Sean “Diddy” Combs, whatever his name is now, is the 2,362nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So many people that shouldn’t really ever get a star but are actually there (cough *Rick Martin* cough), that Diddy’s star comes a little late in my opinion.

Better late than never!! Family and friends were there to celebrate with Diddy, who made a short but emotional speech specially thanking his mother:

“Today is one of the best days of my life,” Diddy said. “Today is proof if you believe, all your dreams can come true. If it wasn’t for my mother, I wouldn’t be here. You can get a lot of honors, but there’s nothing that means as much as the love of your mother. This right here, I hope it makes you proud Mom. I love you so much. I owe my whole life to you.”

Diddy step away!! Of course the 16 months old twins, D’Lila Star and Jessie James were the real stars of this story and the only reason to have Diddy in here! SO Cute!!!

Diddy’s clothing line, Sean John has the new slogan tee everyone is clamouring for since he wore it for the finale of Making The Band 4. Us Weekly is reporting that Puff Daddy (or whatever his name is this week) is planning to launch a car service for celebrities who are too impaired to drive.

His rep says, “After partnering with Ciroc vodka, he wants to make sure everyone’s partying responsibly.”

In what I’m sure was far more interesting than a washed up pop stripper missing her lip synching cues, Kid Rock and Tommy Lee brought back the old skool rock ’n’ roll fistfight.

Deatils at to what started the fight are still  sketchy, but an eyewitness tells TMZ that “Tommy got it pretty bad.”

Both Kidd and Lee were escorted out of the awards by Palms Security moments after the altercation, caught on camera by Reuters photographer Steven Marcus, took place.

Kid Rock has been questioned by the LVPD and released. It will be interesting to find out what happened, in particular and if Tommy Lee will press charges or sue Kid Rock for making him look like a chump…

You all saw it. Admit it. We all watched, hoping for a return to her former glory. What we got instead was a terrified girl who looked like it was her first performance at her dance recital. Her lip synching was off and she almost stumbled, rather than danced her way thru her number. She was afraid to commit to her performance and it looked no different than the rehersal shots that were shown on MTV’s website.

The crowd shots said it all with Diddy & 50 cent looking confused by the sad spectacle. Where was Criss Angel’s influence in this mess? At least we could’ve had some smoke and mirrors to spice it up.

So what do you think? Is her career dead? Is this another very shrewd marketing scheme to keep the blogs talking about Britney? Is she that brilliant? In an effort to find a personal assistant, Diddy is urging prospective employees to send in a video application.

In the one-minute clip, Diddy sits at his desk in his New York City office and encourages fans to apply for the gig online. “What better job than to have me scream at you, go crazy, keep you up late hours, have you sleep deprived?” he asks.
