She’s just given birth to her first child, but Jessica Simpson isn’t leaving pregnancy clothing behind. The 31 year-old Fashion Star judge and mentor has just announced her burgeoning fashion empire is expanding with a line of maternity wear.

Simpson is teaming up with Destination Maternity for a fall debut and the clothing will be available their namesake stores and website along with Motherhood Maternity and Macy’s carrying the pieces.

Varying patterns, textures and styles for a 70s bohemian vibe, the line will include everything from maxi dresses and tops to denim and leggings and will start at a very reasonable $36.

“I’m so excited to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great!” Simpson said in a press release, ”You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off.”

Simpson may well take in the $1 billion in sales this year her fashion empire was projected to make.

Simpson just gave birth to her and fiance Eric Johnson‘s daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1st.

Mommy mogul, indeed.

The Bad Teacher star sparkled in a curve-hugging Stella McCartney champagne and diamond dress with draped, low back and flowing train.

The old-Hollywood glamour style gown was highlighted by Diaz’ simple hair and diamond earrings.

Cameron’s latest movie, What To Expect When You’re Expecting, co-starring Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock and Brooklyn Decker opens Friday, May 18th.

Beyonce attended the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” 2012 Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 7th, showing the crowd she’s got her body her back (as if there was ever any doubt!)

The new mother of Blue Ivy chose a sheer black Givenchy Couture gown with strategic black lace, sequins and appliques. The train featured a vibrant purplish-blue feathered trim.

The 30 year-old wore no jewelry to interfere with the ornate detailing of the dress and pulled her hair back for maxium effect.

She continued the minimalist look with light make-up and a lovely shade of coral on her lips.

King B is back in top form.

Nina Dobrev was simply stunning at the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” 2012 Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 7th.

The Vampire Diaries star looked elegant and poised in a black and gold Donna Karan Atelier column gown with asymmetrical shoulder details.

The 23 year-old paired her backless dress with simple H Stern jewelry.

“On my way to the MET BALL…can’t wait for everyone to see the dress! It’s heavy… Haha” she tweeted that night.

Dobrev, who was just in Barcelona, Spain at a TVD convention with her costar and off-screen boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, has the season three finale coming up this Thursday, May 10th. The episode has promised that her character Elena will choose between Damon (Somerhalder) and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley.)

Florence Welch wore an avant garde, fashion-forward look to the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” 2012 Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 7th.

The lead singer of Florence + The Machine chose a tiered, poufy, frilly look from Alexander McQueen.

The champagne colored, layered and embroidered dress with plunging sweetheart neckline and sheer overlay was a true high-fashion moment at the event.

Welch completed the look with a Sound of Music like braid, McQueen skull knuckle clutch and armadillo heels.

Not everyone will like this look but Florence is true to her own style and she chose a dress appropriate for a fashion shindig.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen returns to front the Spring/Summer campaign for Esprit.

The classic casual looks are amped up with bright splashes of color and crisp whites to compliment the seasonal lightweight fabrics.

The 31 year-old Brazilian model was hired by the company as part of it’s business strategy to turn around Esprit’s dismal earnings. Bundchen is apparently doing just that:

“Esprit’s first efforts under its new branding strategy have seen “very encouraging results”. The first campaign, which featured model Gisele Bündchen, helped raise consumer awareness, with a 9 percentage points rise to 59% in Germany, and a rise of 19 percentage points to 49% in China.”

Unfortunately for those of us in North America, part of that plan is closing the remaining Esprit stores so if you like the looks, you’ll have to look online.

The fuchsia shorts, khaki trench coat and white blazer are cute pieces.

Kristen Stewart ratchets up the rocker-girl glam while hitting the Paris fashion shows.

The Twilight: Breaking Dawn actress paired a motorcycle leather jacket with sheer, see-through black top and bra and skin tight dark jeans.

Stewart has been named the face of Balenciaga’s new fragrance and was seen earlier in the week at the fashion house’s catwalk show.

The 21 year-old chose figure-hugging leather pants, printed sleeveless top and high heels for her front row seat at the show.

Stewart and her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson attended some of the Oscar festivities the previous weekend and had fans swooning with the reports of their PDA at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.

Stewart will be seen in three movies this year: Snow White and The Huntsman this summer, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 and On The Road both later in the year.

Kristen Stewart‘s love of edgy couture has paid off for the young star.

Twilight‘s Bella Swan has landed the campaign for the Spanish design house soon-to-be-announced new fragrance and will front the forth coming ads for the scent.

“Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” Stewart said. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga.”

“It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now,” she continued. “The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

Creative Director Nicholas Ghesquière is fascinated with Stewart and says her personal style “embodies” the new perfume.

“Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,” he said. “From her early appearance in Panic Room to her independent choice of Welcome to the Rileys, I’ve always sensed her progressive character.”

“In 2006, I invited her to appear in a project shot by Bruce Weber. Since then, I’ve always wished to collaborate with her further, knowing that she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.”

Stewart has three films for release next year. The adaptation of Jack Kerouac‘s On The Road with Garrett Hedlund, Snow White and The Huntsman with Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron and of course, the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2.

Mila Kunis is the new face of Dior, and what a beautiful face she is.  In her first ads for the fashion house, she promotes the Dior Spring/Summer 2012 collection.    Front and center in this campaign are shoes and handbags, which are fabulous, but Mila makes it all look good.

For their part, Dior is very pleased with their new talent acquisition.  A rep said:

“Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman. Her performance in ‘Black Swan’ was remarkable. She is very gifted.  We are looking forward to a long relationship with her.”

Kate Winslet gets comfy (and sultry) on the couch of a New York penthouse for the latest round of ads for St John.

The British actress leans back in a grey silk wrap dress after pouring over scripts in the new spring 2012 ads for the fashion house shot by photographer Craig McDean.

“What I love too is the lines are a lot more relaxed, and yet at the same time they still give shape, so you get those lovely feminine curves, which to me are very, very important,” Winslet says of the collection in a behind-the-scenes video.

The Mildred Pierce actress talks up the brand’s appeal to lots of women of different sizes.

“You don’t have to be a size 2 or even a size 4 to be able to wear these garments because they fall so well, they’re cut for women with a shape, and of course I love that,” she says. “That’s me all over.”
