As many of you know, I, Antonio Santiago JR., self-appointed pseudo-celebrity at backseatcuddler.com, am also a boxing writer at ringsidereport.com. My favorite ringsidereport.com and backseatcuddler.com reader, Jay, actually sent me an email about this recently calling me gay, which actually made me very proud becuase Jay made me one of those people, like Lennox Lewis, David Bowie, Annie Lennox, Truman Capote, Madonna and Pope John Paul II, whose sexualities were at least once questioned by someone. So I feel famous

Recently, my editor at ringsidereport.com, Geno McGahee, a great man if there ever was one, sent us boxing writers a team letter recommending we ask for review copies of boxing books which, if you can prove you are a writer online or on a magazine and promise to write a review of the book,  you can get for free. So I started firing away and asking for all kinds of boxing books and have been successful so far. Of course all that means is I will have much more work on my hands.

So a lightbulb went on today inside my brain. My lightbulbs must be broken because that does not happen to me much and when it does, my ideas usually are as brilliant as those of Beavis and Butthead, or worse yet, former O.J. best friend Kato Kaelin or Nicole Ritchie. It ocurred to me that I can also ask for entertainment and fashion related books and review them here for you, my beloved readers that I dedicate my life as a writer to.

I have asked for a couple of books, on Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. I plan to ask for books on Boy George, Lindsay Lohan, Jerry Springer, the aforementioned Madonna, Hanson, Zac Efron, Menudo, Nick Carter, Justin Timberlake, Nicole Ritchie, Jenna Jameson, Howard Stern, Vanessa Hudgens, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cirus, Avril Lavigne, Carolina Herrera, Yves Saint Laurent, Oscar De La Renta, Hugo Boss, F’Cuck, and just about every famous celebrity entertainer and fashion designers or brands out there.

What you will get is my uncut, unashamed opinion both on the book and the controversies or fashions surrounding the subjects, so far as you can enjoy them, with respect to the subjects shown where respect is merited. For example, I won’t make fun of Brangelina’s international airport type of family. It is cruel and dirty to make jokes of children and I find it rather admirable of the Pitt’s-or is it Jolie’s?-that they are willing to give someone from a third world country an opportunity to have better chances in life.

My must do woman of the week: Have you seen Kola Boof lately? She attends her book readings naked!! Her point is women should not be ashamed of what they have and from my border-feminist mindset, I agree 100 percent and know what she means, it’s not the body she is talking about, it’s the soul. But MY OH MY, those milk-producers she’s got look like Mount Kilimanjaro, and I am a tourist and want to visit those mountains if you get my drift!!

This week, sad news cloud my column as the fashion world has been shocked to learn that former Yves Saint Laurent model Katoucha Niane, 47, has been found dead. Her body was found in the Seine River in Paris, Parisian police revealed.

Niane, better known simply as Katoucha, was last seen Friday night after she left a party with a friend. She headed home, and was never seen alive again. Police say an accidental fall was likely the cause of her death.

A Guinean, Niane immigrated to Europe at age 17 to become one of the first African supermodels, which she did achieve. She posed for people like Irving Penn, and maintained her friendship with Saint Laurent long after retiring as a model in 1994.

Niane was circumcised when she was 9, an experience that scarred her for the rest of her life. She had been campaigning against the practice of circumcising girls in Africa for a very long time, and was a true believer in what she fought for. The incredible beauty on her Black face and her long, brown hair, which effectively made her look like a real life version of an  African Barbie, hid a heart of a feminist who never stopped believing in her causes. Our condolences go to her loved ones.

In other news, you have to check out my very good friend Luisana Lopilato’s page. The Argentine superstar, who will not be touring with internationally archfamous pop rock group Erreway during their 2008 international tour, recently wore a blue one piece bathing suit that’s all the scream. I liked the way she looked in more ways than just one. After all, even if she is my close friend, I am nothing but a carnal, animalistic, sad big dog looking for meat. In other words, I am a man.  And not like Boy George, who once actually declared on “Karma Chameleon” that he was a “man without convictions”. Not that kind of man. I have convictions and one of them is that Luisana Lopilato looks fine as hell in her bathing suit. Have a problem with your neighbors? Stinky cooking? Brutes that bully? Miserable miscreants? Drug deals and loud parties? Animals allowed to breed like cockroaches? Or do you just live next door to inconsiderate hillbillies? Now there is an online place for you to vent: RottenNeighbor.com started by Brandt Walker, is a fast growing site for people to both complain about the boorish behavior of nuisance neighbors and a great resource for those who are looking to move.

Most of the people do not name names, but do give the specific address for the complaint. If you have a red dot on your house, look out - it could spell real estate trouble.

Brant opened the site for anyone to post about anyone and right away hit a nerve. Each day, the site gets thousands of postings about neighbor horror stories.

Neighbors being tattled on generally aren’t identified by name but their home, right down to the street address, is. Experts say the site can seriously impact a home’s worth.

“The question is how far would you have to drop your house in order to make it saleable if everyone knows you have bad neighbors? It might be you know a third. It could easily be a third. It’s hard to calculate but I’ll tell you, it could definitely be a lot,” Phyllis Rockower from the Real Estate Investment Club of L.A.

Brant says protecting people’s privacy isn’t his concern. He believes he can help save home hunters from making uninformed decisions. “You have so many real estate engines out there helping people find out where they want to live. This is the first one of its kind helping people find out where they don’t want to live.”

I like the idea, however, there is no way to police subjective, slanderous, racist and petty allegations. Additionally there does not seem to be an edit feature for someone who posts something in haste. (I didn’t find it but the site is running very slow and I gave up.) The first time someone is told they will not purchase a house because of a complaint on this site, well, you can smell the lawsuit from dimished property values, etc. Brandt is in a good position though; lots of heavily funded, private backers to the site. If you are checking out the site, be aware it’s slow running.
