Jessica Biel On Glamour UK Cover

A-Team actress Jessica Biel landed the cover of Glamour UK for August. Biel, who works out regularly and fasts to get her enviable body says she is not above skipping her exercise routine or chowing down one day a week:

“I’m not a perfect person who doesn’t mess up, eat bad, not work out–I do all those things,” Biel tells the magazine. “When I’m working and I eat healthily all week, I then give myself one day–usually Sunday–when I just eat what I want. You have to, otherwise your mind goes a little nutso.”

Unfortunately, nothing she does will make her look flattering in that terrible fuzzy nonsense of a dress that was chosen to use for the cover shot. Why use that terrible washed out thistle color? She’s a pretty girl and who gets overpowered by the vibrant typeface against the dusty color of her clothing. Bad editors! Bad!

New ‘Valentine’s Day’ Featuring Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift

lautnerswift

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming star packed romantic comedy Valentine’s Day, coming out on February 12th, 2010. This one features Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift.

This trailer is certainly better than the last version, it seems the re-shoots might have actually helped. And clearly they added the stuff with Lautner and Swift to pull in a bigger audience. Regardless, I still have no interest in seeing this.

Star Packed New ‘Valentine’s Day’ Poster

Valentine's Day Poster

Here’s the newest poster for the romantic comedy, Valentine’s Day. It features  Ashton Kutcher, Emma Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, Topher Grace and Bradley Cooper just to name a few.

This movie is packed with stars, but but that doesn’t nessesarily make it a great film. I know one of bit part actors in the film, and she said they were going back to re-shoot scenes they’d already finished. That may just mean test audiences didn’t like something and the studio wanted some things tweaked. In any case, this movie will be THE date movie for it’s upcoming Valentine’s Day release.

Jessica Biel Finds Relationship Rumors Weird

Jessica Biel at the premiere of 'Planet 51'.

There are always rumors swirling around Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. The actress recently said that she finds all of the attention she gets to be “weird”.

It’s definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with,”

“But you have to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do.

“You do really have to just get into a place where you feel Zen about it – take a deep breath and know that somebody is going to be taking your picture while you’re going to the laundry and picking up your dry cleaning.”

I cannot imagine having anyone take pictures of me throughout the day. I always look awful. But if I was an actress and my job relied on the press I got, I’d learn to be “Zen” about it, too.

Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz Doing ‘A-Team’ Cameos

Dirk BenedictDwight Shultz

Original A-Team actors Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz will both have cameo roles in the upcoming A-Team movie.

Just a few weeks ago, Peter Hall brought you the news that Dwight Schultz, aka the original Howlin’ Mad Murdock, had earned a cameo in Joe Carnahan’s remake of The A-Team. Obviously, you can’t invite Schultz and not invite the rest of the surviving team, and it seems Faceman will also be getting some facetime. According to Dirk Benedict Central, Dirk Benedict will also be appearing in the film in an unspecified role.

Fans of the show must be getting more and more excited. I personally only saw an episode or two of the original show so my excitement isn’t really there, but hey it does sound like a lot of fun anyway.

First Official ‘A-Team’ Photo Looking Good

Here’s the first official photo for the upcoming film The A-Team. Click on it to see the larger version.

/Film reader Dr. Malo sent over the first official photo from Joe Carnahan’s big screen adaptation of The A-Team. The film stars Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, Liam Neeson as Col John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, Sharlto Copley as Capt. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as Sgt Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus. The film is currently in production, aiming for a June 11th 2010 release.

Looks pretty cool, I’m hoping it’s a really tight action film that doesn’t rely too heavily on referencing the old show.

‘A-Team’ Casting Nearly Completed, Guess Who’s Playing Murdock!

copleyateamcast

Jessica Biel and Sharlto Copley are in final negotiations to star in the feature film The A-Team with Copley playing Murdock. They join Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Sharlto Copley, the star of this summer’s breakout hit “District 9,” is in final negotiations to portray “Howling Mad” Murdock in Fox’s “A-Team” feature film. Jessica Biel is also in negotiations to join the production.

Copley and Biel will join Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson to round out the special forces team convicted of a crime they didn’t commit and on the run from government forces. Joe Carnahan is directing the adaptation of the 1980s television show, while Ridley and Tony Scott produce.

Copley seemingly came out of nowhere to star in “District 9,” landing the role in the movie due to childhood friend Neill Blomkamp’s fondness for Copley’s improvisational skills, skills which will be ideally suited to the Murdock character.

Great news for all the A-Team fans out there, the film starts shooting in Canada in late fall. So I wouldn’t expect this one till summer 2011.

Jessica Biel Makes Her Stage Debut

jessica-biel

Jessica Biel has made lots of movies and TV shows, but appeared on stage for the first time this weekend at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Guys and Dolls.

Actually it wasn’t the very first time Jessica had performed on stage. She said:

“I did one thing in college. In college, I did a concert version of ‘Tommy’ when I was in college. But, other than that … “

Biel played Sarah Brown, a missionary who battles morally with a group of gamblers – until she falls in love with one of them.

The actress says that Broadway could be next on her agenda.

“Oh, yeah. I would love to.  Literally, that is one of my eight-year-old dreams. That’s like my little eight-year-old inside me is cartwheeling around, thinking about that idea.”

She could totally do it – lots of movie actors and actresses are making the jump to Broadway.   Good luck and congratulations, Jessica!
