The younger of the Spears sisters had decided she is just too young to get married right now.  Jamie Lynn Spears, 18, has broken off her engagement with Casey Aldridge. The two got engaged over a year ago while she was pregnant with the couple’s daughter, Maddie Briann.

“Casey proposed when Jamie turned 17. He gave her a gold band with numerous diamonds and one larger stone, but now she has given it back to him.”
“Jamie wasn’t ready to get married. It’s been more than enough for her to adjust to new motherhood for now.”

Just because the wedding is off does not mean that the two are no longer together.  Jamie is said to be happy just being together as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby daddy, Casey Aldridge has been released from the hospital after his intense car accident.  Thankfully Casey wasn’t driving drunk even though that’s what it looked like since he rolled his truck on his way home from a bachelor party.

“He’ll have to have some rest for the next few weeks. He’s still got a headache, but everything looks good,” says the source.

“They’re both at the house in Liberty [Miss.]… Now Jamie Lynn will have two babies to care for.”

So, it’s two babies for Jamie Lynn.  She’s young and she’s in love. I am sure that she can handle it.

I’m glad that Casey is on the mend.  Now maybe this life changing accident has him thinking about a more ‘permanent’ future with Jamie.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby daddy, Casey Aldridge was rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Mississippi after being involved in a car crash last night. Jamie Lynn reportedly rushed to the hospital and is by his side when doctors fear the worse.

Aldridge was driving home at 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he wrecked his Ford F150 with two male pals in the car, one of whom broke his collar bone. The source adds that Casey has a hematoma and doctors fear he has a blood clot in his brain. He may be heading into surgery, a source tells.

TMZ reports Casey lost control of his car and no other vehicle was involved in the accident. He was charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, but there is good news: Casey only has “a cracked skull” and has been “in and out” of consciousness, however “it’s not as serious as we thought at first.”

Jamie Lynn Spears isn’t letting mommyhood slow her down.  Way back in 2002 she predicted music in her future.

“I’ll probably do a lot of acting first, then go to singing,” she said, “but I am going to definitely sing someday. So when I do start singing, buy my album!”

Now it looks like she is putting her money where her mouth was:

Jamie Lynn Spears wants to try her hand at country music. Britney Spears’ baby sis has relocated to Mississippi since the birth of her daughter, Maddie, and “has quietly been working on a country album since last fall,” says a source close to the family.

Jamie’s baby girl, Maddie will be 1 in June and I doubt she will be trying for another baby anytime soon.  So, maybe she can find success in the country music industry.

Britney Spears brother Bryan Spears found a great way to celebrate the New Year - he married his girlfriend of two years, Graciella Sanchez.

“It was beautiful. “It was only close family, very small and intimate.”

And it really was only close family.  The guest list included the bride and groom’s parents, his sisters Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears, his niece Maddie and nephews Sean and Jayden, and Jamie Lynn’s fiance Casey Aldridge.

The couple were married at the historic Latrobe’s On Royal in New Orleans.  As we reported yesterday, Graciella is Jamie Lynn’s manager.  Congratulations to the happy couple!

Britney Spears‘ brother Bryan Spears (there they are above out on the town together) is reportedly set to marry his girlfriend, Graciella Sanchez, in a New Year’s Eve ceremony.  Sanchez is manager to her soon to be sister-in-law, Jamie Lynn Spears.

It appears the wedding will take place in Louisiana, and it sounds rather rushed.

“It is going to be a very small, private ceremony…They only planned it about a week ago.”

The Daily Mail has published a truly bizarre story by reporter Sharon Churcher.  Seven years ago, she traveled to Kentwood, Louisiana to interview Britney Spears‘ dad, Jamie Spears, at his home.

She nearly wasn’t allowed to leave.  She relates:

Every time I got up to go, he picked up a large carving knife and theatrically stabbed it into the wooden table at which we were sitting.

‘You can sleep here,’ he said. ‘You said you wanted to know what it was like being Britney.’

Jamie, who “had been drinking heavily,” kept an airgun close by him during the interview.   He also had help keeping Churcher in the house.

Two growling alsatians, a rottweiler and a man  Spears claimed was a ‘bodyguard’ prowled the creaky back porch, which had been converted into a makeshift redneck bar complete with illuminated Budweiser sign, beer and whisky…his ‘bodyguard’ cooked a huge iron pan of crayfish outside on a camping stove.

Churcher was subjected to Jamie making drunken confessions about his financial siutation and trying to hug her before she

finally managed to escape after Jamie and his ‘bodyguard’ escorted me to a local bar, where he said they needed to buy more beer.

I realize that Jamie has supposedly been sober for some time now, but THIS is the guy who is in charge of Britney’s money and affairs??   That’s more than a little scary!  Given this information, it’s easy to see why Brit and sister Jamie Lynn are so messed up.   And I bet that this reporter has never gone on another assignment again without taking someone with her.  I sure wouldn’t, after going through all that.

On Thursday rumors ran rampant that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant with her second child. It was because she didn’t know you could get pregnant while nursing. And since the National Enquirer was the one running the story everyone took it with a grain of salt.

Now Jamie Lynn’s rep has released a statement to finally get down to the bottom of the rumor.

“It is pathetic for the National Enquirer to attempt to create a wholly baseless ‘rumor’ that Ms. Spears is pregnant, so it can run a malicious story and false story which would be emotionally devastating to a morally upright 17-year-old girl.”

That National Enquirer should be shot in the foot. When is someone going to actually sue them for making up their stories? And Jamie Lynn should keep her legs closed!

Yes, Jamie Lynn Spears has done it again. She is pregnant for the second time. The National Enquirer (who was right by the way on her first pregnancy) is saying she’s about eight weeks along. This just comes after having her baby, Maddie, just three months ago. Jamie Lynn wants to keep it a secret and friends are saying may be she should abort (but will that really solve the problem?).

“Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical,” revealed a close source. “Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out.”

The pregnancy comes as a surprise because Jamie Lynn didn’t know you could get pregnant while you are breast feeding…

“Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding,” said the close source. “She’d expected to have her period by early September.” A home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out, said the source.

Lynne Spears was said to be livid when she found out. Friends are still trying to talk Jamie Lynn out of this one and abort as soon as she can. (Again, what is that going to prove?)

“They’ve reminded Jamie Lynn how much trouble she had adjusting to motherhood with Maddie, and pointed out that having a second baby now would only be a recipe for disaster,” said the close source.

I wonder who the baby daddy is? They are making it such a secret! And with Casey Aldridge and her on the outs every other day who knows who it could be. I just hope this rumor is false! So what do you believe…is she pregnant or not?

While several reports are claiming Jamie Lynn is preggers again, an unimpeachable source tells TMZ Britney’s baby sis does not have another bun in the oven.

Jamie Lynn Spears had her baby, Maddie, when she was 17. I am freaked at how people are encouraging it all. My mom had me when she was 16 so  I am not a stranger to hearing about this. I think it’s great that she is stepping up and taking care of what she did. Everyone makes mistakes and I have a feeling that Jamie Lynn will only grow from this moment on. But I think she needs to do that away from the public’s eyes.

How proud are you of the way Jamie Lynn handled the pregnancy?
She’s been totally responsible. She is an old soul and very wise at such a young age.

We have a history of difficult labors, and I didn’t want her to be terrified and never want to have another baby because mine were traumatic. I really worried about that, but my goodness, she just flew right on through it.

Describe that first moment when you saw Jamie Lynn, Maddie and Casey together.
Oh, my god. That is one of your most precious moments ever. Just that sight. It is indescribable.

What do your grandkids call you?
I started out being Nonnie, but it turned into Me-Ma.

Jamie Lynn Spears has already pimped out her daughter Maddie Briann on the cover of OK! Magazine.

In the interview, she spills about her labor (induced) and delivery (natural); what kind of baby Maddie is (good); and what her life is like now (happy).  None of that is all that interesting to me.  What IS interesting is her comment about deciding to live in Louisiana as opposed to Hollywood:

“Around here, everyone has the same focus.  The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live.”

Wow.  I don’t know about y’all but I can’t think of anything LESS family focused or MORE H-wood than selling pictures of your baby to a GOSSIP MAGAZINE.

Britney Spears was seen with her bodyguard today arriving at her lawyers…I have to say she is looking smoking hot these days. And I think she is getting things back on track…

Now that Britney sees her little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, with her new baby she knows what she needs to do…

The tell-all book that Lynne Spears is set to release about her daughters’ life and career is infuriating Britney Spears. The troubled star is so mad at her mom that she refuses to be in the same room with her, which threatened her presence in the delivery room to support younger sister Jamie Lynn.

A source said: “Britney was so upset and angry with her mom that at first she refused to be at the birth. She couldn’t bear to be in the same room as her.

“But when Jamie Lynn found out that Britney might not be in there, she got really frightened and couldn’t stop crying. She begged her sister to reconsider, and at the last minute Britney agreed to come.”

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think Britney is right! Brit wants to protect her family and it doesn’t seem like a book now will be the right thing. Actually it might be an embarrassing disaster for Brit and her sister.

Britney is willing to pay her mother the equivalent of the book money to keep her quiet. I guess money is the key here… pimp mom is just finding another way to cash in and do even more damage to her daughters’ damaged lives!

New mom Jamie Lynn Spears has been released from the hospital.  She was driven home at 1:40 am by baby daddy and fiance Casey Aldridge.

Jamie Lynn “sat in the back seat surrounded by a white sheet,” according to Us Magazine.  I think we can assume Maddie Briann was hiding under there, especially because the couple received a police escort as they left the Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center.

Awwww, Maddie’s first police escort.  Just like her aunt Brit-Brit!  I swear the people of Mississippi and Louisiana are probably sorry the Spears family ever decided to settle there!!
