Hilary Duff has announced her pregnancy! The 23 year-old star and her husband, hockey player Mike Comrie, 30, are expecting their first child.

Duff made the revelation on her official website on the day of their 1st wedding anniversary. After sharing some wedding photos with fans, the actress dropped the impending baby news.

“We also want to share the exciting news that…… BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!”

Earlier this month, Hilary said the couple was planning to wait before starting a family because she was going to work on another album.

“We talk about [having kids]. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I think I want to work a little more,” she told Access Hollywood.

“I’m tossing around the idea of making another record. We want it, and we’re excited for it but think it can wait a while longer. He is supportive of me. We both are excited to do that, but he knows I’m still young.”

Duff is based in Los Angeles and Comrie is currently playing for the Pittsburg Penguins.

Hilary Duff is out of The Story of Bonnie and Clyde remake because she’s pregnant, according to rumors floated today but is that really true? Well, sort of. It’s because she isn’t available to start shooting by the end of the year.

The 23 year-old and her husband, hockey pro Mike Comrie, announced just last week that they are starting family and Hilary is expecting.

According to producers, they were told the actress would not be available until June of 2012. Duff’s costar, Kevin Zegers, now also has commitments and will not be able to film before January of 2012.

“While production has been pushed several times due to financial, scheduling and other factors such as tornadoes devastating some of our locations, we are currently gearing up to start production later this year,” the producers told EW.

“Unfortunately we now faced with scheduling conflicts with our leads Hilary Duff and Kevin Zegers. We were told that Duff would not be available until June 2012 and that Zegers would not be available until January of the new year.”

“Due to our obligations with investors and international buyers it is imperative that we stick to our current schedule. Therefore we are forced to explore other options for the two lead roles. Unfortunately this happens all the time in the world of filmmaking.”

So both lead actors have told producers they won’t be able to shoot and casting begins again.

Hilary Duff is a newlywed, still a blushing bride, but it’s back to the real world now that the honeymoon is over.  Off to the gym for her pilates class and then to the salon for some hair color.

Speaking of that hair….. I am not feeling it.  I love Hilary as a blonde.  Not too fond of the darker colors on her.  Hopefully it’s a quick phase.

“We haven’t set a wedding date yet, but we are really excited.”

Her family is going to be very hands on when it comes to details,

“I came home from traveling and was greeted by a big stack of bridal magazines from my family.”

Hilary is planning for her sister, Haylie to be the maid of honor. As for the dress,

“I want it to be traditional. I don’t want it to be too big and overwhelming, because I’m so small. A big dress would make me look like a big cupcake!”

All I know is that Hilary is going to be a gorgeous bride.  This girl is such a knockout, I can’t wait for the big day!  Set that date already!

Here’s the poster for the new film Stay Cool starring Winona Ryder, Hilary Duff, Sean Astin and Josh Holloway.

An author who returns to his hometown to deliver a commencement address to a class of graduating high school students has to deal with his feelings for an old flame as well as the advances of a student who has the hots for him.

Not my kind of movie, but it has some good actors in it. Sean Astin hasn’t done much since Lord of the Rings, I can’t help but wonder why.
