There’s no nice way for me to say this:  Demi Lovato completely destroyed a red carpet opportunity at the Latin Grammy Awards last night.    Her purple dress by Roland Mouret (quite fabulous actually) had a lot of potential.  However, Lovato chose to wear it backwards, which gave it a plunging neckline reminiscent of Jennifer Lopez‘s at the 2000 Grammy Awards.    A bold decision for sure, but when you add in the fact that the dress is clearly too big for her – it’s too long at the hemline and the sleeves – it just doesn’t work.    Her overdone hair (still not sure what I think of her new color) and makeup just add to the impression of a little girl playing dress up in Auntie Jenny From The Block’s closet.

Demi Lovato has a bright new ‘do she’s sporting.

The “Skyscraper” singer posted two photos of herself after visiting a salon. Lovato is no longer a brunette – she’s a redhead!

“Just woke up from a nap.. Can’t believe I fell asleep before tweeting this………..” Lovato said, attaching a photo.

She later sent a second photo (below) where her hair was “not as orange” looking as the first.

Lovato, 19, who was recently spotted kissing her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, will begin a tour shortly to support her album Unbroken.

She joked on twitter with We The Kings guitarist Travis Clark (also a redhead) about a #gingertour.

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are a couple again, it would seem, as the two were caught making out in front of cameras.

Lovato, 19, and Valderrama, 31, locked lips outside his home on Tuesday morning with their arms wrapped around each other.

The “Skyscraper” singer went to a party for Seth MacFarlane in October where she met up Valderrama and the two reportedly did not try to hide their on-again romance.

Lovato dated Valderrama before entering a treatment facility last year for personal and emotional issues at this time. Since checking out in January, she has reconnected with the That 70s Show actor a number of times.

Valderrama has been open about some of his more famous relationships in the past. He told radio host Howard Stern that he took Mandy Moore‘s virginity, that Ashlee Simpson was “a screamer” and he dated Lindsay Lohan until 2004.

Ashley Greene grabbed the November cover of Allure and shared a surprising tidbit with the magazine.

Greene, 24, was asked about the “feud” she and Demi Lovato were rumored to have over Joe Jonas.

Jonas was dating Lovato when he broke it off and started dating Greene. Greene accompanied Joe on more than one stop of the Camp Rock 2 tour and it was widely reported that there was bad blood between the two young stars.

But Ashley refutes that, saying it simply never was the case.

“She and I never had a problem with each other. But, you know, it doesn’t go away…. Jen Aniston still gets asked about Angelina Jolie.”

That is a little different from her Teen Vogue interview where the publication said Greene’s publicist refused to allow questions about a fight Demi and Ashley had on a plane. (For the record, Lovato’s rep denied the story.)

Greene also intimated that only some young stars who are involved in negative behavior are the ones the press focuses on:

“Plenty of Disney kids are perfectly normal and love what they do. But you always hear about the people who aren’t doing well. It’s kind of like the squeaky wheel.”

While she never said she was referring to Lovato, Greene sang her then-boyfriend Jonas’ and her LOL costar Miley Cyrus praises so it gave the impression it was about Lovato, who at the time she gave the interview, was in rehab.

So what do you think? Was there never any issue between the two and it was all media driven? Or is this a bit of revisionist history?

Demi Lovato‘s new album, Unbroken, dropped on Tuesday and she was one of the first to pick up a copy.   She hit up a Best Buy in New York City at midnight to buy her own copy of the new CD.  Just doing her part to make sure her sales stay up!

Demi Lovato is one celebrity who always takes time to thank her fans.

The 19 year-old singer took another opportunity to tell them how much she appreciated their support through her toughest times and how grateful she is for their love.

“I could never imagine my life would turn out this way,” Demi said in the video. “Sure, I had my hopes, but I never thought that I would be performing in front of thousands of people or surrounded by a never-ending spree of unbelievably supportive fans.”

Lovato continued by briefly mentioning her time spent in rehab and how alone she felt then.

“Last year everything stopped, and for the next three months I woke up in a treatment center every day, away from my family and friends. I spent a lot of time and holidays thinking there. I thought about the sadness that I felt, the pain that I was in, and the addictions that I was struggling from.”

While Demi is speaking, a preview of her next single “Fix A Heart” plays in the background. The song is a piano-heavy ballad that highlights Lovato’s strong vocals much like her first single “Skyscraper” off her upcoming album Unbroken.

Unbroken drops Tuesday, September 20th.

Demi Lovato looked magnificent at the 2011 NCLR ALMA Awards which were held at The Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The 19 year-old star chose a floor-length, nude, pleated gown with plunging neckline from Maria Lucia Honan. Lovato swept her hair up and back and chose gold accessories to accent her beautiful dress. Her make-up was soft, shimmering and flawless.

Lovato was honored with an award as the Favorite TV Actress – Leading Role in a Comedy for her former Disney show Sonny With A Chance.

As if Demi Lovato hasn’t been through enough lately, the singer has found herself the target of critics who scrutinized her body at the 2011 MTV VMAs in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The 19 year-old “Skyscraper” singer wore a cleavage-bearing, silver Mandalay dress that showed off her body.

When photos surfaced, she was singled out on twitter for her weight gain and subjected to comments about her figure which come off as especially cruel considering Lovato was in rehab late last year/early this year for treatment of (among other issues) an eating disorder.

Lovato didn’t take kindly to the barbs and told those who were pointing it out to “deal with it.”

“I’ve gained weight. Get over it. That’s what happens when you get out of treatment for AN EATING DISORDER,” she tweeted.

Demi later removed that tweet and went for something a bit gentler in tone, making it clear that she is stronger now than ever.

“Guess what, I’m healthy and happy, and if you’re hating on my weight you obviously aren’t.”

I find it unfathomable that people would comment and contribute to her self-esteem issues in such a callous manner.

Demi Lovato stepped out on the red carpet for the 2011 Do Something Awards at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The 18 year-old singer wore a flirty silver and white halter dress from Burning Torch with Guiseppe Zanotti heels.

Lovato performed her single “Skyscraper” for the audience and wowed the crowd with her moving rendition of her first single from her upcoming solo album Unbroken.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were married today, August 20, in Montecito, California.

The entire Kardashian-Jenner family seemed to have a role in the wedding.

Kim was attended by her sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as co-maids of honor.  Younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner served as bridesmaids along with Humphries’ sister Kaela.   Brother Robert Kardashian was a groomsman, and Kourtney’s son Mason Disick, just 20 months old, was the ring bearer.  Kim’s stepfather Bruce Jenner walked her down the aisle.

The couple’s 440 guests included many well-known Hollywood figures, including Mario Lopez, Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest, Melanie Brown, Avril Lavigne, Sugar Ray Leonard, Greta Van Sustren, Venus and Serena Williams, and  Dina, Ali and Lindsay Lohan.   Vera Wang, who made Kim’s wedding gown, also attended.

Wang actually made three dresses for Kim’s big day.   The wedding gown featured a full tulle skirt and Chantilly lace appliques.   For the reception, Kim wore two very different dresses:  a mermaid-style with more Chantilly lace, and a V-neck bias cut number with a circle skirt.   All three dresses were ivory.

The entire extravaganza will be revealed in a two-part E! special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, in October.
