Dakota Fanning Joins Kristen Stewart in ‘Runaways’

dakota-fanning-tyg-000730

Dakota Fanning is already starring with Kristen Stewart in the Twilight Sequel New Moon, and now she’s been cast with her again in The Runaways

Dakota Fanning is negotiating to play lead singer Cheri Currie in ”The Runaways,”the biopic of the ’70s all-girl band that already has ”Twilight” star Kristen Stewart playing Joan Jett.

Scripted and directed by Floria Sigismondi, the film begins production in late spring.

At 15, Fanning is the same age Currie was when she made her debut with the Runaways as the lead singer who belted out hard-edged tunes like “Cherry Bomb.” Currie became caught up in drugs and a hard-partying lifestyle.

Doesn’t excite me as a movie, but Fanning is a really good actress.

lupus la ball 020508newmoon_myversion

Here’s an interview with Dakota Fanning about her roll in the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon.

MoviesOnline: Speaking of roles, can you talk a little bit about Twilight and the reports that youve signed on for New Moon? Have you sealed the deal yet?

Dakota: Its not 100% yet set in stone but its definitely not like totally untrue or a rumor or anything. Its definitely a possibility and I think it would be really, really fun to be a part of. Im a big fan of the cast and to join them would be a really great honor and I really hope that it works out and I hope I can give you a definite answer soon.

MoviesOnline: What is it about it that youre looking forward to most?

Dakota: I think just playing an evil vampire. Thats really cool. So, if I got to do it, that would be probably the most fun part.

Dakota Fanning: A Natural Knockout

Dakota Fanning

New Moon’s ‘Jane’, aka Dakota Fanning was at the premiere of ‘Push‘ at the Mann Theatre in Westwood, California.

I think Dakota was such a little, doll in her younger years of acting. She is now growing up into a gorgeous, blonde beauty. Dakota Fanning has all the style, class, and sophistication that you could ask for. She is still so young, yet beyond her years in maturing and acting abilities.

I am looking forward to seeing her in New Moon as well as all of her upcoming films.

Dakota looked stunning on the red carpet. Her dress was perfect for her. Her hair and makeup were so natural. This girl is so pure. I hope she stays that way and doesn’t let the fame and fortune ever change who she is.

Dakota Fanning is ‘New Moon’ Vampire Jane

Dakota Fanning has been offered a part in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

It’s possible. I can exclusively report that the 14-year-old child star?she turns?15?on Feb. 23?is in talks to play Jane opposite?Robert Pattinson?& Co. in?New Moon, the upcoming sequel to box office megahitTwilight.

?There were no auditions,? a source reveals. ?They just offered it to her outright, and now they?re in negotiations. They?ve been going back and forth.?

Jane is a member of Italy?s Volturi, the most deadly group of bloodsucking killers in author?Stephenie Meyer?s best-selling series.

In the?casting notice we got our hands on?earlier this month, Jane is described as a petite blonde with a ?Botticelli angel-like face?[and] crimson irises.? While fellow Volturi guards Demetri & Felix ?are three times the size of her, they are terrified of her,? the casting notice reads.

She’s a great actress, hopefully she can bring a little quality to the movie.

‘Push’ Poster And Details

This is the poster for the upcoming film Push staring Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning. Here’s the plot synopsis.

A riveting action-thriller, Push burrows deep into the deadly world of psychic espionage where artificially enhanced paranormal operatives have the ability to move objects with their minds, see the future, create new realities and kill without ever touching their victims. Against this setting, a young man and a teenage girl take on a clandestine agency in a race against time that will determine the future of civilization. The Division, a shadowy government agency, is genetically transforming citizens into an army ofpsychicwarriorsand brutally disposing of those unwilling to participate. Nick Gant (Chris Evans), a second-generation telekinetic or mover, has been in hiding since the Division murdered his father more than a decade earlier. He has found sanctuary in densely populated Hong Kongthe last safe place on earth for fugitive psychics like himbut only if he can keep his gift a secret.Nick is forced out of hiding when Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), a 13-year-oldclairvoyantor watcher, seeks his help in finding Kira, (Camilla Belle), an escaped pusher who may hold the key to ending the Divisions program. Pushers possess the most dangerous of allpsychicpowers: the ability to influence others actions by implanting thoughts in their minds. But Cassies presence soon attracts the attention of the Divisions human bloodhounds, forcing Nick and Cassie to flee for their lives. With the help of a team of rogue psychics, the unlikely duo traverses the seedy underbelly of the city, trying to stay one step ahead of the authorities as they search for Kira. But they find themselves square in the crosshairs of Division Agent Henry Carver (Djimon Hounsou), a pusher who will stop at nothing to keep them from achieving their goal.

I’m psychically predicting this one is not a winner. The trailer hasn’t even come out yet and the movie is being released onFebruary 6th, 2009.
