Hogwarts is under siege, Harry and Ginny get close and share a kiss and the epic epicness just continues.

Unfortunately it’s set to come to an end all too soon, but for now, we have one more new trailer to watch before the last film in the Potterverse hits theaters July 15th.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 includes a little dragon ride that is simply awesome and Professor McGongall and Molly Weasley go badass.

J.K. Rowling has a mysterious new website promising the announcement of a new story from the Harry Potter universe entitled Pottermore! Click the link to see the site!

If you click on the owls it goes to a countdown on YouTube for her official announcement on June 22nd. Less than a week away! This is huge for Harry Potter fans who are mourning the end of the beloved series on the big screen. If new books come out, movies won’t be far behind. The fact that Potter is in the title leads us to believe that he’ll indeed be in the story. What do you think?

This movie is nearing the end of it’s promotion cycle, these two posters mark the 23rd and 24th posters released. The anticipation continues to build as this massive series comes to an end. I wonder how long it will be before another franchise this big comes along? Maybe never? What do you think?

The 2011 MTV Movie Awards were held last night and besides being a huge Twilight fan convention with lots of movie studio promotions and marketing, the evening was typically atypical, if ya know what mean.

Host Jason Sudeikis started off with a Hangover II spoof where he gets drunk with Jason Bartha, loses Taylor Lautner and wakes up to a tattooed Eva Mendes.

The comedian’s jokes tackled everything from Arnold Schwarzenegger, his own speculated-about, possible-fatherhood of January Jones baby to Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

The big surprise – Robert Pattinson busted out his comedic chops for the night. He kissed Taylor Lautner instead of Kristen Stewart for the Best Kiss Award and he gave Reese Witherspoon a dose of his funny when he presented her with the Generation Award.

Referencing their first film together, Vanity Fair, where he played her son but his part was cut, he said to his Water For Elephants costar “Seven years later we worked together on a movie called Water For Elephants and you played my mother…I didn’t cut you out, but I did f*** you.”

Best Well Played Award, I say.

Here’s the new clip from upcoming 8th film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which premiered at the MTV Movie Awards tonight.

About half the clip was already in the trailer that was recently released but it’s cool anyway. This movie is going to be great! Can’t wait until it comes out on July 15th!

MTV is hauling out some very anticipated movies and their stars for Sunday’s broadcast of the MTV Movie Awards.

Along with the exclusive clip for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 they will premiere, MTV is also rolling out a new one from Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 as well. The latter will be introduced by Emma Watson!

Watson, who is currently in Pennsylvania filming The Perks of Being A Wallflower, is taking a day off to be in Los Angeles at the ceremony and present the never-before-seen peek at the final film of the Harry Potter series that will hit theaters in July.

Emma is also up the Best Female Performance Award and many of her HP cast mates are nominated for trophies as well.

Tune in to the Awards on MTV Sunday, June 5th at 9pm ET.

Here are the two latest character posters for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 featuring Bellatrix and Severus Snape.

Severus has always been one of my favorite characters in these movies, I was shocked at the events involving him in The Half Blood Prince. I’m glad I only read the first book, as it turns out, sometimes it’s OK to see the movies first. Thankfully I still have surprises ahead for this final chapter, maybe I’ll go back and read them all after I see it.

Here’s the latest character poster for the upcoming finale Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 featuring Draco Malfoy.

Boy does he look pale, I suppose it comes with the character. He’s always had that sickly look to him, a testament to the subtleties in the makeup for these films that have helped create all the characters that the world has come to love. I wonder  how many of these young actors careers will go on in coming years.

Here are the brand new character posters for the upcoming finale Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

This is definitely the movie I’m most looking forward to this summer. Its hard to believe these are among some of the very last Harry Potter movie posters we’ll ever see. Unless of course J.K. Rowling decides to write more HP books, thats not likely though. This movie series has been such a normal part of the landscape for so long, I get the feeling the absence will be missed after this one is released.
