They have been married since 1996 and things are still going strong between Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness. While at a gala that was honoring his lovely wife for her work with orphans, Hugh shared the best parenting advice he had ever been given.

“Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids,” Hugh, 41, says during the Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala held this week at NYC’s Capitale. “And don’t be afraid to tell your kids that you have no idea what you’re doing either.”

Jackman also shared that the family spends plenty of quality time together. Even when he has to work on Halloween.

“I’m going to be trick-or-treating, but I’ll actually be onstage performing [in A Steady Rain] on Saturday night,” he says. “I’ll help them get dressed. My daughter this morning decided she wanted to be a muffin. I said, ‘what flavor?’ and she said ‘chocolate chip.’”

Hugh and Deborra-Lee have two adopted children, Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4.

Hugh Jackman doesn’t want to host the Oscars again next year.

The thesp, who’s starring on Broadway with Daniel Craig in the drama “A Steady Rain,” quietly turned down the job within the past few weeks, sources said.

Jackman drew praise for his first Oscar hosting gig in February under producer Laurence Mark and exec producer Bill Condon. He may take on hosting duties again in the future, but it’s understood that he didn’t want to do the show two years in a row.

Once his Broadway run ends, Jackman will take time off and prepare for “The Real Steel,” the Shawn Levy-directed DreamWorks drama that will begin production in the spring.

It’s not like he doesn’t have a very full plate in front of him, he’s always keeping busy. But who will host the Oscars this year? Lets the rumors begin! Who would you choose as the host the next Academy Awards?

If you have ever wanted to see Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman with their shirts off at the same time, you missed your chance. After the Sunday (October 25) performance of their Broadway show “A Steady Rain” the duo auctioned off the shirts they had been wearing all night for charity.

Following the auction the lucky winners were brought backstage where Hugh and Daniel autographed the shirts.

The generous move by the Hollywood hunks raised $4,000 each for Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids.

Hugh Jackman is in talks to star in a new movie about boxing robots called Real Steel.

Hugh Jackman,who just opened on Broadway in “A Steady Rain,” is in talks to star onscreen in the Shawn Levy-directed “Real Steel” for DreamWorks.

Pic is a Rocky-with-robots saga, with Jackman is negotiating to play an ex-fighter who becomes a promoter when human boxing is outlawed for being too violent. The new gladiators are 2000-pound robots with human qualities. The ex-fighter’s access to sub-standard robot parts hampers his hopes for glory in Robot Boxing, until he discovers a discarded robot that always seems to win. The ex-fighter has also discovered he’s the father of a 13-year old son, and they bond as the robot brawls its way toward the top.

Sounds like a strange concept,  I’m all about a good Sci-Fi movie, but this sounds like it could really fall flat. Maybe we’ll all be surprised and it’ll be great, but it’s hard to feel emotion for robots.

Hugh Jackman’s character, Wolverine from the X-Men movies is the latest waxing at Madame Tussaud’s in Times Square, NYC.

I think that this is an amazing likeness and totally fun!  The artists that do these figures do incredible work.  I am so impressed.  Those blades look really dangerous!  Ha!

Hugh Jackman is set to star in the new film Avon Man.

In a high-six-figure deal, 20th Century Fox has acquired “Avon Man,” a comedy pitch from ”Hitch” writer Kevin Bisch, as a star vehicle for Hugh Jackman, with Bisch to script.

Jackman and Seed Prods. partner John Palermo will produce, along with Gary Foster at Krasnoff Foster Entertainment.

Story follows men laid off from an auto dealership. One is reluctantly recruited into becoming an Avon salesman, and while the experience is initially emasculating, he uses his charm and good looks to become a top seller. The comedy takes on a “Full Monty” vibe when the car salesman sets out to save his financially strapped family and town by conscripting his buddies into the makeup business to win a regional contest.

Sounds like it has the potential to be funny, but this isn’t something I’m thrilled about. Although Jackman is good at comedy.

Who knew even celebrities have celebrity crushes?  The seriously annoying Rachael Ray spilled about her favorite eye candy.

“Hugh Jackman has a nice body, doesn’t he? And Daniel Craig has a really great body!”

She reassured her husband John Cusimano by quickly adding, “Of course, I only have eyes for John!”

Mmmm hmmm.  You totally know Rachael wants to get together with Wolverine, James Bond and a bottle of EVOO and see what they can cook up!  No shame in thinking about that, Rachael.  No shame.

A new film called Unbound Captives is set to star Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson. 

Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson will star in the period drama Unbound Captives, with Madeleine Stowe making her directorial debut from a script she wrote, reports Variety.

Gil Netter and Grant Hill will produce with Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment. They are eyeing a year-end production start.

Amazing how Pattinson was little known last year at this time, now he’s headlining with stars like Jackman and Weisz.

Hugh Jackman was seen returning to his house in New York after coming home from Los Angeles. He was promoting his new movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine that hits theatres on Friday.  I am sure that is the last thing that Hugh wants is people taking pictures of him after a long flight.

TMZ got a hold of some documents yesterday saying that Hugh spent over $4000 on breakfast. Who did he feed? The many fans waiting in line to see his new movie on Monday in Arizona. Now how sweet is that? If Hugh bought me breakfast I would be a fan for life.

So now that we know that Hugh hasn’t let fame go to his head we should all go see his movie tomorrow (May 1st)!
