New Full-Length Trailer For Disney Pixar’s ‘Brave’

The first full-length trailer for Brave – the Disney Pixar 3D film of Scottish heroine Merida and her journey to find true bravery.

Merida (voiced by Kelly Macdonald) makes a wish from a witch that doesn’t turn out as planned and she confronts tradition, her destiny and a few crazy beasts along the way.

The visuals are lush and gorgeous, as expected and the vocal talent is superb – costarring along with Macdonald are Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane, Craig Ferguson and Billy Connolly.

And of course there is crazy Scotsman mooning the crowd in a kilt – what can I say, it was funny.

Brave will be in theaters June 22, 2012.

Watch the trailer below. (Read the article)

Here’s the teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel Nanny McPhee & The Big Bang.

I didn’t see the first film, but it was well received by the public as well as critics. I’m sure the kids will be thrilled at the release of this one.

Maggie Gyllenhaal Joins ‘Nanny McPhee’ Sequel

Maggie Gyllenhaal has signed on for Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang with Emma Thompson.

Maggie Gyllenhaal has boarded “Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang,” …

The action this time centers on a group of kids who are evacuated from the city to a farm during wartime.

I didn’t see the first film, and I don’t think I ever could if only because of the horrible age makeup. I’m sure enough kids will want to see the sequel that will probably look equally as creepy.

Emma Thompson Thinks Herpes Is Funny

Or at least she used to.

Emma Thompson recently revealed to Newsweek that she was a comedian before she became an actor… and dished about her less than polite material too:

Did you do stand-up?
Yeah. It was awful, I gave it up because I couldn’t earn a living, and it was bloody frightening.

What were your jokes about?
It was all rude. It was to do with sexually transmitted diseases, basically, herpes and things like that, which doesn’t necessarily go down well with everyone.

Are you pulling my leg?
No it’s true, it’s true. I swear to God. I did jokes about herpes all the time.

Can you imagine this? Emma Thompson, who is now well known for playing roles by Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and Evelyn Waugh, used to tell herpes jokes on stage! In her proper British accent no less! I would pay so much money to see that!
