Foxy Brown On Her Prison Stay

Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown was released from the pokey on Friday.   Wasting no time whatsoever for potential media exposure, she gave her first ex-con interview to MTV from the back of the white Bentley that came to pick her up from jail.

She said life at Rikers Island was a life-changing experience for her:

“I have a whole newfound respect for my freedom. Little things I would take for granted… like a Snickers bar… It’s an incredible feeling. I feel really good.”

Foxy (whose real name is Inga Marchand) said that her first priority (after talking to the press, of course) was to get to church:

“I really, really want to go to church first and get it right with God. It’s only through His grace that I was able to survive this, and I want to get down on my knees and thank Him.”

Brown’s new religious faith doesn’t prevent her harsh feelings about her 241 day imprisonment.   “I did not deserve a sentence that harsh,” she told MTV.

She might need to just get used to it, though.  She’s due back in court on May 5th to answer for an incident in which she allegedly assaulted her neighbor with her Blackberry.  Channeling Naomi Campbell much?
