Spike TV powered up Saturday night with the 2010 Video Game Awards, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris in Los Angeles at the LA Convention Center. The How I Met Your Mother star also was the recipient of the award for Best Human Performance, Male as the voice of Peter Parker/Spider-Man for the game Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions.

Dane Cook is mad at the State of California.  He received a tax lien for $515,430.43 in unpaid taxes and penalties from 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Isolated Incident – Dane Cook Is DONE With Movies!

Dane Cook told TMZ the the lien “was erroneously filed by the State of California” and adds that “they are in the process of removing this mistaken lien from their records.”

Wow.  That’s a huge mistake Cali!  Arnold, say you’re sorry!

Do you think that the desperately broke state was hoping Dane wouldn’t notice and that they could make a quick “buck?”

Dane Cook is returning to his roots as a stand-up comic.  He is over the movie scene for now and is ready to entertain us all from the stage once again.

“No film. No TV stuff……Unless [director Steven] Spielberg calls, I’m a full-time stand-up comic!”

Dane Cook will be kicking off the second part of his ISolated INcident Global Thermo Comedy Tour in New York City on November 5th.

“I want you to look back and say that was one of the funniest nights of your life .  I am seeing someone, but comedy is my mistress!”

Well, we love you on the stage and on the big screen, Dane.  Just make sure you do more movies down the road.  Until then, we will laugh our @sses off watching you on stage.
