disagree. This dummy knows how to move. Isn’t Michael in a wheelchair?

And also this week Pamela said that she just lives paycheck to paycheck…

“I do [live] check to check,” she says. “I don’t like having a lot of money in the bank. I love the experience of struggling a little bit.”
