Model Sarah Bradford made her runway debut just months ago, but she’s determined to follow in her stepbrother Matt Damon’s footsteps to the silver screen.  However, some roles are simply too close for comfort.  She told New York Magazine:

Five months ago, I went in for a reading for this movie Matt’s in, The Adjustment Bureau; it’s in production right now in New York. It was for a character named Elise—she is basically queen bee at this ballet academy—and all of a sudden they say, “Are you aware that if you get this role, you’ll be playing Matt’s love, having a love affair with your brother?” My jaw dropped. My manager just completely wasn’t told.  I’m no longer with that manager.  I just read for a more appropriate role in the movie, Elise’s friend, and I got the part. It’s very exciting. What parents wouldn’t want their children to work together?

Well yes.  I’m sure most parents would love their children to work together, just not THAT closely.   You can catch Sarah (without her brother) in the upcoming movies When The Devil Comes and Mountain Park.

Whether you are a diehard fanatic or just a simple viewer, there has never been a better reason to watch the final season of Lost!  Ian Somerhalder, who played Boone in season 1, is currently making preparations to return to the show.  However, in typical Lost fashion, not even Ian knows exactly when or how his appearance will be made!

Well, at least we all know Boone is dead. “Or is he?” said Somerhalder. Ian shared his take on what he’d like to see happen for Boone, dead or alive: “I would like to see him find his power. I think there was always solidarity there. Boone was a pretty successful guy who [was] in his own world and had created a certain amount of responsibility that he had. I think there was power in that, and when they took him out of his element, I think he lost his power, and we never got to see him come into fruition, by virtue of his untimely death.”

Untimely death indeed!  I for one can’t wait until this heartthrob returns to the show!

Jerry Lewis apparently didn’t learn his lesson last fall when he used an anti-gay slur on TV - during his infamous Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy telethon, no less.� He did it again during a press conference in Australia on Saturday.

When a reporter from Network Ten national TV asked his opinion of the game cricket (the defacto national sport of Australia), he responded:

“Oh, cricket? It’s a f– game. What are you, nuts?” Lewis replied.

The network broadcast the comment in full on its Friday evening news bulletin along with footage of Lewis handling an imaginary cricket bat with an effeminate gesture.

He’s in Australia performing in a retrospective show featuring highlights from his career in comedy, movies and television.�� His representative said that “he did not intend to comment.”

I think Jerry Lewis is getting better at offending folks, because this time he managed to hit gays AND an entire country at once.� Nice job, Jerry!

I’m not sure what that bottle of orange juice did to ever deserve being where it is! But, now that Shannen was on Beverly Hills 90210 she is popular again. Here are some highlights of the interview that the magazine did with her…

On her life now: I have a great life now. If you could see me with my horse Picasso, how I call his name and he sticks his head out of his stall and then licks me from the neck up�that�s what my life is like now. It�s really kind of boring.

On spending time on the internet: I don�t spend any time on the Internet.I used to, but then I�d cry myself to sleep, thinking everyone in the world hates me. So I stopped. But when the news came that they were bringing back 90210, friends started e-mailing me stuff from fan sites that said Brenda had to be on the show. I can pay my mortgage and ride my horses because of those fans. This is how I can repay them.

On being married to Rick Salomon: There was something that Rick provided that was amazing to me.I look at what he did [with Paris Hilton] and think, God, that�s disgusting. But when we were married, I never had someone make me laugh so much. I was madly in love. It was a really hard marriage. When it ended, it was a heart-crushing thing.

Robin Thicke sat down with Billboard magazine to promote the release of his new album Something Else and among discussions of race, and the label “blue-eyed soul” he described a recent interview with Vibe magazine:

When I did a recent interview with Vibe magazine I asked, “Why can’t I get the cover? This is a magazine I love. If there’s one magazine that I’d want to be on the cover of, it’s Vibe.” Their response was they don’t have white artists on the cover; that the only white artist they’ve had on the cover was Eminem. I guess if that’s what it is, it is what it is. And I respect that because I live in a house with a black woman.

I won’t use the word “racism.” I will say it’s a tough�but rewarding�fight.

I’m sorry, but can we honestly say if someone like Mary J. Blige was interviewed by Billboard and told they only feature white artists on their cover, her response could have, or would have been “if that’s what it is, it is what it is.”

Somebody just canceled their subscription.

Shannen Doherty is back around because of a show they revived from the 90’s Beverly Hills 90210. I missed seeing her acting since she left Charmed. Although, I liked her character better on Charmed then on BH90210! In the October/November issue of Radar magazine that she covers she talks about germophobia, her shoe-ophilia, her Christian leanings, and her kind of, maybe wavering Republicanism. Here are some highlights of the interview…

On how it felt to be hated by the tabloids: “I was exploring who I was as a person and testing my own boundaries and trying to be a normal 18-, 19-, 20-year-old, and I got raked over the coals. Many nights I cried myself to sleep over that stuff.”

On the worst lie she ever read about herself: “There’ve been so many. One of those bullshit rags [wrote that I'd entered AA]. They said that I was so, quote, ’scared of the drink’ that I was sleeping on my sponsor’s couch. Now, I’ve never been in AA. I accompanied my husband to AA meetings�actually, I forced him to go to one�but I’ve never actually gone for myself. Sometimes you can find some truth, a little nugget somewhere, but not one thing about this was true … But people sell their stories and make their 500 bucks at your expense, and it’s like, ‘Wow. Really?’”

I think this girl is back to stay…we might as well get used to it. Pick up the issue of Radar on new stands now.

Fellas, you remember your first real college party? There was that one girl at the party that was posted in the queen bee spot among all the cool girls? Yeah, her– the one that was showing just the right amount of midriff, and sipped on her drink like it was Dom Perignon (even though it was the same flat Natural Light we all had in our plastic red cups). Imagine her name is Lady Gaga, and she’s “polite” nice for the first five minutes, but by the end either the alcohol and/or your charm (emphasis on the charm of course) officially won her over, and you got a couple awkward grind dances out of it. K, now combine in a few DNA strands from David Bowie and Grace Jones‘ lovechild, and you’ve got my interview earlier last month with one of pop music’s fastest rising starlets.

Maybe it’s the fact that in some ways she’s the anti-starlet that’s garnering her this much attention but under the artistic wing of a dream-team of sorts between Akon and producer RedOne, “Just Dance” is one of the summer’s sleeper hits that’s becoming as infectious as it is respected.

The audio is kinda muffled at times, I’m blaming it on my mental images of the 22-year old (real name Stefani Germanotta) literally cuddling up with her phone receiver, purring into the ear (or at least the awkwardly placed speaker phone) on the other end of the line.She discusses everything from growing up in New York, being dropped by Def Jam, why she wasn’t necessarily sent to this planet to save Britney Spears, but she at least co-wrote two songs for her upcoming album (”Quicksand” and “Underground”) as well as New Kids on the Block (”Big Girl Now”), Nicole Scherzinger (”Whatever U Like”) and every song on her upcoming project The Fame in stores October 7th.
