Custody battles are rarely pleasant or easy but add two high profile celebrities in the mix and the drama tends to get very ugly very fast.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry are locked in a legal (and publicity) war over which parent is worse for their daughter, 2 1/2 year-old Nahla.

Berry’s friends are reporting on Aubry’s alleged rotten behavior, including hurling the N-word at the star:

Aubry’s former friend and business partner Stephane Bibeau claims the model became ‘verbally threatening’ to Berry after they separated.

Bibeau also accused the model of using a racial slur against the actress, according to the latest issue of America’s People magazine.

The respected publication reports several other sources close to Berry, 44, also supported Bibeau’s accusation.

‘He is a vindictive guy,’  Bibeau said.

Aubry’s friends are coming to his defense and painting Berry as the one who flies into wild rages and has left him loads of vicious, bitter text and voice messages that document her anger issues:

‘I honestly think Gabriel should release some of these messages he has from Halle, and tell his side of the story, but he won’t, he said he’s going to save them for family court, which will be a private, press-free environment,’ the source told the website.

‘I know it sounds like I’m painting a picture but Gabriel truly does not want to do anything at all that could potentially damage his daughter, and he knows attacking Halle in the press would ultimately do that.’

Unfortunately for little Nahla, this public and legal match appears far from over.

Halle Berry has “serious concerns” about Gabriel Aubry’s daddy time with their daughter, Nahla.

Berry’s rep released a statement:

“Halle has serious concerns for her daughter’s well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her.”

The actress is so worried, she has dropped out of the upcoming film New Year’s Eve to clear her slate for a legal showdown with Aubry.

Aubry filed for paternity in December to be officially recognized as Nahla’s father as their is no formal agreement between the two regarding custody.

“She has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter’s father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention,” her rep says.

Berry and Aubry split in April of 2010 after 4 years together. Nahla is 2 1/2 years old.

Things move so fast in a reality star’s life…

Kim Kardashian has moved on from super gorgeous male model Gabriel Aubry. The two haven’t been together that long (starting a little before Thanksgiving) but Kardashian is bouncing back with another sports star crush: NBA’s Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets.

Kardashian may have been put off by the supposed ill will Halle Berry, the mother of Aubry’s daughter Nahala, had for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

Apparently Halle was not happy with her ex’s hookup with Kim—and she let her feelings be known. “It was just too much to handle for Kim,” the source tells E! News. “She realized very quickly they were better off as friends.”

Kim’s met her current crush around Halloween and the two stayed in touch. Now Kardashian is revving up the fires with Humphries.

Hottie hot stuff model Gabriel Aubry appears in the buff in a new set of ads for Charisma home collection. Because isn’t he the one you want to imagine rolling around in your new Charisma sheets with…. falling to the floor in a hot passion on your new Charisma rug with…. handing one of your new Charisma towels to as he steps out of the shower?   Yeah, I thought so.

But he’s not just a pretty face, or six pack.  Gabriel stands behind the product he advertises:

Gabriel Aubrey and Agyness Deyn were in Manhattan this week filming a commercial.   They looked like a couple of pretty Easter eggs, though it was a bit late for that.

Gabriel Aubrey is probably the only man alive who could wear this outfit and still look hot!    I’d nearly miss Agyness, but the hot pink knee highs are a little hard to ignore.

This must be the second most beautiful family in Hollywood! Gabriel Aubry, Halle Berry and baby Nahla Ariela are giving the Jolie-Pitts a run for their money. Gabriel and Halle are beautiful and talented but they also had an exquisite name for their bundle of joy.

The happy family was out and about shopping in Malibu yesterday. Nahla is soo adorable and she is just absolutely beautiful. She certainly got the best of both mommy and daddy. Shiloh, watch out!
