Gossip Girl: The CW’s teen drama is expected to return in late April with the remaining 9 episodes. Under that scenario, the struggling network would extend its official TV season into the summer. “Gossip Girl” was the first freshman drama to receive a full-season pickup last October, and would possibly be the only hour-long drama to film a full season of 22 episodes.
Ugly Betty: ABC’s sophomore comedy would come back this spring for 4 additional episodes, bringing the season total to 17. Executive producer Silvio Horta has said to Entertainment Weekly the writers would however have to tweak the planned storylines as they were originally mapped out for a 23-episode season. 13 episodes have aired thus far.

Marrying Eva Longoria hasn’t appeared to slow basketball star Tony Parker down when it comes to ladies. According to an exclusive with X17online, french beauty Alexandra Paressant claims to have first met Parker at his wedding to the Desperate Housewives star and carried on a two month affair afterwards.
According to Alex, she and Tony were introduced by superstar French soccer player Thierry Henry at the huge July 7 nuptials last summer. They exchanged phone calls for a couple of months then saw each other in Paris at the end of September (while Tony was in town to receive the Legion of Honor) and in San Antonio in October.
Alex has given X17online samples of what she says are text messages with Tony exchanged at the end of September, just after the two slept together, Alex claims, at the Park Hyatt (where Eva and Tony and their wedding party stayed!)

Don’t get too scared if you see too many headlines on the event of the year at Backseatcuddler.com, the wedding everybody is talking about, the biggest thing in Paris after the Eiffel Tower, Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria’s snatch up with San Antonio Spurs’ guard, Tony Parker. After all, Backseatcuddler.com writers strive to bring you the best and latest information on what’s going on, and Longoria and Parker are definitely going on.
Let me get off by saying they both deserve each other. As an obsessed autograph collector, I met Parker and he is a super nice person. I can’t talk for Longoria but I have not heard a bad word about her from fellow autograph collectors either so I am assuming she must be nice and appreciating of her fans.
But that’s not what I came here to talk about today. I am a Backseatcuddler.com writer, for Christ’s sakes, so I shouldn’t bore you out with stories I may tell my grandchildren someday if I can get a woman to hold on to me. I came here to talk fashion, because I know you love fashion, and so do I, so do I.
Eva Longoria is such a teaser. After weeks of having us guess whether she was wearing a Vera Wang, a Monique Lhullier or God knows what else, she settled for a gown designed by Venezuelan designer Angel Sanchez, a respected pin artist who has over 20 years in the fashion business. Longoria obviously knows her fashion, because Sanchez has also dressed other luminaries such as Thalia, Giselle Bundchen, Iman, Bridget Moynahan, Queen Latifah and others. This is not the first time Sanchez and Longoria are paired, as he also designed her evening dress for the Emmy awards in 2005. Sanchez also had the honor of collaborating with Sandra Bullock as he made the wedding gown she used in 2005 and the dress she was seen at the Oscars with in 2006. With so many beautiful women touched by his dresses and so much beauty and dedication put into their making, I can only say I wish I was one of his creations myself. One night of touching Queen Latifah’ s or Sandra Bullock’s skin and legs would definitely make my day, not to mention my entire life!
Without the wedding’s photos out yet as Longoria and Parker accepted a payment by a magazine for exclusive photo rights, I cannot comment much on Longoria’s choice of outfit but assure you that she probably made the right choice and that she looked beautiful. The day Eva Longoria looks ugly will be the day Champ D’ Elysses wakes up in the middle of Kansas City. But, far from Kansas City and Paris, just who is this Angel Sanchez that works out of Caracas and New York?
He may sound like the new kid on the block, but he isn’t. I mean, after 20 years out there, who is a new kid on the block? More like an old kid on the block if you ask me, but also a man who is a student of the fashion world and who executes with precision when it comes down to designing. Sanchez prefers soft, pastel colors such as White and Carnation, earning points for elegance and style. Better known designers like Oscar De La Renta, Wang and one of my personal favorites, Donna Karan, get most of the headlines but Sanchez is like the boxing trainer in a fighter’s corner at a world championship fight: For a practically behind the scenes worker, he does a pretty darn good job at making his subjects look excellent.
Meanwhile, Teri Hatcher, one of Longoria’s Desperate Housewives partners in crime, looked sparkling in a ocean blue dress and matching necklace, and her silver stilletos combined perfectly with her dress. Nicolette Sheridan probably wore the prettiest color of the day, choosing a pink dress that was rather appropiate but also reminded me of a cotton candy ball, Brenda Strong had a nice and revealing-and I consider revealing nice because I am a man after all!-silver and black outfit and Felicity Huffman showed up with a very elegant, winterfresh dress. Even the security men, seen near the stars on the photos that could be sneaked, looked rather dapper with their suits, and this is considering that as the above self declared autograph collector, I have seen my share of security men, from the ones Hilary Duff routinely disobeys by coming over to meet her fans anyways to the ones that cover Don King more than the Secret Service does George W. Bush. As for Brenda Strong, let’s just say that silver and black looks much better on her than it does on 260 pound Oakland Raiders guys.
As for the wedding itself, it was like, well, a secret service operation. I guess we shall get used to these hide and seek weddings, which are the trend as of lately, ever since Oscar De La Hoya and Millie Corretjer had theirs blocked from photographers and the general public in San Juan, Puerto Rico with-of all things-bed quilts. Mark Anthony and Jennifer Lopez also had a super secret wedding. The Longoria-Parker knot tying event took place at the Church of Saint Germain l’ Auxerrois in Paris, after days of speculation whether they were going to say “I do” at the Vaux-le-Vicomte chateau southeast of the French capital. The wedding, as Tony Parker had hinted, may have included a French made cake, but with this catch me if you can game the couple played on the eyes of the watching world the last week or so, one can’t be sure about that either.
One word about celebrities. Like each of us, they deserve privacy and to be respected when they look for a private moment with family and friends. However, in this world of overblown fame, they must understand that the moment the spotlight hits on them, they have to share their tragedies and successes with the public, because usually the public sees them as an extended part of their own families or friend’s groups. After all, they do come into our houses fairly commonly through the television and internet screens. I certainly don’t think any of you would care about my wedding shall I have one of those in the future or my dentist’s appointment but shall we get to that point, you will see photos of me sitting and reading Glam Magazine at my dentist’s office on a tabloid or whatever and I won’t be covering my face with the magazine’s cover. There is a responsibility with becoming well known that a lot of people don’t want to take, and that is the fact that they have to, to a certain extent, share their lifes with the public because the public has received them with open arms.
As far as the Parker-Longoria wedding, it was filled with Hollywood and NBA stars, it was luxurious, elegant and very well publicized. It was all the Wedding of the Decade should be.
That is, the wedding that will be Wedding of the Decade in Paris until the next big Hollywood wedding takes place there!!

According to the Daily Mirror, Jesse Metcalfe, the hunky gardener from Desperate Housewives may soon be baring it all, replacing Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in the West End production of Equus.
Metcalfe, seemingly following the trend of young Hollywood, is currently in rehab after a four day drunken binge in LA.
He may want to leave those shears behind.
