The men of Desperate Housewives need to be a bit more careful!  Last month Gale Harold was injured in a motorcycle accident.   Now, hot gardner boy Jesse Metcalfe has broken his leg.

Metcalfe was in Monte Carlo hosting the World Music Awards.  He “slipped as he headed back to his hotel to change” and fell

40 feet from a hotel balcony down two flights of stairs...He was rushed to hospital, then flown to London to be re-examined. An MRI brain scan gave him the all-clear but doctors confirmed he had fractured his fibula.

Ow!  He is super lucky he only broke his leg - that kind of accident could easily have been fatal!  But I’m sure that if he needs comfort during his recovery, there are plenty of women - on and off Wisteria Lane - who would be more than happy to help.  Get well soon, Jesse!

Our favorite gardener is going downhill!! I mean I thought Jesse Metcalfe used to look so hot shirtless and mowing the lawn in Desperate Housewives but he recently seems to have gained a lot of weight. What a waste… such defined abs going to waste! Or we can blame it on the light or angle of the pictures and continue to bamboozle ourselves!

I guess what Jesse really needs is to work! Not just workout (that’s obvious!) but actually work on something else besides riding his best friend, the Harley Davidson!

It is well known that Jesse Metcalfe and Nadine Coyle were having trouble and that Jesse recently checked himself into rehab for an alchohol problem.  They have now decided to call it quits on their 15 month relationship.

Metcalfe’s publicist , without elaborating on any cause for the split, simply stated “They have decided to part ways.”

In March, The Sun newspaper ran an item claiming that Coyle was furious at Metcalfe for being spotted with a mystery woman in LA.  Metcalfe’s rep says the report is “simply untrue”.

Coyle’s rep could not be reached for comment.

News of the World claims that Nadine was fed up with Jesse’s jealous fits.  Supposedly a source from Jesse’s camp said ”Nadine dumped Jesse because he’s a complete control freak. She was fed up of his jealous rages and after thinking about it long and hard decided to get rid of him.

“She really loved Jesse, but his rages got worse. He would cause huge rows and Nadine would back down, trying to make a joke of it at first.
“But it was constant and in the end drove a wedge between them.”

Nadine told the Daily Mirror: “It’s over between Jesse and me. I’m not the kind of girl to put up with nonsense like that. I’ll meet the right person when the time is right. I’m disappointed but what can I do?

“There’s no point hanging on when it gets to this stage. I’m busy doing work with Girls Aloud, so I have plenty going on.”

Ahhh young love!

According to the Daily Mirror, Jesse Metcalfe, the hunky gardener from Desperate Housewives may soon be baring it all, replacing Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in the West End production of Equus. 

Metcalfe, seemingly following the trend of young Hollywood, is currently in rehab after a four day drunken binge in LA. 

He may want to leave those shears behind.
