Actor and golf addict Hugh Grant has finally admitted that his obsession with the game is messing with his dating life.

“When you say to a girl ‘I play golf’ her eyes glaze over,” says Hugh…“I do feel guilty about my golf.”

His love of golf goes beyond just playing the game.  Hugh goes online to learn more and watch videos of golf swings.

“You know you’re a sad case when you spend your spare time reading books on putting or going on YouTube to watch slow motion golf swings.

“I’ll get out of bed in the middle of the night and practice my swing in front of a mirror. I’m obsessed and it’s destroying my life. Golf is an addiction.”

I don’t know if it’s just his obsession with golf that makes dating difficult for Hugh Grant.  Maybe it has to do with his choice of ladies and just how drunk they are when they get together.

Romantic comedy movie star, Hugh Grant, is admitting to us all now that fame had indeed gone to his head, and terrible to get along with.

He says, “I think I have gone a bit crazy. I am deeply spoiled. In the bedroom of my trailer on a film, I insist they wash the duvet. It has to be a new duvet cover and pillowcases and they have to be washed at least seven times in non-bio powder. What kind of monster have I become?..

Not only is he a monster on set, now, but he demands champagne for photo shoots!

“I was poor and now I’m rich, so that’s nice. I pay people to laugh at my jokes. And it’s an ego trip. There’s no point in beating around the bush (messing about). On publicity days, there has to be a lot of champagne knocking around. I can’t do photoshoots without a glass of champagne in my hand.”

I can see Hugh saying all of this completely deadpan, making it so hard for you to know if he is, indeed, a spoiled brat with a huge sense of entitlement, or if he is simply making fun of himself.

Either way, I’d make sure to keep the beans out of reach.

Actor Hugh Grant, 48, has branched out in his athletic adventures.  Not content to only be a champion bean thrower, Grant can also be found flying from New York, where he had been filming, back home to England just to play a round golf.  While at the opening for his father James Grant’s watercolor exhibition at a Southampton gallery, Hugh spoke about his love of the game.

“I come out here to play golf, since I’m a golf fanatic.”

Can you imagine Hugh Grant all serious on the golf course? I’d love to see him decked out in some of those short pants and the shoes with the pom poms on the toes.

Since he was at the opening for James Grant’s watercolors, Hugh also went on to praise his dad’s art work.

“I’m so proud of my dad — he’s been painting all my life,” he said. “My dad, who lives in London and is originally from Scotland, follows the tradition of Scottish colorists and I really love his colors in these nature scenes.”

The sales of James Grant’s paintings went to support the Southampton Fresh Air Home, a camp for physically challenged kids. All 86 of the paintings had sold by the end of the night’s event!

Being a famous actor who’s been publicly embarrassed, (the Divine Brown debacle,) you would�think that�Hugh Grant is somewhat guarded with his personal life. Not if there are blonde co-eds around. Grant has been photographed with the college beauties looking bleary-eyed and lecherous in photos posted on one of the girls Facebook site.

It’s not a pretty sight. He looks more than a little refreshed and very much like a man in his late forties. (He is 47.)

In one picture, his mouth hangs open and his eyes are unfocused; in another, he appears to be closing in on second year student Caroline Hargreaves, a 20-year-old blonde, for a kiss.

“Rough, old and horrible,” is the verdict of one fan on a website.

The actor�appears to want nothing more than bachelorhood and his�two most notable exes; Elizabeth Hurley and Jemima Khan, wanted society functions and celebrity, something he is retiring from. He isn’t working on a film, is currently working on a book and watches television and golfs all day. He appears to enjoy a rather solitary life except for the occassional miscellaneous gal. Well, if he’s happy then go for it - just make sure no one has cameras, Hugh.

British born actor Hugh Grant was spotted exiting a cab with three female companions at�London hot spot, Boujis. When the paparazzi was spotted, Hugh jumped back into the waiting cab. The thespian was rumored to be back with his longtime girlfriend, Jemima Khan, but not for long when she sees this.

The club in London’s South Kensington is a favourite of princes William and Harry and photographers are regularly waiting at the doors in the hopes of catching one of the royals or Kate Middleton.

I hope Hugh had a good time. He will have a lot of explaining to Jemima when she sees this.

LONDON (Reuters) - Hugh Grant has been arrested and questioned by police after a photographer accused the actor of attacking him with a tub of baked beans.

Photographer Ian Whittaker told the Daily Star that he and Grant, 46, clashed near the home of the “Four Weddings and a Funeral” star.

Whittaker said Grant abused and kicked him on Tuesday before lobbing the beans. The paper printed photos of Grant with a plastic tub of food raised over his head.

Grant’s lawyers Schillings said an incident had taken place and was now under investigation.

A police spokeswoman, when asked about the incident, said a 46-year-old man had been arrested on Wednesday evening and questioned at a London police station after an allegation of assault in west London.
