Kristen Stewart Lands Balenciaga New Fragrance Campaign

Kristen Stewart‘s love of edgy couture has paid off for the young star.

Twilight‘s Bella Swan has landed the campaign for the Spanish design house soon-to-be-announced new fragrance and will front the forth coming ads for the scent.

“Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” Stewart said. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga.”

“It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now,” she continued. “The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

Creative Director Nicholas Ghesquière is fascinated with Stewart and says her personal style “embodies” the new perfume.

“Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,” he said. “From her early appearance in Panic Room to her independent choice of Welcome to the Rileys, I’ve always sensed her progressive character.”

“In 2006, I invited her to appear in a project shot by Bruce Weber. Since then, I’ve always wished to collaborate with her further, knowing that she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.”

Stewart has three films for release next year. The adaptation of Jack Kerouac‘s On The Road with Garrett Hedlund, Snow White and The Huntsman with Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron and of course, the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2.

Mila Kunis For Dior Is Sexy, Ethereal

Mila Kunis is the new face of Dior, and what a beautiful face she is.  In her first ads for the fashion house, she promotes the Dior Spring/Summer 2012 collection.    Front and center in this campaign are shoes and handbags, which are fabulous, but Mila makes it all look good.

For their part, Dior is very pleased with their new talent acquisition.  A rep said:

“Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman. Her performance in ‘Black Swan’ was remarkable. She is very gifted.  We are looking forward to a long relationship with her.”

Kate Winslet’s New St John Spring Campaign Ads

Kate Winslet gets comfy (and sultry) on the couch of a New York penthouse for the latest round of ads for St John.

The British actress leans back in a grey silk wrap dress after pouring over scripts in the new spring 2012 ads for the fashion house shot by photographer Craig McDean.

“What I love too is the lines are a lot more relaxed, and yet at the same time they still give shape, so you get those lovely feminine curves, which to me are very, very important,” Winslet says of the collection in a behind-the-scenes video.

The Mildred Pierce actress talks up the brand’s appeal to lots of women of different sizes.

“You don’t have to be a size 2 or even a size 4 to be able to wear these garments because they fall so well, they’re cut for women with a shape, and of course I love that,” she says. “That’s me all over.”

Teary Victoria Beckham Thanks David & Her Family At British Fashion Awards

Victoria Beckham and Marc Jacobs pose together on the way inside to the British Fashion Awards at the Savoy Hotel in London on Monday, November 28th.

Beckham, 37, opted for an elegant long black sleeveless gown with pleated skirt and a draped halter neckline from her own line, Victoria Beckham RTW Fall 2011.

The designer pulled her hair back and chose a smoky eye with pale lip color for a sophisticated look.

Beckham was presented with the Brand of the Year Award by her pal and fellow fashion designer Jacobs.

Accepting the accolade, Beckham teared up and thanked her husband, soccer pro David Beckham, and her family for their support.

“I’m so sorry for crying. I’m being so rubbish,” she told the audience. “I would like to thank the British fashion industry for your support. I’d like to thank my team, you all know who you are, your focus, your creativity, I couldn’t do it without you.”

“My parents, my kids, and my husband. Without David [Beckham] I wouldn’t have had the courage to do what I am doing.”

Beckham later told the press she was “trying to keep it together” but the emotion of the night overwhelmed her.

Jennifer Lopez Stars In New Ad For Fiat 500 By Gucci (Video)

 

 

Jennifer Lopez is the star of a new commercial for the 2012 Fiat 500 by Gucci.   This ultra-luxurious, limited edition of the classic sports car is a co-design project that combines the expertise and style of two iconic Italian companies.  The 500 by Gucci is described as “couture you can drive.” It retails for $23,500.

Lopez appears in the ad, simply titled “Elegance.”  She provides voice over and also lent her song “Until It Beats No More” to the project.

Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade Keep It Hot In Miami

When you’re an NBA player on lockout, you’ve got to do something to fill up your time.  And if you’re the Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade, you team up with luxury watchmaker Hublot to create an über-expensive timepiece.   He introduced the King Power “D-Wade” last week at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami.

Wade’s sexy girlfriend Gabrielle Union was by his side for the debut of the limited edition watch, which retails for nearly $25,000.   Part of the sale price will be donated to Wade’s charity, the Wade’s World Foundation,which funds services for at-risk youth.

The pair also helped celebrate the launch of Hublot’s new boutique in Bal Harbour, Florida.    Despite all the drama surrounding their relationship, Wade and Union really look like they enjoy each other’s company.

Kate Moss Launches New Perfume & Names It After Her Daughter

Kate Moss has created another tribute to her lovely daughter.

This time the supermodel has chose a fragrance to name after her 9 year-old girl, Lila Grace.

Moss says Lilabelle, is a scent that is reminiscent of her daughter.

“Lilabelle is my most personal fragrance yet, inspired by my daughter Lila,” Moss said. “It is a really soft and gentle scent yet also a bit daring.”

Described as a “pretty, soft fruity floriential,” Moss says it’s for all ages.

“I created it for both for grown women who want to remain young at heart and teens who want glamour and sophistication,’ Moss said. ‘It’s my gift to every woman and girl who lives life to the full.”

This is Moss’ ninth fragrance and the second time she’s said her daughter was the source of inspiration for a creation.

In her collaboration with Topshop, Moss re-imagined a Liberty Print with lilacs and bluebells she named Lila-bell.

Lila Grace was a bridesmaid at her mom’s Great Gatsby themed wedding this summer. Moss, 37, tied the knot with musician Jamie Hince in the English countryside.

Photographer Mario Testino took a lovely portrait of the two together and one in the car at the ceremony.

Don’t Have A Halloween Costume Yet? Nicole Richie Says Don’t Choose Something Slutty

If you’re still trying to decide what to wear for a Halloween party or two this weekend, Nicole Richie has a request – less slutty, please.

The 30 year-old mother of two and fashion designer took to her Facebook page to post the plea for women to be a little more modest (and creative) this year.

“Girls, can we all pledge that we will not dress slutty for this Halloween? The jig is up.”

Richie has been Jessie from Toy Story, the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and Margot Tennenbaum from The Royal Tennenbaums in recent years Halloween costumes.

Nicole Scherzinger Warms Up Winter For London Fog

If you’re in the market for a winter coat, London Fog hopes Nicole Scherzinger can convince you to buy one of theirs.  The X Factor judge has replaced Christina Hendricks as the face of the brand for their Winter 2011 campaign.

Iconix Brand Group, London Fog’s parent company, cites Scherzinger”s “fierce sense of style” as one of the reasons for the switch, and admits concedes that while Hendricks was very “classic and tailored,” their new model is more “of the moment.”

Despite its name, London Fog was founded in the United States in 1927.   In addition to Hendricks, they’ve worked with a number of sexy celebrities in the recent past, including Eva Longoria and Gisele Bundchen.
