Isla Fisher just looked too damn good at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Governor’s Island in New York.  Check her out!  Not that she doesn’t always look great, but she is especially awesome here.    Cute dress, cute shoes, cute bag, great smile, gorgeous hair… she’s got it all.   Way to go, Isla!

The event was a benefit for Hope Help And Rebuild Haiti (HHRH), an initiative launched by Donna Karan‘s Urban Zen Foundation following the Haitian earthquake in January 2010.   HHRH’s mission is to create a conscious community of leaders in music, fashion, film, finance and art to become agents of change for the renewal of Haiti.  With supporters like Isla and the other attendees at the event, they’re surely well on their way.

Isla Fisher is in talks for a role in the upcoming remake The Great Gatsby from Moulin Rouge! director Baz Lurhmann.

Isla Fisher is in negotiations to join Baz Lurhmann’s 3D adaptation of The Great Gatsby being made by Warner Bros.

Fisher will join Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan. Ben Affleck is also in negotiations to join the production, which is eyeing a late summer start…

…Fisher will play Myrtle, a married woman having an affair with Buchanan. She is later killed by a speeding car, an event that leads to the book’s tragic ending.

Fisher is good, I’m sure she’ll be a great addition to this movie. I’ve yet to see her do a fully serious role like this, she’s always making me laugh in her comedic roles. Affleck is officially out of the picture, which I’m glad about, he doesn’t seem like a good fit for this kind of movie. This movie is guaranteed to be a big one when it’s released next year.

Isla Fisher attended the premiere of Rango at the Regency’s Village Theater in Westwood, California on Monday, February 14th.

Fisher, who wore a lovely ocean blue colored Temperley London mini dress, said costar Johnny Depp was easy on the eyes:

“Unfortunately Johnny had to look at me everyday for four weeks, fortunately for me I got to look at him and it was great fun,” she joked.

Fisher, who happens to be married to Sasha Baron Cohen, praised Depp for his easy going attitude:

“[He's] very easy to get along with, very funny, very nice, very talented, I have nothing but great things to say about Johnny – me and the rest of the world!” she laughed.

Rango opens March 4th.

Isla Fisher is looking pretty preggers these days, but that isn’t slowing her down one bit.  When it’s baby number two, you just keep going!  Her daughter, Olive had dance class in Toluca Lake and mama wasn’t missing a moment. How cute is Olive?  I wonder if she’s getting a baby brother or sister?

Congrats once again! Isla Fisher and Sasha Baron Cohen tied the knot last week in Paris (details here) and now I’ve got the first snaps of Isla’s wedding ring!

Sasha, Isla, and little Olive were putting in some heavy duty shopping in France when Olive’s stroller tipped over!  It’was all good and pretty much a good laugh…. and hey!  It gave us a quick snap of that rock on Isla’s finger!

It’s about time!  Isla Fisher and Sasha Baron Cohen have finally tied the knot.  The cute couple has been together for more than a decade.  They chose an intimate, traditional Jewish ceremony in Paris, avoiding all the stress and chaos of a traditional, big wedding.

Isla shared the happy news with friends via email the day after the nuptials,

“We did it – we’re married!  It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much.  I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”

Way to go!  I am very happy for this unique, very in love couple!

I didn’t know that Courteney Cox and Isla Fisher knew each other? They were seen laughing while they were leaving Joan’s On Third where they ate lunch together.

Courteney was also seen talking to Brad Pitt the other night at a concert they were both at. How nice that she would still talk to him even though he’s no longer with Jennifer Aniston. (You would have to be living under a rock to not know they split up.)

“Instead of ignoring him, Courteney chatted away with Brad all night. The three were in great spirits and seemed really happy to see each other.”

How mature are they? I think maybe someone should be paying attention.

Isla Fisher was simply stunning at the London premiere of her hit movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic. She chose quite a daring dress, which when viewed from behind makes you wonder exactly when she’s going to do a Britney.� It also shows just how well she got her body back after giving birth to little Olive. Yowza!!

With her Confessions of a Shopoholic movie due to hit theaters February 13, Isla Fisher has been hitting the promotional circuit hard. Yesterday she showed up to the Ed Sullivan Theatre for David Letterman looking freaking fierce! She rocked a white mini dress with cap sleeves and gathering to the hip. To accessorize, she paired an over-the-top, blingin’ metallic circle necklace with metallic platform peep-toe heels. And does this girls have some nice stems or what?

Fisher posed for FHM’s December edition, making redheads everywhere proud. Now she’s classin’ it up in the “Big Apple” as a leading lady. Borat is one lucky man!!

Isla Fisher along with Alfred Molina, Ray Winstone, Harry Dean Stanton and Ned Beatty have joined Johnny Depp andAbigail Breslin as voices in the animated film Rango directed by Gore Verbinski.

They will star opposite Johnny Depp and Abigail Breslin in the Paramount Pictures project, which centers on a household pet (Depp) who goes on an adventure to discover his true self.

The film isn’t going to be out until March 18th, 2011. Don’t get too excited yet.
