David Hasselhoff Taken To Hospital For Alcohol Poisoning

David Hasselhoff

Earlier today (September 20) an ambulance was called to home of David Hasselhoff, and someone was taken from the residence. Los Angeles City Fire Department Bryan Humphries said,

“One city fire ambulance responded to an unknown medical emergency at 3:15 PM at Louise Street in Encino and transported one individual with an unknown illness to a local hospital.”

Due to HIPAA laws, it is unlawful for any medical employees the give out the identity of any of their patients. But it is being said that it was Hasselhoff that was taken to the hospital for alcohol poisoning, again.

He had been taken to the hospital in May for alcohol poisoning as well.

‘Baywatch’ Movie Finally Coming

You read it right, Baywatch is coming to the big screen after all these years.

Mitch and CJ are headed back to the beach…and the big screen. Baywatch, the hit ’90s TV show that made Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff a household name, is being developed into a film.

Variety reports that Paramount Pictures has hired Jeremy Garelick to rewrite and direct the new movie into a comedy film.

He told Variety, “It felt like the template to do a movie that was similar to ‘Stripes’ and ‘Police Academy,’ the comedies I loved growing up. Rather than trying to pitch the tone, I figured it would be easier to write the first act to convey who these characters were.”

I’m glad the approach won’t be serious, it needs to be a comedy. Hopefully they can gather the old cast together for some wave jogging. Regardless of how good or bad this movie is, it will do well.

David Hasselhoff Hospitalized With Alcohol Poisoning

So much for David Hasselhoff‘s purported sobriety.  He has been admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital with a case of alcohol poisoning.

He was driven to the hospital by his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, after their daughter found The Hoff unconscious on the floor of his home.

A source said Hasselhoff was “barely breathing when they got him to the hospital,” where his blood alcohol level was measured at .39.

“This is about the seventh time he’s been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning.”

Obviously the alcohol has killed a few too many brain cells, because really, it should only take one trip to the hospital with alcohol poisoning to get that YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!   Get thee to rehab, David.  Like, now.

David Hasselhoff Gives Up Womanizing

david-hasselhoff-scott-mills

You know what they say about unintended consequences?  David Hasselhoff has successfully (so far) given up drinking, and now that he’s sober, he finds groupies “boring.”

British DJ Scott Mills spent four days with The Hoff filming the television special The Hoff: When Scott Came To Stay, and he was surprised at the new, reformed Hasselhoff.

“We went to Las Vegas together and various ladies were throwing themselves at him — but he really wasn’t interested.  He’s not looking for that type of woman — he’s bored by them. He’s been divorced for three or four years now, and needs and wants to find himself a lady. He’s looking for love again.”

Mills reports that Hasselhoff seems to only have one vice anymore:

“He drinks a lot of strong coffee all the time, and that’s it.”

If that’s the worst thing he does, he’s doing pretty well.  I think this cleaned up Hoff sounds kind of boring, but he’s probably healthier this way.

Wanna Kick David Hasselhoff’s Butt? Now You Can!

David Hasselhoff

I don’t know why I am so obsessed with The Hoff, but here I go blogging about him again. David Hasselhoff appears as a character in a new video game, PAIN Movie Lot, in which “players get to smash, bash and trash characters.”

In the irreverently comedic game, a player can take a virtual Hasselhoff replete with a Knight Rider jump suit emblazoned with “The Hoff” on the back though a series of collisions and pratfalls and score points for how much pain they can make the onetime German pop star endure.

What does The Hoff himself think? He’s totally down with this new Playstation 3 game.

“The idea of ‘hurting The Hoff’ or ‘hassling The Hoff’ was just hysterical to me,” Hasselhoff, 56, tells PEOPLE. “I don’t know why, I think it was from growing up watching the Three Stooges and the idea of hurting yourself was funny to me.”

He even recorded a cover of the Culture Club‘s “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me” as a bonus download for the game. I may have to buy a PS3 in order to check this out… kicking David Hasselhoff’s (virtual) ass would be so worth it!

And be sure to check out the video preview of PAIN Movie Lot here.

David Hasselhoff Goes Vegas, Baby!

Watch out, Wayne Newton! Step aside, Cirque du Soleil! Move over, Celine Dion – oh wait, you already did. The Hoff is coming to town with a “Sin City spectacle that pokes fun at his life.” Yes, friends – David Hasselhoff is working on a biographical Las Vegas show to be called Viva Hoff Vegas. He tells In Touch‘s May 26 issue:

“It’ll be a little about Baywatch, Knight Rider and Germany, so I’m putting together a crazy show that tells my story.”

Now this is what Vegas is all about – ridiculously fabulous camp! I hope he doesn’t leave out the Spongebob chapter of his life!
