Dita Von Teese Is An L.A. Party Girl

Dita Von Teese

The fabulous Dita Von Teese was a gala girl this past Saturday night.  She made an appearance at two Hollywood parties:  the Museum of Contemporary Art‘s “An Artist’s Life Manifesto” and the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center 40th Anniversary Gala and Auction.

DVT rocked a gothic/bondage styled black gown from Jean Paul Gaultier Couture circa Fall 2002.  Her look was reminiscent of Morticia Addams, and I really mean that in the best way possible.

More photos from both events’ red carpets after the jump.

Dita Von Teese Is Ravishing In Red

Dita Von Teese

Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese attended the New York premiere of God Save My Shoes at the Paris Theater.  Dita makes an appearance in the documentary, which “explores the intimate relationship women have with their shoes.”

Dita chose a monochromatic look for the premiere.  She wore a red, belted Elie Saab dress with an asymmetrical neckline.  And as for her shoes?  Silk peep-toes by Christian Louboutin, of course.

The Burlesque beauty queen wore a colorful Moschino Cheap and Chic Spring 2011 multi-print dress and cute espradrilles as she checked out the bands. She was accompanied by her boyfriend Louis Marie de Castelbajac for the performances.

Dita Von Teese Turns On The Va Va Voom For Renault (Video)

My favorite corset-sporting sexy vixen Dita Von Teese is the star of a new ad by French car maker Renault.  Dita does a strip tease (with her back to the camera) in this stylish commercial full of iconic images, including Audrey Hepburn, Marlon Brando and David Bowie.    The ad implies that Dita is, herself, the Queen of Va Va Voom, and I have got to say I agree.  Enjoy the show!

Dita Von Teese’s Sexy Show ‘Strip, Strip Hooray!’

Burlesque performer Dita von Teese gave a sexy set for the show “Strip, Strip Hooray!” at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood. Von Teese was asked how she felt about the Cher/Christina Aguilera film “Burlesque,” Dita claims to have been too busy to see it but said:

“I will see it on video,” Von Teese quipped. “Because apparently it’s going to be there pretty quick.”

Ouch. Well, Von Teese will be able to sip on her own Private Cointreau Cocktail when she does.

Dita Von Teese At Erotica 2010

Dita Von Teese was at Erotica 2010 over at the Kensington Olympia in London, England soaking in all the raunchy nudists all over the place and signing copies of her book.

I don’t get her at all.  She looks so prim and proper, and then you look around and realize Dita Von Teese is a very naughty girl.

Dita Von Teese Channels Horton Hears A Who – Photos

Dita Von Teese was seen out and about at Paris Fashion Week Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 – Sonia Rykiel in the arrivals area and OMG!  When I first saw her “hat” I went into hysterics!  The first thing tha popped into my head was Dr. Suess’ Horton Hears A Who.  The clover that Horton carried and protected with the spec full of Who’s on it…. it’s jumbo sized and sitting on Dita’s head!

Dita Von Teese Covers GenLux Fall 2010

Yes, I know it’s fashion.  But really?

Dita Von Teese Covers GenLux Fall 2010

The ever-fabulous Dita Von Teese is GenLux‘s cover girl for their Fall 2010 issue.  I am really starting to count on GenLux for creatively styled, beautifully photographed, uniquely imagined, totally and utterly disturbing cover shoots.  (See what they did to Jessica Alba here.)

In this issue, Dita appears to be having some issues with potted plants and planted money.  What they did to deserve such treatment, I am sure I don’t know.  Dita looks fantastic, though, in Marchesa and Louis Vuitton.   Don’t forget to check out her really quite revealing interview at Genlux.com.
