Jennifer Hudson is still a brand new mommy and now she has even more be happy about!  Her sister Julia is pregnant! Jen gets to be an Auntie all to a new little bundle of joy.   Julia is four months along, so the cousins will be close in age.

The sisters have bonded in the aftermath of  the October 24, 2008 murders of their mother, Darnell Donerson, brother, Jason, and Julia’s son 7 year old son, Julian.

This has been a very tragic time in their lives and now the joy is starting to come back.  Two new, little lives to fill the void.

Congratulations to the whole family!  These cousins are going to be best friends!

In a year that has been marked with hardships for Jennifer Hudson, it is wonderful news to report that she had a baby boy!  David Daniel Otunga, Jr entered the world yesterday (August 10th) and is the first child for the singer and academy award winning actress with her fiance, David Daniel Otunga.

Hudson never officially announced that she was expecting a baby, but it became obvious when she appeared at the Michael Jackson memorial in July.

Congratulations to the new family.

Yesterday at the Michael Jackson Memorial, Jennifer Hudson’s baby bump made an appearance.  I think she looked gorgeous.  Definitely glowing from within.  Beyond the grief, you could see the “motherly twinkle” in her eyes.

I love this snap of Usher giving Jennifer’s bump some love.  It’s so sweet and I think a very special moment for her.  This is one for the baby book.

Jennifer, you look gorgeous.  Pregnancy looks great on you!  Can’t wait to see your little bundle of joy, you’re almost there!

This film was supposed to come out months ago, now finally it’s going to see the light of day, hopefully it does well, it’s got a stellar cast.

Baby rumors have been running rampant around Jennifer Hudson lately, with people wondering if she was just embracing her curvalicious self even more, or if there was a bun baking in that over of hers.  But the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that the singer recently returned to her hometown of Chicago to celebrate her pregnancy with a big baby shower.

The reports came after Hudson postponed recent concert tour dates claiming vocal cord strain. She also was seen at public appearances wearing tops with loose waists.

For the record, Jennifer’s publicist denied the speculation back in April. If it is true, we wish the best to Jennifer and fiance David Otunga! We love you guys!

BABY!!!  I am so happy for Jennifer Hudson.  She and her fiance, David Otunga are expecting their first child.  They have yet to set a date for their wedding..but, maybe now a little one will be part of the ceremony.

I think that this baby will be such a joy for Jennifer after all the heartbreak she has suffered from.

Jennifer was on tour until May 8th with Robin Thicke.  I say it is perfect iming to end the tour.  Jennifer will need some time off her feet!

Congrats to Jennifer and David.  We are very happy for you guys!

Now that her life is returning to some sort of normalcy, Jennifer Hudson is jumping back in the saddle planning her wedding to her ex-I Love New York contestant fiance, David Otunga. She recently dished to Access Hollywood about the plans she’s made so far:

“I’m gonna design my own dress…definitely classic, more traditional than anything. I want it to be nice and traditional, but very classy, very classy.” … Jennifer also plans on including her three dogs in the ceremony.  She says they might get dressed up in tuxes or dresses.  She adds, “Oscar [her dog] might be the ring bearer.”

When asked if she would be singing at the nuptials, Jennifer replied, “I sang for everybody else’s wedding, I might as well sing for my own! Actually, that’s how I started. I was the wedding singer, the funeral singer, sang at every church program, anything I could sing at, I sang for.”

We are so happy for Jennifer and David. I hope he brings her the peace and happiness she deserves in life… Can’t wait til the big day!!!

Though Simon Cowell told her she’d always be a back-up singer when she was on American Idol, Jennifer Hudson still loves the show and is making a return this season.

The Grammy- and Oscar-winning actress, singer and “Idol” alum is scheduled to tape a performance in front of the studio audience on Wednesday after the live broadcast has ended, says a person close to the show who did not want his or her name used because the person was not authorized to speak to reporters.

This will be the first time Jennifer has performed on Idol since the tragic murders of her family members. She is totally a class-act and I can’t wait to see it!

Recent Grammy awards performer and winner Jennifer Hudson will be kicking off her world tour in just a few weeks. The former American Idol finalist will begin her first solo tour in Philadelphia on April 2.

“I am so grateful — my first Grammy and my first tour,” she told People.� “It doesn’t get better than that.”

Hudson will co-headline the five-week U.S. tour with R&B singer Robin Thicke, according to People, which added it will come to a close on May 8 in Houston, TX.

Congratulations to Jennifer. It’s bittersweet that her mom and brother aren’t around to see it, but I am sure they are smiling down on her right now.
