Here’s the first official photo for the upcoming film The A-Team. Click on it to see the larger version.

/Film reader Dr. Malo sent over the first official photo from Joe Carnahan’s big screen adaptation of The A-Team. The film stars Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, Liam Neeson as Col John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, Sharlto Copley as Capt. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as Sgt Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus. The film is currently in production, aiming for a June 11th 2010 release.

Looks pretty cool, I’m hoping it’s a really tight action film that doesn’t rely too heavily on referencing the old show.

Here’s a first look at the upcoming film The A-Team from Entertainment Tonight.

Its good to see all of them in costume, and it really feels like this movie is going to actually work. It’s been a long time coming and it looks like the actors are up to the task.

Jessica Biel and Sharlto Copley are in final negotiations to star in the feature film The A-Team with Copley playing Murdock. They join Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Sharlto Copley, the star of this summer’s breakout hit “District 9,” is in final negotiations to portray “Howling Mad” Murdock in Fox’s “A-Team” feature film. Jessica Biel is also in negotiations to join the production.

Copley and Biel will join Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson to round out the special forces team convicted of a crime they didn’t commit and on the run from government forces. Joe Carnahan is directing the adaptation of the 1980s television show, while Ridley and Tony Scott produce.

Copley seemingly came out of nowhere to star in “District 9,” landing the role in the movie due to childhood friend Neill Blomkamp’s fondness for Copley’s improvisational skills, skills which will be ideally suited to the Murdock character.

Great news for all the A-Team fans out there, the film starts shooting in Canada in late fall. So I wouldn’t expect this one till summer 2011.

Jessica Biel has made lots of movies and TV shows, but appeared on stage for the first time this weekend at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Guys and Dolls.

Actually it wasn’t the very first time Jessica had performed on stage. She said:

“I did one thing in college. In college, I did a concert version of ‘Tommy’ when I was in college. But, other than that … “

Biel played Sarah Brown, a missionary who battles morally with a group of gamblers - until she falls in love with one of them.

The actress says that Broadway could be next on her agenda.

“Oh, yeah. I would love to.  Literally, that is one of my eight-year-old dreams. That’s like my little eight-year-old inside me is cartwheeling around, thinking about that idea.”

She could totally do it - lots of movie actors and actresses are making the jump to Broadway.   Good luck and congratulations, Jessica!

Want the body of a Hollywood actress? Be prepared to work for it. Actress Jessica Biel recently said that she works hard, very hard, to look good while preparing for a role.

“I’ve worked out five hours, sometimes more, in a single day, if I’m in training for a film role or something,” she said. “And it’s hard — it’s very hard!”

Holy cow! That is a lot of time to spend per day working out. I mean, her boy is fantastic and certainly fit in an athletic way.

I guess all that work is paying off!

The rumors are always going with these two, but now we have more. It seems that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel may be having a few problems in their relationship. Just what seems to be the problem for the couple that have been together for the past two years? Justin may be thinking that Jessica’s a bit smothering.

It was all to have started back in February when Justin headed to Las Vegas to be with his boys, without Jessica.

“Justin had to leave dinner once because Jessica was calling him incessantly,” added the pal. “They got into a huge screaming match over the phone about how she’s always ‘checking up’ on him. She’s extremely needy and is always keeping tabs on him.

“All his friends think she’s really annoying. She’s always trying to be one of the guys. She and Justin have no chemistry.

“Justin is partying in London right now. Jessica wanted to go with him, but he wasn’t having it. He just wanted to get away with the guys. He needed his space from her.”

Oh it’s never a good thing when your man’s friends don’t like you at all. It’s even worse when your partner does not want to be around you. Ouch.

Jessica Biel stars in the 1930’s period piece Easy Virtue, and she channels every last drop of that era for the June/July 2009 issue of Gotham.    Do you have something to fan yourself with?  Good, because you are going to need it!  Jessica is smoking hot!

A few highlights from the accompanying interview…

On her Easy Virtue character, Larita Whittaker:

“I thought she was pretty amazing.  She’s so effortlessly witty and sarcastic and fantastic and glamorous and tough—all the characteristics that I want to be as an actual woman. And she’s cool as a cucumber…but at the same time extremely vulnerable, and a real person who is hurt by these experiences. She’s not just a stone.”

On having achieved sex symbol status:

“I don’t really think about those things and think, Oooh, yay—I’ve made a mark, all right.  But balancing the idea of being very sexy and then also being really attainable, kind of like a girl-next-door quality, is I think really important. To be able to bounce back and forth. [Because sometimes] the interesting characters are dark, conflicted…tortured souls; those are the characters I’m most interested in playing.”

On what she loves about New York:

“I really like just wandering around, finding a shop, sitting down, having a coffee, reading something, getting lost, grabbing a cab.  That’s so fun.”

I’ve got to admit, Jessica is growing on me.   She seems to be getting more real with time.  Or maybe her beau Justin Timberlake is a good influence on her!

A huge cast of big stars is being assembled for the new film Valentine’s Day. Including, Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper and Ashton Kutcher.

Garry Marshall directs the romantic-comedy ensemble which has five slightly interconnecting stories playing out during a Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles.

• Roberts plays an army officer on leave from Iraq on a flight to Los Angeles.
• Cooper, on the same flight, is a gay man whose lover is a closeted football player.
• Kutcher is an owner of a flower shop who proposes to his girlfriend (Alba), only to realize he is in love with his close friend (Garner) who discovers her boyfriend is married.
• MacLaine plays Roberts’ mother, a happy retiree who reveals to her husband a long-ago affair.
• Hathaway is an assistant working at the biggest talent agency in town and dating a mailroom assistant
• Biel is a publicist unlucky in love who has no date on Valentine’s Day.

Katherine Fugate wrote the initial draft, while Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein penned the latest. Wayne Rice and Mike Karz are producing.

Lots of big people means it will bring in an audience regardless of the movie quality. With a director like Gary Marshall though its sure to be fun and lighthearted.

Jessica Biel is by no means my favorite actress, but even I have to agree that she looked incredible at a New York screening of her new movie, Easy Virtue.

This goddess-style dress really flatters her figure.  Très Old Hollywood!  I think she could have gone with more elegant shoes, but I will forgive her because everything else is so fab.

Easy Virtue is based on a play by Noël Coward, and was first made into a silent movie by Alfred Hitchcock in 1928.  Also appearing?  Ben Barnes, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Colin Firth.

I guess Tuesday night the basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz was boring because when the jumbo tron camera centered in on Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel they decided to give a show. I’m not sure how many other people really wanted to see Justin mount Jessica but I’m sure there was a fair amount of screaming.

Justin’s glasses are killing me. I wonder where you can get them! I am sure they wouldn’t look nearly as good as me as they do him though! That boy sure can dress with style.

Justin Timberlake is a lucky man to have beautiful actress Jessica Biel by his side. Despite the rumors their relationship is on the rocks, Justin declares they couldn’t be happier and the secret to their union is the fact they can both make each other laugh so easily.

Justin said: “We get along so well. The first thing we noticed when we started going out is how easily we made each other laugh. Sometimes when you meet someone it feels right from the beginning.
“We have a natural way of being together. I’m a lucky guy. I’ve been very lucky to find a woman as dynamic and as loving as Jessica.

Sexy Jessica Biel plays a stripper in her upcoming movie, Powder Blue.   Having never been a stripper before, she needed some training in the matter.  Check her out working her moves!   I’d say she learned a great deal, don’t you think?

But it didn’t come easy.  Jessica said:
