About A Boy Girl…

Hugh Grant has become a first time father and has a little girl!

The 51 year-old actor welcomed his first child at the beginning of October and while he’s no longer with the child’s mother, Grant is reportedly flashing that famous grin at his little girl.

“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl,” his rep tells Us. “He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive.  He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms.”

The identity of the mother was not revealed by Grant’s rep and no other details of the baby’s birth have been released yet.

Grant’s previous high profile relationships have been with Elizabeth Hurley and socialite Jemima Khan.

Grant was considered as a replacement for Charlie Sheen in Two and A Half Men, but reportedly decided against the weekly grind of a TV show.

Instead Grant has signed up for the movie Cloud Atlas with Halle Berry, Tom Hanks and Susan Sarandon.

The big screen adaptaion of Cloud Atlas just got another big name added to it’s growing cast.

Hugh Grant has signed on to the century-spanning story based on the novel by David Mitchell.

Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Susan Sarandon, Jim Broadbent, Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving, Ben Whishaw and Chinese actress Zhou Xun are already signed on to the Tom Tykwer, Andy & Lana Wachowski directed film. Yes, three directors.

The six interlocking stories are woven around the progression of one soul that travels through time and space spanning from the 19th century in the South Pacific to a post-apocalyptic future.

Filming will begin in Glasgow next week and continue in Spain and Germany.

Grant hasn’t made a film since the 2009 comedy Did You Hear About The Morgans with Sarah Jessica Parker.

Looking forward to Hugh back on the big screen.

Charlie Sheen has a lot of things going for him (or against him, depending on your take on his current situation) but one thing he no longer has is a weekly television show that is extremely profitable.

After the acrimonious split Sheen had with CBS, Warner Bros, Chuck Lorre and his former TV home Two and A Half Men; Lorre wanted to replace the actor but only if it was the right actor – someone who wouldn’t cause Lorre and the show the kind of trouble that Charlie allegedly did.

After months of speculation, Deadline has revealed that all the previous names tossed out – you know who they were: Rob Lowe, John Stamos and Woody Harrelson, for example – were all wrong. Lorre and CBS were gunning for a huge international star: Hugh Grant.

Grant had been sooo darn close to signing on the dotted line, for $1 million an episode for the full season of 24 shows. That would’ve been a very nice payday for Grant.

Unfortunately it fell through during final negotiations because Hugh isn’t up to the long episodic haul involved in television.

Such a shame – that would’ve a been brilliant casting coup. It could have put Men back on solid ratings ground, made everyone forget Charlie ever had the role and given new life to Hugh’s career.

Elizabeth Hurley is having a rough week. Hurley and her husband Arun Nayar announced their split earlier this week after rumors surfaced Liz had an affair with Australian cricket player Shane Warne.

Hurley needed a shoulder to cry on, someone who understands the pressure she must be feeling. Her ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant is who she turns to now. The two have remained very close friends although it seemed unlikely at the time when, in 1995, Grant was caught with a prostitute in his car in Los Angeles while they were a couple.

Grant was seen heading to Hurley’s home in London to spend time with Liz and her 8 year-old son Damian, whom Grant is godfather to. Hugh spent a few hours with the two as she rides out the storm of controversy.

While the two can probably never go back – they certainly were a dream couple back then. Hurley looking fabulous in her saftey pin dress on the red carpet and arm of Grant, the star of Four Weddings and a Funeral. No one could relate to her situation now the way Grant can.

Whatever the real reason behind Hurley and Nayar’s decision to split up, it is nice for her to have a loyal friend who is constant. I hope Nayar has that too.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant were in London last night (December for the premiere of  ’Did You Hear About The Morgans?‘  held at the Odeon Leicester Square.  I am SO excited to see this movie.  I am huge fan of both of them and the previews for this movie look great!  So funny!  SJP and Hugh have amazing on screen chemistry.  How hot does Sarah look?  I love the whole outfit, those heels are sexy, that long coat is divine.  SJP has the best style.

Hugh Grant was spotted leaving the Ritz Carlton in Berlin, Germany over the weekend looking cuter than ever.  Look at those dimples!  I do believe that Hugh Grant is one of Hollywood’s hottest men out there.  I know a lot of you may not agree, but there is just something about him….maybe it’s that smile.  I don’t know.  And hey!  He plays a mean round of golf….. speaking of golf, Hugh stay FAR away from Tiger Woods.  We dont’ want you getting tainted like that d-bag!

Actor and golf addict Hugh Grant has finally admitted that his obsession with the game is messing with his dating life.

“When you say to a girl ‘I play golf’ her eyes glaze over,” says Hugh…“I do feel guilty about my golf.”

His love of golf goes beyond just playing the game.  Hugh goes online to learn more and watch videos of golf swings.

“You know you’re a sad case when you spend your spare time reading books on putting or going on YouTube to watch slow motion golf swings.

“I’ll get out of bed in the middle of the night and practice my swing in front of a mirror. I’m obsessed and it’s destroying my life. Golf is an addiction.”

I don’t know if it’s just his obsession with golf that makes dating difficult for Hugh Grant.  Maybe it has to do with his choice of ladies and just how drunk they are when they get together.

Romantic comedy movie star, Hugh Grant, is admitting to us all now that fame had indeed gone to his head, and terrible to get along with.

He says, “I think I have gone a bit crazy. I am deeply spoiled. In the bedroom of my trailer on a film, I insist they wash the duvet. It has to be a new duvet cover and pillowcases and they have to be washed at least seven times in non-bio powder. What kind of monster have I become?..

Not only is he a monster on set, now, but he demands champagne for photo shoots!

“I was poor and now I’m rich, so that’s nice. I pay people to laugh at my jokes. And it’s an ego trip. There’s no point in beating around the bush (messing about). On publicity days, there has to be a lot of champagne knocking around. I can’t do photoshoots without a glass of champagne in my hand.”

I can see Hugh saying all of this completely deadpan, making it so hard for you to know if he is, indeed, a spoiled brat with a huge sense of entitlement, or if he is simply making fun of himself.

Either way, I’d make sure to keep the beans out of reach.

Actor Hugh Grant, 48, has branched out in his athletic adventures.  Not content to only be a champion bean thrower, Grant can also be found flying from New York, where he had been filming, back home to England just to play a round golf.  While at the opening for his father James Grant’s watercolor exhibition at a Southampton gallery, Hugh spoke about his love of the game.

“I come out here to play golf, since I’m a golf fanatic.”

Can you imagine Hugh Grant all serious on the golf course? I’d love to see him decked out in some of those short pants and the shoes with the pom poms on the toes.

Since he was at the opening for James Grant’s watercolors, Hugh also went on to praise his dad’s art work.

“I’m so proud of my dad — he’s been painting all my life,” he said. “My dad, who lives in London and is originally from Scotland, follows the tradition of Scottish colorists and I really love his colors in these nature scenes.”

The sales of James Grant’s paintings went to support the Southampton Fresh Air Home, a camp for physically challenged kids. All 86 of the paintings had sold by the end of the night’s event!
