I’m really looking forward to seeing this movie, especially now that the good early reviews are pouring in. This should be the first fun movie of 2010. Is out on January 8th.

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming film Brooklyn’s Finest.
This trailer certainly grabbed my attention. Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Wesley Snipes, Ethan Hawke with director Antoine Fuqua? That’s a whole lot of talent invested in one movie. I’m very intrigued, and that’s rare for this type of movie.

This one could really go either way but I’m hoping it’s good! The first trailer had me much more enthralled than this one. If it relies too heavily on being an action film, the whole thing will fall apart.

Here’s the new poster for the upcoming film Daybreakers.
With an explosive bat screech, “Daybreakers” flies to the year 2019, a future where Earth has been plagued by a worldwide vampiric outbreak. But this isn’t a world rife with anarchy. Society is much like it is now – everyday life soldiers on, but now the politicians, workers, and inhabitants have pointed teeth and a thirst for blood. Life is now conducted by night, and things seem orderly, except for one big problem- the blood is running out. There’s not enough “food” to feed the world and scientists like Ethan Hawke’s Edward are hired with the task of finding a substitute – not a “True Blood” sort of dish for political correctness, but a source of nourishment that will end the rapidly increasing starvation the world faces, as starving bloodsuckers turn into “subsiders” — a sort of human-sized vampire bat. Meanwhile, desperate for food, the military vampires hunt the streets for the human stragglers who have not been changed. At the head of both quests is blood-centric businessman Charles Bromley (Sam Neill) – a man who loves his undead life and the human reality it saved him from, even though his turning lost him his human daughter (who has run away to try and live out her human life).

This movie really looks cool, it’s hard to pull off a good vampire film. This really looks like an interesting hybrid of the film Children of Men and Blade. I’d see it based solely on the trailer.

Why would Uma Thurman be hanging out with this nanny-boinking scumbag?
According to Page Six, the Kill Bill hottie was out with her ex-hubby Ethan Hawke yesterday visiting their children at school.
The pair, who were married for six years but divorced in 2004, met up yesterday afternoon at the school of their children, nine-year-old Maya and Levon Roan, 6. Having seen those kinds of forms before ourselves, we think it looks like parent-teacher conference week in Lower Manhattan.
Hawke recently knocked up his Uma-look-alike nanny Ryan Shawhughes.

In Touch is reporting that actor Ethan Hawke and Ryan Shawhughes, 28, are expecting their first child.
Says a friend, They are over the moon!
Ethan, 37, first met Shawhughes when she worked as a nanny for him during his marriage to Uma Thurman.
Hawke already has two kids with Uma. Knocking up the nanny…not classy!
