This movie is going to be quite entertaining, this trailer seems like a better taste of the film’s essence. I just wish it were more of a mystery than action film though.

I don’t know. This sounds like a bad idea. It’s already been said that Madonna regrets leaving her now ex-husband Guy Ritchie, but are they really getting back together? Word is that now that they have spent time apart, the two are both having second thoughts on their relationship.
“The pair of them have huge egos so, rather than speaking directly to one another, they are using friends to relay information,” a source told The People. “The truth is both Guy and Madonna are becoming more and more open in their admissions that in many ways they regret getting divorced.
“It’s one of those rare situations where couples start to get on better once their marriage is over.
“Both of them are brilliant with the kids and have fond memories of their family life together.
“It’s almost as though they have forgotten about all the rows they had as their marriage headed for the rocks.”
Two giant egos in the same house never works. It’s hard enough when there is one person who thinks they are the reason the sun rises, but two of them? And why is it that people forget the fights and other reasons they broke up to begin with? Not that you want to dwell on the bad, but wouldn’t you remember that?

That’s right there’s a sequel already in the works for the upcoming film Sherlock Holmes. Rumor has it that Brad Pitt may play the legendary Sherlock Holmes villain Moriarty in the sequel!
Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of Sherlock Holmes won’t hit the big screen until Christmas, but Warner Bros is already developing a sequel.
According to Risky Business, Kieran and Michele Mulroney have been hired to pen a draft for a continuation. The brother screenwriting team wrote the imaginary Superhero coming-of-middle-age dramedy Paper Man which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival and the dumped DC Comics live-action film Justice League: Mortal. Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham, Lionel Wigram and Simon Kinberg all worked on the screenplay for the first film.
This isn’t surprising news as the project has been groomed as a potential franchise. Last month, it was rumored that Brad Pitt had filmed some scenes as Holmes’ nemesis Moriarty during a set of secret reshoots, but Warner Bros denied these claims. The character does make a breif cameo appearance in the first film, setting up a potential sequel, but those who know claim the character remains in the shadows and cannot be recognized.
We assumed the previous rumor was a complete fabrication but, The Hollywood Reporter now claims that Brad Pitt has in fact had discussions with producers to play Moriarty in the developing sequel, though there is no deal in place as of yet. Pitt starred in Ritchie’s second feature film Snatch.
If these rumors turn out to be true, it would be an instant mega-hit, undoubtedly. Brad Pitt obviously has the star power, but him playing a major villain like this would be an even bigger draw. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see with fingers crossed.

They both look like they are ready to kick some butt. I hope the movie doesn’t just rely on action as its main attraction. Sherlock Holmes of the past was always about mystery, it’s rare to find a good mystery nowadays.

Guy Ritchie hit a Laker’s game recently, but it looks like that’s not all he wanted to hit. He is literally licking his lips checking out that cheerleader! What’s that you say? He probably had some mustard in the corner of his mouth? Oh sure, sure. I think he’s probably just glad to have something soft and feminine to look at, as opposed to his ex-wife’s arms.

The new Sherlock Holmes film directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Robert Downey Jr. will be out on Christmas Day 2009.
On Wednesday, Warner Bros. said it was delaying the release ofGuy Ritchie’s Robert Downey Jr.-Jude Lawtopliner “Sherlock Holmes” from Nov. 13 to Dec. 25.
“Sherlock” had been set to open Nov. 20, but thenSummit Entertainmentannounced it would bow”Twilight”sequel “New Moon” on that date.
Not a major delay and this film seems like it would be a good Christmas release anyway.

Guy Ritchie has a fond nickname for his ex-wife, Madonna. Apparently even before they divorced, he was referring to her as “It.” The Sun UK reported:
A source revealed: Guy will say, Oh, Its in a bad mood today.
How utterly appropriate! She is so incredibly freaky looking, and she acts like a she-demon, so I think Guy has hit the nail on the head.
By the way, Madonna has won temporary custody of their sons, Rocco and David, and is now residing with them in New York. A follow-up hearing is scheduled for next month.

So the latest buzz about Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes movie is intriguing: it seems that Guy is playing up the homoerotic aspects of the relationship between Holmes and Watson. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective
is seen SHARING A BED with his dear, dear, Dr Watson and also enjoying some man-to-man wrestling with his close chum.
Robert Downey Jr., who plays Sherlock Holmes, says:
Were two men who happen to be room-mates, wrestle a lot and share a bed. Its badass.
Jude Law, who plays Watson, further explains in a less titillating way:
Guy wanted to make this about the relationship between Watson and Holmes. Theyre both mean and complicated.
OK, I admit that sounds kind of gay, but what’s the big deal? And keep in mind, this movie is set probably 100+ years ago? Maybe at the time it was more OK for guys to share a bed and wrestle a lot? We’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves when the movie is released in November.

Yesterday, he (Robert Downey Jr.) andJUDE LAW, 35 who plays his sidekick Dr Watson had to flee the set with Ritchie when a gas tanker exploded in a fireball.
The Iron Man actor, 43, was knocked unconscious by 25-stone co-starROBERT MAILLETduring a fight scene.Downey Jr who plays the famous detective was out cold for six seconds and drooling blood before medics could bring him round.A nurse on set at Chatham dockyard in Kent gave him six stitches in his mouth.

A source said: Robert was accidentally caught on the chin by a thundering hook. He went flying and was out cold.He didnt want to go to hospital and kept trying to get up. Hes a trooper. But there have been lots of other problems too.
The source added: The crew have started joking about the curse of Sherlock Holmes.
Not cursed, just unfortunate. Hopefully the mishaps don’t continue. I want this movie to be a success.

These never seen before pictures of Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s wedding were released in a UK newspaper over the weekend. They had always kept these pictures a secret, but since the marriage is over I guess there is no reason to keep them secret anymore. I wonder who was the one who brought them to the tabloids?
Madonna and Guy were married on December 20, 2000. (How old do these pictures look!!) Madonna wore a $40,000 (appr US funds) dress designed by her by then maid of honor Stella McCartney and wearing a $340,000 (appr US funds) tiara. Guests included Sting and Trudy Styler (who was the one who introduced the two of them together), Gwyneth Paltrow, Jason Statham and Matthew Vaughn.
It seems bittersweet to finally get to see the photos when they aren’t even together anymore.

I can’t believe these rumors are true. Madonna and Guy Ritchie are getting a divorce, and the reps have confirmed it. The couple has been fighting rumors for months and now have finally come out with a statement.
The statement issued on Wednesday read: “Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven and a half years of marriage, their representatives confirmed today. “They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time. A final settlement has not been agreed upon yet.”
Now people can leave them alone now that the statement has been issued. The couple has one child together, Rocco, and adopted, David, which was just finalized in May. Madonna also has another child, Lourdes, from a previous relationship.
UPDATE: I just saw this at I’m Not Obsessed and I had to share it...A-Rod and Madonna are an item!
She and the New York Yankees slugger “are definitely romantic.”
“Guy is not involved in this equation,” the insider tells Usmagazine.com. “With or without A-Rod, Madonna and Guy haven’t been ‘together’ for over a year - they have been privately separated. Madonna, however, wanted to finish her world tour before divorcing.”
“A-Rod and Madonna are more involved than ever. Alex has really missed spending time with Madonna. However, he understands the position Madonna’s in.”
This is getting to be an interesting story!
