Revlon has grabbed two of the most sought-after actresses and added them to their beauty roster.
Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde have joined the cosmetics giant and will be the retailer’s latest Global Brand Ambassadors starting in 2012.
Stone, 22, says she’s proud to be added to the list of famous beauties who have endorsed the brand and stands behind the company’s legacy of breast cancer awareness.
“I have been familiar with Revlon for as long as I can remember,” Stone says in a press statement. “I vividly recall my mom wearing Revlon makeup and I remember getting to the age when I was finally able to wear Revlon myself. As a brand, it is a leader and innovator in the world of cosmetic beauty. To me, nothing is more important than inner beauty and I am so glad to be associated with a company that recognizes, supports, and positively impacts women’s issues, such as breast cancer awareness. Revlon recognizes that every woman is multifaceted and magnificent in their own way and the expression of individuality is as important to Revlon as it is to me. I’m honored to be part of the Revlon family.”
Wilde, 27, also recognizes Revlon’s commitment to women’s health issues.
I have always admired Revlon and their commitment to giving women the confidence and tools they need to feel beautiful, both inside and out,” adds Wilde. “Creatively, Revlon has never been afraid to push the envelope, which is important to me. I also love that they use their tremendous recognizability around the world to do good as one of the industry’s biggest champions of women’s health. It’s exciting to join a company with a big heart and big ideas!”
Both stars will help with Revlon’s philanthropic causes as well as be the faces for new and existing products. The ads begin launching next year but sneak peeks will hit Revlon’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Stone and Wilde have four films between them at the box office currently. Emma is in Crazy, Stupid, Love & The Help and Wilde has The Change Up and Cowboys & Aliens in theaters nationwide.
