‘The Bachelor’ Reunion Special- The Women Tell All… Kind Of

As we expected from a TWO HOUR reunion special, ‘The Bachelor: The Women Tell All‘ began with a lot of fluff. Chris and Jason reminisced… lots of already seen footage, a couple boring unseen scenes. Blah blah blah. Filler filler filler.
Next up- Trista and Ryan. Her pick for Jason is Melissa. Baby Max wrote a little poem for baby sister in his mommy’s belly. How sweet!! They are the major success story- no secret formula, just another way to form a relationship and they are so blessed. True that!
Another success story: Charlie O’Connell and Sarah Brice. They broke up initially because of Charlie’s drinking, but things are great now and he’s completely sober. They found each other again in crazy costumes at a Halloween party and things have been great ever since. They hope to have a family and be together forever… for now they are working on their “near perfect” relationship.
The boys from Deanna’s season and the girls from Matt’s season get together frequently for their own version of the show. Holly and Robert dated, but he got creepy and now she’s with Deanna dumpee, Jesse!!! Graham hooked up with hottie Amanda (the girl every guy wanted). Fred and Noel are together, very lovey dovey mushy and SUPER cute.
Now- finally- the women are actually back to tell all. Footage of all the backstabbing comments by the ladies… and then their reactions. Erica and Lauren verbally lash each other, then Natalie goes into how she had no idea no one liked her in the house.
Finally the dirty stuff!!!!!!!!!
Time for Natalie’s hot seat: she doesn’t like jewelry. Riiiight. They watch footage of her last date with Jason, her ranting about how hot she was, and how terrible Megan is. Ouch. She then complains about how she had no Blackberry, no iPod, no life and was stuck in the mansion all the time. What did you expect? Chris calls her out for not exactly avoiding confrontation, and Natalie gets flustered about constantly being stereotyped. Nikki is called upon to talk about how everyone got “bad energy” from Nat and even Kari- the sweetest girl in the house- had issues with her. The girls talk about how Natalie freaked out when someone splashed her in the pool. Chris asked if the same problems she had with the girls was the same prob she had with Jason… and she apologetically said she’s over the top and that’s just who she is. You got that right, sister.
Next up, Jillian’s hot seat: Jillian gets emotional after seeing footage of their last days together in New Zealand. She explains her massive love for him and how she was only ever worried at the last rose ceremony. Chris comments that it was always very natural between the two of them, and Jill says she always felt like she had the cat in the bag because they were so great together. Ultimately she got the “friend card”, and she says she was frustrated because they never got to see if it would progress. When asked what she learned about love, she said she knows that she can love, and that she will find love. When asked if she would be the Bachelorette, she said yes (but please Lord don’t let that happen).
And now, Jason’s return!! He says that he did his best, and developed strong feelings for many of these women. Jillian says his excuse that “he couldn’t keep up with her” was bogus because he would marry Eval Kineval. She wanted him to just tell her that it just wasn’t there. Jillian really hit him hard with this one: they went on a date and kissed, and the next day he went on a date with Melissa and kissed her and told her he hadn’t had a kiss like that in a long time… but he had just kissed Jill the night before. What was that?!! His response that it was really what he was feeling and the connection he had with Melissa then was different.
For Naomi, Jason felt like she needed to explore the world and needed to spread her wings. She agreed that in hindsight he was definitely right, but at the time the reason they didn’t work is just because they weren’t meant to be together. With Stephanie, they both express the want to be friends forever, and Jason dwells on his incredible respect for her.
Then came some funny unseen footage of the ladies- burping, sniffing their puts, acting crazy, swatting bees, Jason getting thrown off a horse, etc.
Chris asks if Jason is happy, and he answers that he is extremely happy… Then came footage of both the ladies with everyone narrating it. Jason calls Melissa the “sweetest, most beautiful, most fun person” he’d ever met and cannot get enough of her. He says she is everything he wants in a wife. His attraction to Molly was from the start- with her it’s fun, exciting and passionate. Everything changed for the better in New Zealand when she opened up to him, and after that it was “unreal”. She’s “every guy’s dream”. Nice!
This was an exceptionally boring reunion- everybody still loves Jason, nobody’s mad at him, so besides the tiny spats with Natalie, Lauren, Megan, and Erica, there was no drama. BORING! Next week is when all the fun happens!!
