Evangeline Lilly looked amazing at the premiere of Looking For Eric today at the Cannes Film Festival. I know that I have been doing only posts from there, but really it’s the place to be. The dress Evangeline has on is breathtaking, I wish I knew who made it because I want one for myself.

I am still bummed that Lost won’t be returning until January of 2010. How am I going to live that long? I need to know what happened. (Okay, I haven’t seen the season finale yet but I know in true Lost fashion it has one heck of a cliffhanger. I’m sure that’s the only way that they get away with the almost year hiatus.)

Beauty company L’Oreal has named Evangeline Lilly and Freida Pinto as their new celebrity faces.

Lost actress Lilly says that she is excited to

“represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person’s aspirations to beauty.”

Slumdog Millionaire star Pinto is equally pleased:

“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of.”

It’s no surprise that L’Oreal would hire these two:  both of these women are gorgeous!   Congrats Evangeline and Freida!

Evangeline Lilly is one of my favorite Canadians. And this is why…she looks stunning at on the red carpet the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night at the NOKIA Theater in Los Angeles. She could easily sweep the awards by just her looks.

Evangeline Lilly got sick and almost died because she was too cheap to move out of her house!

Evangeline told talk show host Jay Leno: “I bought a house last summer and ended up finding out it was completely mould infested. I was getting poisoned by the mould and therefore got very ill for four months, but I didn’t move, even though I knew there was something wrong because I’m just really cheap. If I have to pay a mortgage and rent, I am not a happy person. Eventually my illness overrode my thriftiness so I moved.”

Yikes, that’s really scary that you would keep on letting yourself get sick like that…I’m sure you can afford it with all that money they are paying you on that TV show you are on!

The show LOST has great drama on screen and off. The pair bonding between Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly may be over in real life. Monaghan was seen recently with another attractive brunette at El Coyote restaurant in LA.

The pair chainsmoked and sipped margaritas but never ate a bite, not even the chips on their table. Their conversation was intense and very intimate. Outside at the valet pickup, people waiting for their cars couldn’t help but watch the couple clinging to each other - both were in tears. They kissed emotionally several times before leaving together in a black Toyota. Dominic is from the UK where it’s rumored that he and Evangeline are history. Maybe working together and dating too was just too much togetherness for the Lost stars.

It’s also worth noting the two (Lilly and Monaghan,) were seen together saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA.
